Every now and then, I log into this account to check comments and see how much the views have gone up, and it’s weird to me that a random lyrics video that I made in an hour when I was 14 years old is still being watched and appreciated today. I found this video when I was 17 years old and I used to listen to it and think to myself “I can’t wait to grow up, and find love and run away with him and live in a sanctuary with the love of my life” I was under the idea that maybe when I got older - love would be more simple and that we would create some sort of nymph Woodland together of life and this song carry’s those little dreams I harbored within myself about what I dreamed love to be when I was an innocent teenager. I’m 30 now and I’ve learned that love is more painful than it is magical. But I still listen to this song to this day, and it brings me feelings of immense peace and solace. I knew the song from when I was like 13/14 I downloaded it off of limewire - but when I stopped using limewire and switched to RUclips, this video helped me fall asleep so many times when I was crying myself to sleep. It really helped me to feel safe in my dreams about love. I think that the male vocals with hers are so beautifully blended. I hope to be able to write a song this powerful and soothing someday.

I never thought that I would be using this song for my wedding last summer but also not even 10 months later for my late husbands funeral. Years ago he found this cd and bought it for me. Very exciting stuff, and I’m thriving in my new environment. But more importantly, as of today (when I most recently checked anyhow 😅) this video has 1.6 MILLION views, which honestly blows me away! Thanks so much for validating my edgy little 14-year old self after all this time. ❤️ I’ve often wondered if I should make another lyric video whenever I have the free time and the motivation strikes me. Nice to see you're still around and kicking after all these years; back when you was 14 and I was 16, these songs were our everything and helped us out when we were fed up with everything going on around us - the Lyric videos were a fantastic outlet where you could let out so much of them emotions. Your audience have moved on just like you have with life, I'm not sure another lyric video would hit like these types did hehe. I still come back here every x amount of months when I want to reminisce back to my edgy teenager days. Typically at 2AM when I can't sleep, like I did back then when Myspace was a thing :P

Okay, no. You can’t say that when Far From Heaven exists. Which, need I remind you, is at the very least on par to their absolute best music ever made. Yes, their old music is amazing, but so is their new. And Far From Heaven is proof as a god tier song.
The great Evanescence is the Evanescence lineup since 2007, and musically starting with the great album The Open Door. Evanescence has grown and evolved and musically explored every era - which was the whole point of Evanescence as Amy intended - , and they're the best they've been, especially in the recent years from Synthesis to The Bitter Truth
I just liked this.......but can someone tell me why ANYONE would dislike this video. I mean this song is just so hauntingly beautiful and Amy Lee's voice has an angelic tone to it. Thumbs up if you agree. :)

This song makes me think of two spirits that are in love and wanna fly away together. However one spirit is having a hard time getting the other one to stay with her. So she cries out wondering where he is. Deep but it’s what I feel.
For me, this song is written by someone who lost a very special person (husband, wife, lover) and can only se him/her in his/her dreams

This song definitely reminds me of some scene where two people are figuring out each or escaping together and falling in love. Sounds so romantic but adventurous and haunting at the same time. I love it. Such a beautiful song!

Amy's like...the best female singer I have ever heard. I just love her songs. it is sometimes as if they even speak my life. Amy is just plain amazing and a beautiful singer. That is saying something. ♥
