Agree. He looks nauseous, like he’s about to vomit. Probably because he knows he has to kill his fiancé who literally did nothing wrong outside of loving a mobster.
His ears were roaring, his heart pounding, every terrifying thing imaginable was ping ponging in his brain, his eyes darting. He probably didn't hear but 12% of what she was saying after the bomb dropped. Well, because of the rage and powerlessness he felt too, that exploded in him. Good God. That was some badass acting.

He's realizing that it in all likelihood, Tony probably wasn't going to let this one slide because how could he ever possibly trust Chris after this.

What I like about the sopranos series back in the day there was no show like it. Great TV series. Every actor in the TV series great. Great story Great characters
Every episode was like a .mini Scorsese movie great casting great acting great music great story lines; over the years it also worked like a soap you saw his kids growing up going through adolescence teenage angst and gradually becoming aware of the real world and trying to find their place in it ,so many different story lines going on at the same time it's also like a documentary about today's society. Television as good as it can possibly get
Phil: I'll tell you one thing and I'm not afraid to admit it. My estimation of Jimmy as Paco Rabanne who crawled up his ass and died just fucking plummeted.
Man, the way Chris says “I fuckin loved you” was so spot on, conveyed so much emotion and the way he already refers to her as if she’s dead and gone … great acting by Michael Imperioli
He was very good in that scene. He knew he should have killed her right there. And he does a more than credible job of playing both the struggle between rage and love he has for her at that moment. He knows its the end of the road, and that it came just that quick out of the blue, but.....he just can't pull the trigger, as he tells Tony the next day.
I’ve said this before, but the acting by Christopher/Michael Imperioli when he slowly finds out Adriana is a rat, it’s just…. The best. Like Al Pacino in Godfather 1 before he kills Solozzo
Watching Adriana's confession, you get the feeling that she might have had a very small - very, very small - chance of talking her way out of it until she starts with, "... There was a murder..." At that point, it was like a husband confessing an affair (e.g. Michael Douglas in Fatal Attraction): "She meant nothing to me. It's been over for a long time now... But she's pregnant." At that point, you're done.
3:26. Big P is mouthing off like a snitch. He's lost his sense of discretion and instincts as a mafioso because he's been snitching so long. This is another inkling to Tony that something isn't right with him.

He was a real sticker I mean stickler for the details . Could always find a hole to squeeze his way through. Heard he really knew how to use his rectal muscles.
Tony sopranos and he's whole crew would of been put in jail within a month if the major crimes unit from the wire were put on this case. The FBI were laughable in this show 😂
Lester and Prez would’ve come up with some creative way to bust them by like episode 5. McNulty would be Tony’s worst nightmare instead of a buddy buddy like Harris.
Chrissy and Adriana were incredible in that scene...brutal she had to be killed and to make it worse she really wasn't out for personal gain she genuinely tried to do the right thing always....FBI essentially killed her...ruthless
Worst take ever. She was ALWAYS out for personal gain and didn't bat an eye at murder, theft, and drug trafficking as long as it filled her wardrobe with designer clothes. She flipped because the FBI threatened her comfortable lifestyle, not because she had a sudden crisis of conscience.
Watching Jimmy Altieri clumsily trying to fish for info from Tony is so painful. How did a guy this dim become captain? You could see his ulterior motives from Florida.
1:23 Tony "I know you must've ratted cause why would you be out so quickly" in double speak. Wow Sopranos was something else didn't catch this the first time
"Hello Anthony "Tony" Soprano, my captain of the soprano crime family underneath Don Junior, I am here to confirm what we shall do with the illegally gained money from the Colombians. Yes I was let off on bail after being caught with an illegal firearm while on probation. Anyways I have to go thanks for the information, I promise I won't tell anyone Tony Soprano. Goodnight!"
I love the scene between Christopher and Adriana, Christopher’s eyes remind me of the scene in the godfather where Mike is about to whack Solozzo and his eyes are darting all over, then he switches to Henry Hills meltdown after Karen flushes the drugs in Goodfellas. Love it
It reminds me of the scene in godfather 2 where Kate tells Michael about the abortion. The camera shows a close up of michaels face getting more and more mad as she is talking, they do the same shot on Christopher here while Adriana was explaining herself
The chemistry between Drea and Michael is amazing! I saw some behind the scenes footage on this. Drea actually leaned INTO Michael's choke to make it more dramatic. And I "love" how even though Adrianna was just slapped and damned near choked to death, she still comforts her man, even though she just signed her own death certificate. Great actors. Great writing. Great show series. 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Michael Imperioli is so good in this scene. You can feel Christopher exploding internally, a million thoughts of how he's incriminated himself via Adriana over the last year, the heavy breathing. Much underrated actor.
5:30 reminds me of that scene in Goodfellas where Jimmy asked Henry to perform a hit and the movie freezes. Then Henry says, with certainty, that he knew Jimmy would kill him. At 5:30 the look on Christopher’s face said - ‘I love her, but for this there is no coming back’. Adrianna was naive, and thought Christopher cared more about her than the Mafia but he didn’t. Later in life, Christopher would resent the Mafia and realised Adrianna really cared about him. Then his own death by Tony’s hands. It’s a tragic story.
I always loved the acting between the actors in the Jimmy and Tony scene (James Gandalfinj but I don’t know Jimmy’s actors name). But Jimmy fidgeting and avoiding eye contact, the camera turnaround when Tony realizes what’s going on, and then how Tony makes sure to answer without giving himself away, god I love this scene so much.

