For a MechWarrior, war is life and death is the only true peace.
It is the 31st century...and mankind is, once again, at war. The battlefields of the future are dominated by huge robotic war machines called "Battlemechs." Piloting these awesome weapons of war are men and women, the Elite of the Elite, knowing that each battle could be their last. They are...MechWarriors.
48:39 holy shit i have no idea what instrument this is, but it sounds so good. it feels like a mix between space/future and regret, kinda like someone sitting in a mech thinking "why did it have to be this way" or seeing the damage a battle causes colaterally/to their lance (aka those they care about), perhaps wishing they could, but knowing they can't go back
If it was 2077 and humanity finally expanding into space, would I still be listening to this? Fuck yes I would be. How else would I distract myself from the endless night of space

My only experience with Mechwarrior is MW5 Mercs when i picked it up on gamepass for the first time. And while i think it's a mediocre at best game, it definitely has an interesting world and storyline. And of course, the kick-ass mechsuits. Nice mix Jason, keep up the good work! This puts me in the mood to play the game again sometime in the future.
Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed the mix! If you happen to be on PC I've heard that there are some really good mods for MW5 Mercs that really improve it 😊
Game is unplayable without YAML (Yet Another Mechlab). Pick it up from either NexusMods or the steam workshop and enjoy playing a complete mechwarrior game.
Just finished playing BTA 3062 before bed, immediately found this. Definitely going to play this while bopping Kuritans with Autocannons and artillery. Now alls we need is a Steiner mix lmao
I remember the late 80s, knowing only that minimal background coming with the play rulebook. And immediately setting my campaign in the FWL with Andurien and Canopus as the main villains.
@@JasonSkye I was more into the RPG, anyway the gaming group is long gone. But i still write some Battletech related stories. Played the Succession Wars boxed game during the lockdown and lately saved the Aurigan Reach with the pc game.

Oh my beloved Tone, what I'd give to hear your sweet voice say "Welcome back pilot, it is good to have you return" and "Switching to manual, all systems nominal" PS: Tone is a Titan in Titanfall 2
@@JasonSkye Titanfall 2 is excellent, on good days it's got a height of players of over 10,000, which is a lot for a game that saw it's last update in 2017 (I think) and then was completely abandoned and forgotten of by it's devs, only mentioned when they need to generate good will with the Apex Legends playerbase (both games are set in the same universe). The PVP meta is as static as you'd expect for a game that's 6 years old, but if you ever catch it on a discount and wanna try the Campaign is a thing of beauty, and the PVP it's so energetic, rapid and frantic it'll be a type of PVP game that doesn't exist anymore. It'll show you why it's a tragedy that it was the flash in the pan, blink and it's gone game that it was.
@@Saint_Wolf_ Damn that sounds really good, thanks! I'll keep an eye out for it on sale. I'm not much of one for multiplayer but I'm a sucker for a good single player campaign 😁

Been playing a fair bit of Mech5 over the last while. Current ride requires a mod that lets you slot Large Lasers into a Medium Slot but it's a sweeeeeet, ride. ANA-1E Annihlatior. Quad Large Pulse Lasers, Twin ER Large Lasers (The ones the mod allows) and Quad Medium Pulse Lasers and as many double heat sinks as well fit that can be found.
"How can music be Mechwarriory...?"
One minute in: "Okay, it is. How does this work?"
Three minutes in: "Ah screw it, lets go stomp on some APCs."
I’m replaying an old school one, Front Mission 4, and FINALLY have grind music! ❤️❤️
Crash!
Crush!
Burn!
Fire!
Trample!
Kick!
Hit!
Destroy!
Death!
From!
Above!
Victorious!
Been searching for something like this for ages. Definitely lucked out tonight!
Glad to be of assistance 😁
48:39 holy shit i have no idea what instrument this is, but it sounds so good. it feels like a mix between space/future and regret, kinda like someone sitting in a mech thinking "why did it have to be this way" or seeing the damage a battle causes colaterally/to their lance (aka those they care about), perhaps wishing they could, but knowing they can't go back
(Music starts) Me: *Not bad, I'm digging it.*
0:26 ("Reactor, online") *WAT*
("Sensors, online") *OH SHIT*
("Weapon systems, online") *YES!*
("All systems, nominal") *YEEEEEEEEES!!!*
If it was 2077 and humanity finally expanding into space, would I still be listening to this?
Fuck yes I would be. How else would I distract myself from the endless night of space
Exactly what I need to get amped for a round in the Solaris 7 arena.
I needed something synthy and heavy to get me through work today, thanks
You're very welcome!
10/10 would sleep to it again
Clanners to my left and clanners to my right and here I am, Allard, stuck in the middle with you!
😂😂
Oh right, it's a Charger, this should be fun
Just be sure to return it on time if it's a rental!
Pick up a tree with them hand actuators while you chill....... May come in handy for later
Or if there aren't any trees around, the blown-off arm or leg of an enemy mech 😊
00:07:25 LostSckare - Assault on the Fortress
this one is a banger!
Beat hitting hard like a Fafnir with two heavy gauses. Perfekt beats for fast or scrapper mech gameplay on mwo!
This is exactly what I needed to find for music to listen to doing chores. I feel badass now
Enjoy!
Thanks for the music
You're very welcome!

