#1 the spoiled brat of a cousin was not just jealous, but envious. Which it’s not just wanting what you have, but also the desire the deprive you of what you have. Also with the value of all of it, that’s way into a felony. And the fact that the OP had cam footage of the theft sealed their fate. May he recover all that was stolen, if not the value of what was stolen if the items cannot be returned. And may that stupid aunt and her hellspawn receive all that is coming to them.
There was a comment op left that his younger cousin is 16 so bit surprised he didn’t got arrested too and went to juvie, his mom probably took the blame or they were in a state that he can’t be charge only the parent will get it.
I have been a Pokémon fan for 20 years and my collection has been growing during those 20 years. I have over 3k Pokémon cards. I have also invested a lot financially into my Nintendo games systems and emotionally into my Pokémon games. Before I get married, I'm getting a prenup for my Pokémon collection because it's that important to me. If someone came in and stole my Pokémon collection, I would raise hell and go scorched Earth.
I grew up with Pokémon, I still have all my old cars from around 15 years ago, plus new very rare cards, plus some Pokémon games, they are very valuable to my eyes and I really hope no one steals it all
Definitely get the prenuptial agreement. I still have all my pokemon cards from the 90s and my game boy with the games. A lifetime collecting. My kids have since grown up with pokemon. We all love it ❤
First story: at least OP was able to get their cards back. I jas a binder nearly full of older vintage cards from the 90's/00's, in a box full of other now vintage plushies, and Burger King toys that I had collected new when I was a kid. I live im an apartment, and it only holds so much, so I had an storage closet that was in my complex, and I had my box of pokemon stuff down there with other things and it had been fine for nearly 20 years. But sometime around the beginning of this year (December '23/January '24) a lot of the complex storage closets were robbed, including mine. And of course my apartment complex didn't have cameras pointed over there, and nothing was insured (most of what I had was just sentimental stuff and Christmas decorations), and everything was just gone. The Christmas stuff, my childhood possessions, toys my late father bought me, it was all gone, and no way for me to get any of it back. I thought I saw my cards being sold on fb at one point, but I can't prove anything so it wasn't worth it to stir up trouble. I have no way to even investigate, as the seller was in another town and I don't have a car and can't drive. Tldr: I was robbed of my orginal vintage pokemon cards, and no way to get them back. People suck.
My sympathies. I would have bolted down a safe into that closet and put the valuables in there. Even if the stuff such as Christmas decorations are stolen, at least they can’t take a bolted down safe.
My sympathies. I would have bolted down a safe into that closet (if the landlord allows it). The valuables can all go in it, and even if the other stuff such as Christmas decorations are stolen, the valuables would still be secure.
I grew up with Pokémon, I’m 100% with the OP, seriously this is above outrageous, my Pokémon stuff is extremely valuable to my eyes, I have some Pokémon game and all my old card from my childhood, the oldest are almost 15 years old, I am 21, plus some new rare card that are extremely valuable but I managed to find them at their original price the whole set is 5 figures worth, I allow people to have an eye on my stuff and touch it if they want, everyone have been carefull with it all, I really hope no one steals it all, it would be devastating
If the son is age 7 or older but typically under the age of 15 (or possibly younger in some jurisdictions) he would go to juvenile hall. But yeah, I hear you there.
First story, You were really lucky to get your stuff back, especially with the cops backing you up, the cops in my area don't care about stuff like that, had she been where I am, that brat would've gotten away with it easily and get no consequences....
That was the biggest thing i was worried about!! Like your talking hundreds of thousands worth of merchandise and cards!!! Like he better have gotten it all back

Generally,do what’s mostly in trend in the Pokemon community, even one video blowing up can give you a solid fanbase and help keep it growing, Ik I’m not a ytber but that’s just what seems like a good idea, just try not to rely on trends too much or else people will call you an npc

*Story 1:* Psycho aunt should be arrested. Even if she didn't steal the trading cards, she allowed her son to steal OP's cards, which is *not* okay.

Hopefully the OP recorded the phone call too.... since the aunt openly admitted that she would lie to the police too.
Agreed!!
There was a comment op left that his younger cousin is 16 so bit surprised he didn’t got arrested too and went to juvie, his mom probably took the blame or they were in a state that he can’t be charge only the parent will get it.
@@QuickManEXE Assuming they are in a 1-party consent state.

I would do the same

As a huge Pokémon fan, this is outrageous!

Yea
May Giratina damn the the aunt and her spawn to the Distortion World.
For first story, that's sickening. Both aunt and her son should go to prison for this.
If the son is age 7 or older but typically under the age of 15 (or possibly younger in some jurisdictions) he would go to juvenile hall. But yeah, I hear you there.
@princessmarlena1359 my country have juvenile schools. Some minors are sent there are involved in traffic related crimes and substances uses.
Story 1: Something that valuable needs to be locked in a bolted down safe.
Pass 500 is considered grand theft.
Im gonna eat spaghetti bolognaise to this

Yum!
Last story sounds like the family is part of a cult. Good on OP for breaking free of them.
That’s what I was thinking!

“Too busy, proof poor, don’t care, it’s a civil matter, and NO FIGHTING!” I’ve heard those sorry excuses from them, even with good proof.
#1 the cousin is so entitled that he would sell the cards to get rich (I also collect Pokémon cards 4 binders)😅
I'm gonna eat the old sonic the hedgehog curry to this
Well, the aunt will definitely have a felony theft on her record now
12:33 no the op is not the jerk. And the grandparents deserve to be called out. And every one who sided with the grandparents deserve to go to jail.
OH HECK NO!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
First op is set for a long time if he wants money lol
Story 1: HOLY CRAP!!!! I figured she'd steal his cards, but she basically stole EVERYTHING Pokemon related of his, even his fucking Pokemon Go account.
dude im obsessed with pokemon and if someone stole my cards i would have a full on meltdown
I love listening to these stories
Imagine they had a gory or like very inappropriate manga and the little cousin got forever traumatized💀💀💀
The Attack on Titan manga probably traumatized the little cousin💀💀💀
But did he ever get the cards back?
Yeah
I hope you guys are keeping an eye out for updates to that first story! I want to know what happens next!
My blood boiled when i heard the 1st story since i myself have a manga, pkm card and figure collection