Yeah that fbi shit just miiiiiight be worst lol in this case

What I like about the sopranos series back in the day there was no show like it. Great TV series. Every actor in the TV series great. Great story Great characters
Every episode was like a .mini Scorsese movie great casting great acting great music great story lines; over the years it also worked like a soap you saw his kids growing up going through adolescence teenage angst and gradually becoming aware of the real world and trying to find their place in it ,so many different story lines going on at the same time it's also like a documentary about today's society. Television as good as it can possibly get
"The Sopranos" changed television forever. There is before Sopranos and after Sopranos. Period.
@@erichodge567 yes
Drea DiMatteo's performance in her last appearance as a living character was absolutely stellar, one of the greatest things in the entire series.
Phil: I'll tell you one thing and I'm not afraid to admit it. My estimation of Jimmy as Paco Rabanne who crawled up his ass and died just fucking plummeted.
Coach turned into a pumpkin 😢
"Borkos lawyers told them hey, he doesn't own these clips. These clips were here when he moved into the joint"
Imperiolis acting in this scene..
Masterpiece
His son was his strength
100%, insanely good.
He was loyal to his capo
He took Ben Kingsley to acting school
It really is good acting. Anybody can see that. It's as plain as the nose👃on HIS face 😂😂😂
Man, the way Chris says “I fuckin loved you” was so spot on, conveyed so much emotion and the way he already refers to her as if she’s dead and gone … great acting by Michael Imperioli
Always taken note of this because he follows it up with ‘what’re WE gonna do’ and not ‘what am I gonna do’ as you’d expect him to say.
the close ups on his face when adriana is in the middle of telling him are nuts. it's crazy that he can do that with his face on command
Yeah, and see all the gangs older wives eating fine and zipping there lips 24/7. Best Mob TV there was!
I always read him saying “how can you do this to us” that he was referring to Tony’s crew and not him and Ade.
Michael Imperioli was the 2nd best actor in the series after James
Michael Imperioli is one hell of an actor. You actually see red in his eyes.

It reminds of the scene in Godfather II when Kay tells Michael that she got an abortion.
@@SRLovesPandas1 great scene. I think that’s a better comparison
2:00 he meant 'Jimmy McNulty from The Wire is the 🐐'
You know, Bobby DeMarco predicted all this

I FUCKING KNEW IT
Who did wha?

