Please sync up your microphone volumes. I absolutely love watching you guys and hearing your thoughts, but I have turned you off several times because I have to turn the volume up to barely hear Josh, then you BOOM through the speakers when you talk. Work on this Please? Pretty Please??? I've been a Star Wars fan since I was 5...seeing the original on screen in '77. What a wonder! You've really brought it back to life for me and I'm amazed at how well you mirror my thoughts on all of the films. Thank you for being there for us fans! Just quit making us hit the volume every time the other guy speaks.... lol.

@@314beatzz I mean maybe... But I've got friends using straight up standard headset microphones that sound clearer and definitely louder. If it's discord, perhaps theory has Josh's level too low. It almost seems like Josh has a poorly set up noise gate, but I don't think that's the issue.

Theory I just wanted to say I think certain other star wars channels bringing politics into star wars isnt good for the community and gets alot of people not thinking clearly about things. And im glad you have stuck to just star wars theories.

Solution to microphone volumes:
Theory mic might be too loud
Josh mic might be too quite
Sync up the volumes in whatever program you use to stream. Make it so when you both speak it peaks at the same level, not having both settings turned up full and full because your mic might be louder or his more quiet.

@@josephrudden9620 yes, he’s also a tremendous live action actor and Thrawn was modelled in appearance after Lars so he literally looks the same minus the blue skin. He’s pretty much perfect as we get the voice, the look and the acting capabilities

Honestly guys... Theory, Josh and the amazing Mark blew my mind this evening . this was probably the best Nerd Theory podcast / rule of 2 that I have ever had the privilege of watching / listening to. I have been working my ass off ONA 6 day straight roster at work I came home had a couple of drinks and just sat glued to my smart TV listening to my favourite bros. Bless you guys you have no idea how much joy you bring to a plethora of amazing simpletons. Thank you so much for your level of investment into this amazing community. Regarding your conversation of passionate dream jobs, for me it was to do illustration/character design for animation/movies/video games. And it was all because of the “Creating General Grevious” documentary on the bonus disc of Revenge of the Sith that has made me want to pursue that.
They are getting people who don’t know star wars, to write star wars.

Congratulations to theory for the huge upcoming cobra kai fundraiser! I cannot wait! I had never seen karate kid from the 80s but because of all the cobra kai hype I watched all 3 seasons and this is by far one of the best series of the century! Now I finished watching the movies with my mom and now I am making her rewatch cobra kai with me. The movies and series flow so nicely together and you can totally feel the tremendous respect the creators of cobra kai have for the original story and characters!

Agreed. I don't think Mandalorian necessarily needs to go dark, though I wouldn't be against it, but would be nice to see him doing jobs, going after people, being a Mandalorian/bounty hunter. I love those first 2 episodes.

Personally I believe Theroy's mic is too high making Josh's sound low.

Star Wars Theory, important question, would love to know! Does Anakin Skywalker ever get the bomb in his head removed? Remember when they said they can't escape or interfere with it or else their head would explode. What happened after he got freed?
The Phantom Menace book explains the slave chip, what you're re referring to as a "boom" was deactivated by Qui-Gon after he received the Anakin's slave remote from Watto.

Grogu is not an "infant". He is a CHILD. The equivalent of 5 at the youngest, probably closer to 9. Everything in the Mandalorian supports this, from the terms they use, to how they treat and address him.
I don't see Thrawn, being a brilliant strategist would bring about something (or someone) that would ultimately usurp his own power... However, he may come to realize that as long as there are force users to oppose, and thwart him, he is vulnerable... THAT may cause him to seek a way to give himself the ability to wield the force himself... Maybe that is what the grogu experiments are about? Endless possibilities from there... Does he succeed? Does it lead to Snoke? Does he realize the danger in what he's done and assist the heroes in the end, perhaps sacrificing himself in order to do so?

Josh’s sentences tend to run on a little , then theory’s louder comments summarize for me. So it works.
The best after sequel plot they can do imo is a KOTOR like story: a forgotten sith empire hidden beyond the outter rim that was defeated a long time ago and that is back. You can introduce it within the High Republic with a story Revan/Malak-ish (where they go in search of the mastermind after defeating the mandalorians and return as sith) and then 200 years later the empire arrive to finish it off. Thrawn will expect it and can be the vilain up until that point. Something along those lines would be pretty cool imo.
The Yuuzhan Vongs on the other hand is not something that the casual star wars viewer will understand I think as it not star wars-ish enough (from an external/casual point of view, it looks more like classic SF than SW).
The new high republic book gets better, it does go slow after impact for a fair bit but theres characters and perspectives that get introduced that really make it interesting
After hearing these two not like it last week, this comment has made me want to check it out!

