- Cookie dough is sandwiched between super soft vanilla cake layers and covered with silky smooth brown sugar frosting. It’s a rich cake but not overly sweet. Everyone who has tried it loves it!

Absolutely! But you would need to chill the cake if you want it the frosting to be firm before adding fondant

5:14 Your tutorial was excellent to say the least! I love cookie dough ice cream so I know I will love this cake. This is a must recipe I must try even being new at baking and decorating cakes. Would we be bad decorators if one or two cookie dough balls did not make it to the table to serve?

It's a lot less sweet than traditional buttercream, a bit more time consuming and finicky to make, and the consistency is different for frosting a cake - it took me a few tries to get the hang of it!
