I just NEED to know if the internet is finally happy she said WAVY curly and not CURLY. like can yall live your lives in peace now without having to come at her with the 'its not curly thats barely 2b' comments lmao amazing video btw
I went short for the 1st time ever in my life some months ago and it's a hassle to find the right products for curly heads! I definitely need to invest in a sculpting cream. So glad you made this video, so simple and cute!!! 😊😊😊
Hello Sarah! My hair is very much like yours. I get ZERO frizz if I dry AND scrunch my hair with a 100% cotton t-shirt or a microfiber towel. After it's about halfway dry, I apply a good amount of gel (nothing expensive: L.A. Looks Sport, Dippity Do, Kinky Curly), scrunch again, and let my hair air dry completely. Finally, I scrunch out the "crispy" cast the gel leaves using my hands or a dry cotton shirt. My waves last about 4 days, and more importantly, my hair has become so shiny and healthy since I stopped the constant blow dry/flat iron sessions! I learned those tricks from watching "curly girl method" videos. I hope you try it and get equally good results!
You are adorable! I was applying sculpting foam by running my fingers thru my hair. I tried your scrunch method and no longer have frizz. Now there's a more elongated, defined curl. I immediately received compliments. Thank you.
I love the low maintenance of your hair and the beautiful results you get! You motivated me to get a big chop in the spring. and Spring can't come soon enough! Thanks for sharing!
This video is perfect! I have the same hair type. I would like to know what you do after the first day. Mine gets frizzy and kind of crazy after 2 days.
U r so beautiful and your hair is almost like mine. I cut mine two days ago. U can get better results and more curly hair if you change towel to microfibre or t-shirt. Try to put some styling product on wet hair and squeeze from ends to roots to add definition, then leave to dry. And read about curly girl method, plopping, fitagem :-)
Thanks for the hints. I use BounceCurl creme gel, which I love (and it's not as expensive). Just wondering... what do you do to refresh your hair on the days between washings?
Wow! What great tips! I have short hair as well and always looking for a fast and easy way to style it! I will definitely try this out! Thank you for the tip!
Thank you for this video! My daughter has short wavy hair like yours and I have the world's straightest hair haha. We were able to make her hair look super cute (like yours!) for our family pictures. Your video made a 13 year old tomboy feel beautiful!
Many thanks for your video! My hair is a similar length to yours and slightly curlier, but following your technique of scrunching/smoothing product on your clumps right out of the towel (or in my case, my microfiber turban towel) worked so well for me today. I used what I already had at home, a curl enhancing cream and plain old hairspray, and I'm sold! This is the best technique I've tried since I chopped my hair, and it's so fast and easy. So basically, you rock. 😁
I just have tell you.... Girl you've got a great vibe! I'm trying to comment but I'm missing the video... but ì can hear you, and it's really, really, just something worth mentioning! You sound genuine and feel like a friend would.... Also, the your annunciation (maybe the word...) is very unique
Hi Sarah, Thx for the video.... your hair looks great! is there a picture of the style after it is dry? Is that it at the front of your video? Is your hair layered? I have a problem keeping the volume at the crown like you seem to have.... Any advice? Thanks much
Nice!!! I watched the Deva curl way and thought this is just too involved and unnecessary. No “plopping”, “squish to condish”. You’re not trying to sell products here. Love that! Thanks for the video!
Do would i need to brush it? Or leave it. I recently cut my hair this short and i have super thick hair with a wavy/curly texture so do i not brush it?
Your hair is wonderful! Mine has never been wavy, but it has started being wavy at the roots and still straight at the length, so it's been weird shaped and I don't know what to do. Sometimes I think of chemically treat the roots to become straight, but I dontwant to become dependent of the process. Aometimes I think of cutting it wven shorter until it grows to aee if it will become totally wavy, but rhen I don't know how to style it until it grows enough 🥺
You can definitely adjust the CG method depending on how oily your hair is/your curl pattern. I have ~2C wavy hair that's pretty fine, and I shampoo my hair every other day. Other people can get away with not shampooing it at all or only doing it once a week or so, but my hair would get too oily. Other than that, it's basically just avoiding sulfates & silicones and finding the products that work for you (I just use gel).
I completely agree. I have barely wavy hair and the complete CG method does not work for me. My hair is fine and will get oily by day 3 if I don't wash it no matter what I do. I also found that just staying away from sulfates and silicons and using a silicone free gel works best for me.
Monica Leite I’m slightly curlier but have fine hair. I hated deva curl products I had so much frizz. Many products are way too heavy. I’ve resolved to using decent products but not strictly curly girl. My favorite is obliphica seaberry curl and obliphica seaberry moisture creams.
Thank you for sharing! I just discovered your channel and I’m loving your reviews! I only have one question, do you color your hair? If so, what shade do you use? I have the same hair color as you but I’m barely getting some grays which I would like to cover with a shade similar to mine.
My hair type looks justo like yours but when mine dries ir turns into a big frizzy mess :( love the moisture un your curls. Whats the name of your haircut?
You and I have very similar hair types which one excited about after watching countless videos looking for hair inspiration! What shampoo and conditioner do you use??
I have the exact same hair type/ color etc! I’m thinking of cutting my hair super short! Right now it’s 24” (too long)! How do you get your hair to not part?
I ordered both these products based on this video, which was good. Here’s what it did for me. The cream made my hair stiff as a board...worse than a strong-hold gel. The spray made my hair sticky to the degree where my hair was literally sticking to me hands. I was very frugal using both because of the cost...over $50, so I opted for the small sized spray. Good. I do believe this company banks on the notion that stupid people, like me, would think just because it is expensive, it’s got to be good. Nope. You can always manage to sell something one time...the profit happens if they cone back for more. Well, it ain’t gonna be me! I rinsed out both products and started over again using My hair is a combination of textures; frizzy on top and b6 m6 neck; more curly on my right side, smoother curls on the left. Neither product did me any good. I don’t even know if it got rid of the freeze up top because it was too stiff to de-crunch. Awful, awful product. Huge rip-off. I’ll stick with my no-poo and sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and Joico Joywhip mousse, and a little Shea butter the 3rd day.
I have like the same hair type as you except mines a little longer and has some damaged ends. I'm chopping off my ends soon though to start on my healthy hair journey
1:51 i am not a native English speaker,so i didn't understand what did she say in this time of the video. I think i heard "the last you do to your hair". Please explain to me!
Oh i didnt knw there was a difference. I have a notts nest. Curly hair is curly hair. Your lucky you have curly hair. People wish they had curly hair. You can do so much with hair like ours. Oh tresseme volume is great for curly hair also. What is that your useing you said to keep your curl shape and define the curls??
Nice vid but DO NOT use a normal towel to dry if you have curly frizzy hair. It's the first NONO within the 'curly girl method' you need a micro fiber towel if you get frizz. It's all in the Curly Girl Facebook group :)
I am trying to embrace my curly/wavy hair and I am not good at styling my hair at all, I never have been. Does anyone have any tips for a girl that is styling challenged? When I leave the salon, my stylist has my hair looking so good and I am clueless as to how to style my hair to get such nice curls like she does.
Read about curly girl method. Put some styling gel on soaking wet hair and squeeze, head down and squeeze from ends to roots. Air dry or use difuser. When completely dry squeeze the same way with a drop of oil until hair is soft
I just NEED to know if the internet is finally happy she said WAVY curly and not CURLY. like can yall live your lives in peace now without having to come at her with the 'its not curly thats barely 2b' comments lmao
amazing video btw
-Lol
People that give her grief are, tbh, jealous. Who wouldn’t want to look like this gal? She is gorgeous, and so is her hair.
I went short for the 1st time ever in my life some months ago and it's a hassle to find the right products for curly heads! I definitely need to invest in a sculpting cream. So glad you made this video, so simple and cute!!! 😊😊😊