I think they could do The Dark lady of the sith Lumiya, or Exar Kuns' spirit in a temple, The Yuzon Vong ,or The Lost Tribe of the Sith would be super dope! I know the Lost Tribe is way off in the future but I feel like they could squeeze it in there. I'm gonna be real though they need to off the sequel trilogy, decanonize the whole thing. Start over with Luke rebuilding the Jedi Order and not running off. We need Mara Jade too. We could have so many great antagonist that are fresh. I'm still confused about why they did the sequel trilogy the way they did. It could've been a triumph of cinema. Jason and Jaina Solo would have been an amazing continuation of the Skywalker story. If you read this all, thank you lol you're a legend!
Also I have to say and let's be real here, they should recast the mains. If they do a new Star Wars trilogy. They should at least have de aged/ CGI main cast. But in honor of Carrie Fisher (may she rest in peace) I think she should be re cast. Also idt Harrison Ford wants to do anymore Star Wars movies. I think it would be super cool if they had a future Luke in something. I think Mark Hamill would love to redo and correct his role.

I think what Lore Star said is going to happen. The novelization of the sequels says that Luke had Ben as his first apprentice when Ben was 10. Ben was born on 5 ABY, which is where we are now. Luke has Grogu 10 years before he trains Ben. I think Ahsoka surviving the duel with Vader has changed the timeline. The sequels exist in a timeline where Vader killed her and The Mandalorian is the timeline where she survived by Ezra!

I think Darth Plagueis would be an incredible Thanos-like big bad. If Palpatine can survive all this time why can’t he? Especially as his master. If Plagueis were to return in a fitting and well-explained manner (perhaps Thrawn discovers he’s still alive in the Unknown Regions) he would be an immense threat to Grogu, the future Jedi, and the rest of the galaxy, while also being a villain the entire fandom could get behind. They may even be able to make Rey’s story arc cooler if in the post-episode 9 era she spent her time trying to investigate Plagueis’ whereabouts/plans. What I think would be amazing: Plagueis decides to abandon The Rule of Two, and he’s been training a cult of Sith acolytes in the background of the sequel era and beyond, to eventually overtake the galaxy. Just an idea, I’m a fairly casual Star Wars fan so don’t rip me too hard lol.

I have a theory... Luke trains Grogu, but his attachments to Din Djarin releases the dark side in him and Grogu ends up being a Sith, but not just any Sith, he becomes the new big bad, and reboots a new attempt by the Sith to take over the universe.

Guess I was the only person that loved the first High Republic book. Thought it wasn’t boring at all. Really kept me engaged and wanting to continue reading.
Just to let everyone know the original thrawn trilogy introduced the first force resentment creatures called the ysalamiri. That's what thrawn used to get the upper hand on Luke,Mara, and sabaoth. They're force resentments was much stronger than the vongs as well. I personally loved both ideas because it challenged the jedi when fighting without it.

Can you come up with your own story? I mean, obviously u can, I have watched like 50 of your videos over the last week... You should come up with your own series. Your own world. Why not? Your talent is your story telling ability, use that to make a new world ! Imagine, you don't have to deal with disney making the 7,8, 9 th episodes of your own series haha... The last 2 days I kept thinking "dammit, I want this man to have his own thing! I want him to take control" and I kept being stumped on how you could do that with star wars, but it's your storytelling everyone loves, so tell your own story!! Check out the comic again... I think you missed some of the cool lore stuff. The alien bugs weren't part of the test. Something was causing them to "tweak out." As well, those original tests she was going through had a little more significance than you might've picked up on. I thought it was pretty good, pretty excited to see where they are going with all of this. Ties in really well to everything else going on in the High Republic.

How cool would it be for Luke's next enemy to be the Jedi Master most responsible for turning his father to the Dark Side? It'd also be incredibly symbolic, with Mace representing the failed, dogmatic ways of the Old Jedi Order... and Luke representing the New Jedi Order that must take its place.

It is awesome watching both of u together. U are both my favorite star wars channels. I love your content and find myself agreeing with u alot. I came up with the same theory as den of nerds when he talked about rey's force children after ben saved her. Watching it I felt that was what was happening then.
I hope they play Thrawn as an anti-hero who ‘does bad things for good reasons’ and even represents a remnant faction that doesn’t want Palpatine back. I could see him lead the 7th Fleet and build them up toward the Empire of the Hand then have the Snoke/Palp faction assassinate him and turn them into the First Order.
Cavan Scott wrote a series of books for kids based on Star Wars. Adventures in Wild Space - they were really good. He’s one of the writers on the high republic and if he wrote the dooku book hopefully there should be some hope on the horizon.