Bro, these are bangers! Good job!
@@NotoriusBEN1 Thank you very much! 🤘
You should release this on Bandcamp. I'd buy it.
oh, it's a mix of other people's stuff. never mind.
Man for these sweet tunes, take my five Dollars
You're in luck 😉 ruclips.net/video/7mXorjtbUUY/видео.html
That hits the spot.
DAMN THIS SLAPS HOLY FUCK
Hells yeah! 🤘 Glad you enjoyed it!
This is my most favorite mix of the bunch!
Can confirm: This is what catgirls headbang to in a 'Mech cockpit.
I remember the late 80s, knowing only that minimal background coming with the play rulebook. And immediately setting my campaign in the FWL with Andurien and Canopus as the main villains.
It's great to see you still interested all these years later! Do you still play?
@@JasonSkye I was more into the RPG, anyway the gaming group is long gone. But i still write some Battletech related stories. Played the Succession Wars boxed game during the lockdown and lately saved the Aurigan Reach with the pc game.
The only thing that would make this better is if the background was a slideshow of pictures and videos of mechs :D Great work! I'm loving this mix for gaming and work.
Thanks for the feedback, I agree it would be great to have something more than just the audio. Glad you enjoyed the mix 😁
Oh my beloved Tone, what I'd give to hear your sweet voice say "Welcome back pilot, it is good to have you return" and "Switching to manual, all systems nominal"
PS: Tone is a Titan in Titanfall 2
I've never played any of the Titanfall games, are they worth a shot?
@@JasonSkye the campaign, it's got some serious high points no game has managed to replicate, and with it's wall running and insane mobility tools, what can I say? I'd be surprise if you weren't to join the many hundreds of thousands if not millions who have enjoyed the campaign over the years.
@@Saint_Wolf_ Damn that sounds excellent, it's now on my wishlist!
Fuck yeah! Just earned yourself another sub!
Cheers!
bless you
My lance dropped somewhere in the periphery yesterday to this, great work, we were back about the same time the mix ended.
Thanks.
Hammer - 1st NC Irregulars, D Company.
Glad you enjoyed it! I hope the mission went well 😊
Mechs are pretty cool. I don't know why, but the idea of Mechs outside of the BattleTech universe feels awkward to me. I just want to see those Jenners, Hunchbacks, Catapults ..
Ah, dear connoisseur of musical brilliance, your rhapsodic acclaim for the Magistracy of Canopus masterful artistry in this synth wave resounds like the celestial harmony of a symphonic serenade. Your fervent pursuit to unveil every precious gem of his compositions is akin to an ardent quest for hidden treasures within a melodic labyrinth. Indeed, this maestro's virtuosity surpasses the confines of mere mortal expectation, akin to a celestial emissary gracing us with harmonious ambrosia.
Melts trough most things hella quick... the only down side is about the speed of the second coming of Christ. It's a case of 'it doesn't go fast; it just goes and plows through anything unfortunate enough to be in the way.
It's unfortunate there's not really any music that's similar to this genre for streamers. :( this the shit that actually gets me pumped for games in general.
These beats are bumpin more than HAG40s... Sick mix.
Cheers! 😁