Use a microfiber towel or cotton tee shirt..towels cause frizz
Good to know! Thanks!
Yes
Maria Manning maybe only frizz when you rub it dry?
True
You are adorable! I was applying sculpting foam by running my fingers thru my hair. I tried your scrunch method and no longer have frizz. Now there's a more elongated, defined curl. I immediately received compliments. Thank you.

Wow!!! Your type of hair is my dream hair 😭 Please appreciate it!
It’s so nice to see simple routine such as this as opposed to curly girl method
You look beautiful! What type of hair cute is this ? If I wanted to have this cut done what would I ask for ? Thanks
FINALLY someone with my natural hair type! I've been looking for styling videos like this!
Awesome hair tip. What's the name of the products you used?
Thanks, Irene
San Antonio, TX
This video is perfect! I have the same hair type. I would like to know what you do after the first day. Mine gets frizzy and kind of crazy after 2 days.
Wish i have wavy/curly type instead of boring straight hair... your hair is pretty and love the length xx

In my opinion your hair is perfect 😍
I’m obsessed with this look!! :) I just donated 8” of my hair and I have very curly hair. It gets crazy frizzy so I’m hoping trying this could help.
Gorgeous hair! We have similar types mine is maybe 1 down from yours in terms of wavy-ness! 😍
I really like your hair like that. and your makeup especially your eyes look amazing xx
Thanks for the hints. I use BounceCurl creme gel, which I love (and it's not as expensive). Just wondering... what do you do to refresh your hair on the days between washings?

Your hair and makeup are beautiful.

I have natural wavy/curly hair. I'll have to try this out. Your hair is so beautiful!
Love this hairstyle on you Sarah. I love the eye makeup even more 😊 Channel keeps growing. Whoop Whoop! 👍🏼
What color eye makeup do you use? An eye makeup tutorial please.
I came here for the hair tutorial, but wow you are so beautiful. Thanks for the tips.

I’m definitely going to try this . My hair isant curly but it’s wavy and it makes me crazy
I like the eyeshadow

I needed this video in my life.
Hello. The Oribe Sculpting Cream is sold out. What do you recommend to replace it?
Hi thank you for sharing can you please tell me is your haircut one length or is it layered
Thanks! I recently cut it and I too forgot that my hair is so wavy!!! Now the frizz!
Hey love your video thanks! But what do you do after you sleep on it and the curls go crazy? Do you have a solution for that? 😣
You should try the curly girl method ☺️ my hairs like yours. I can wake up and walk away. Lasts for about 3 days for me.
Great video! If you like keeping your hair natural, then you should check out the curly girl method.
Stephanie Wood I found that way to complicated. Confused as to how to do it and not get oily hair. No one addresses that in the videos.

What is the brand name of the products you use? I love your hair ! Debbie K
hi your hair is gorgeous.i was just wondering what shampoo you use.
I have the exact same hair type/ color etc! I’m thinking of cutting my hair super short! Right now it’s 24” (too long)! How do you get your hair to not part?
Hi Sarah can you tell us what shampoo and conditioner you used for this style
Your hair looks great !!
I like ur hair! Have u ever tried or heard of the curly girl method? I bet you could get some awesome curls from it!
The sculpting cream is not available at that link. What another good one that you'd recommend??
Do those Oribe products have that same great scent that the shampoo and conditioner have?
Did you just get layers?? What hairstyle did you cut it in?? I love this!
Your hair looks great!
What kind of product do you use Sahra
Love your hair I'm thinking of going short again!!
How do you keep your hair out of your face? I have nice curls but unless I use tons of bobby pins, I look like Cousin It with a perm and a haircut!
I ordered both these products based on this video, which was good.

Nancy Drew Deva Curl products rock! Lots of videos to show you how to use them.
Great video. Love your earrings where did you get them?
But I've rough and straight hairs... Can u pls make some video about it
I like the style, but wouldn't want it to look wet. Can make you make your hair look like that but dry? If so, please share how.😊
I have like the same hair type as you except mines a little longer and has some damaged ends. I'm chopping off my ends soon though to start on my healthy hair journey
You look like Gaby Solis (Eva Longoria) on desperate housewives here. Gorgeous!
Hi! Name of foundation and color? Your look great, please😉
How often do you wash your hair and how does it look after a nights sleep? How do you style it then?
How does your hair have so much volume on top right out of the towel? Maybe it’s because it’s short?
I really liked it.. Cz my hair looks exactly like yours.
looks great Sarah ...hugs
Omg nice 😍😍😍
Thanks so much! This helped me alot.
Do you have thin or thick hair ?
Gorgeous
What type of shampoo do you use??
luv the hair & your so pretty 😉😎😆
1:51 i am not a native English speaker,so i didn't understand what did she say in this time of the video. I think i heard "the last you do to your hair".
Please explain to me!
The less you do to your hair, the better it's going to look if you have wavy or curly hair.
@@lady_libs Thank you a lot.
Beautiful ❤️
Hi! What kind of haircut did you ask for at the stylist? I never know what to tell them. Please and thank you :)
I’d love to know too
My hair almost exactly like yours!
Gorgeous!
Oh i didnt knw there was a difference. I have a notts nest. Curly hair is curly hair. Your lucky you have curly hair. People wish they had curly hair. You can do so much with hair like ours. Love it
You are gorgeous!
Beautyful 😍
Would moose work?
What sort of cut is that classed as?
I realllly want this haircut but I feel like my face is too round for this :(((((
lovely paradise - i am a big girl, with a round face, and my hair is in a short a-line, i get a lot of compliments... go for it, its just hair lol
Nice video
Choose GIOVANNI for curly hair, very pocket friendly.
Lovvve it
Nice tips but in my country if we can't efford these products then but thanks
Nice vid but DO NOT use a normal towel to dry if you have curly frizzy hair. It's the first NONO within the 'curly girl method' you need a micro fiber towel if you get frizz. It's all in the Curly Girl Facebook group :)
Step 1. Have very healthy hair.
You have healthy hair so this routine wont work for me. Love your hair . Blessed
Asha Ell baby your hair until it’s healthier! Mine was also a huge mess after years of heat, also a chop helps sometimes.
What cut do you have?
I am trying to embrace my curly/wavy hair and I am not good at styling my hair at all, I never have been. Does anyone have any tips for a girl that is styling challenged? pretty
Thanks
You didnt brush it
No if u brush curly-wavy hair, it just goes poofy and frizzy, and loses its shape. If u must brush,do it in ahower or before shower.
You don't brush wavy or curly hair! Get the knots out in the shower with conditioner
You are so beautiful 😍
How to hide baby hair
Wish this video was CC :(