- I gotta go. Wassup?
- It's borko, it's fucking borko
- What?
- The clips...it's fucking borko
New copyright techniques, I should have clipped him right there in my fucking basement.
The shot of the ring 5:55 while Christopher is choking her out tells so much in a matter of seconds.
How so?
The love of his life...yet nothing is going to jeopardize his "family ties".
The way Italians say “Fat Fuck”. Is legendary! It really hits home. What a programme!
That last scene is some of the best acting ive seen. Right down to the labored breathing
Brilliant acting. That's why the sopranos is the greatest tv show of all time.
Christopher’s emotion and spiral of thoughts Is so well acted. I love this show
3:26. Big P is mouthing off like a snitch. He's lost his sense of discretion and instincts as a mafioso because he's been snitching so long. This is another inkling to Tony that something isn't right with him.
"You missed your calling. You shoulda been a lawyer".
"Please, enough people hate me".
Brilliant.
Between Borko uploading telenovelas and Captains catching (not pitching) how much betrayal can us Subscribers take?
Despite the title, Adriana wasn't discovered - she confessed.
If you check out how many of the cast members who passed away, it's like 60-70 people sadly.
The fuckin 90s, 20-30 years out
The show started a quarter century ago and featured lots of older men. That's just life
all that charcoal broiled meat
Got cheaper as the series went on
I saw Michael Imperioli on the subway a few months ago. He was wearing a mask at first, but I could see it was him. Then he took it off.
3:38 He explains the entire scheme out loud because he's wearing a wire. never noticed that before
Tony immediately caught that. That look he gave him
notice how christuhfuh says “how could you do this to US” not even “how could you do this to ME”
then apologizes to her for the first time in literally ever
Facts 💯
RUclips notifications when Borko uploads: “I want you to see it! I want you to see that fuckin video strapped on a sopranos binge alright! I want you to see it!”
Michael Imperioli fucking killed this scene. Just his eye movements, processing the information that he and Ade are likely dead.
Adriana really believed the FBI 😥
Facts 💯
Whenever the FBI says it's gonna be nice and sunny outside I reach for my umbrella.
I recall what mark Wahlberg says about the FBI in departed ..."the FBI are like mushrooms. Feed them 💩 and keep them in the dark"
He wasn't mad until he found out she informed about the family business.
That Adriana and Chris scene is just heart wrencing 😱
Legit sad asf
Jimmy Altieri: "I wanted to get my boss to incriminate himself on a recording device... but I compromised, I asked a litany of painfully leading questions about detailed wrongdoing and got no definitive response."

Tony sopranos and he's whole crew would of been put in jail within a month if the major crimes unit from the wire were put on this case.
The FBI were laughable in this show 😂
ROTFLMMFAO 😭💀.
Major crimes ? Shiiiiiiiiiiiit
Natural po-lease.
Lester and Prez would’ve come up with some creative way to bust them by like episode 5. McNulty would be Tony’s worst nightmare instead of a buddy buddy like Harris.
I dont know they were putting the screws on jimmy and adrianna like they were shcoolkids
Imperioli does very good face acting. You can see him grow cold and ruthless like a wolf before exploding into a silent anger
Chrissy and Adriana were incredible in that scene...brutal she had to be killed and to make it worse she really wasn't out for personal gain she genuinely tried to do the right thing always....FBI essentially killed her...ruthless
no the mob killed her lmao wtf is this logic man
She was dead the minute she moved in with Chris.
What a great actor, damn. 0:23 You can't see his eyes, but you can feel his mind flow, his realization.
Christopher learning about the FBI might be single greatest piece of acting ever recorded.
I wish they had done more with Bobby DeMarco, he was my favorite character.
I wish they had Drea do a nude scene !
Goodnight!"
That last scene … probably the most powerful in the entire series.
right up there with Whitecaps
Adriana should have bolted 5 minutes after Chris almost choked her to death. Went straight into witness protection.
The camera shows a close up of michaels face getting more and more mad as she is talking, they do the same shot on Christopher here while Adriana was explaining herself
plot twist: there was never any FBI. just rival mobs posing as FBI intending to cause dissent for Tony's mob.
Tony: The wire! Its Jimmy!
McNulty: The fuck did I do??
If this is what happens to FBI informants, I can't imagine what borko does to HBO informants.
It won't be cinematic
@@charliehancock4581 Of course not, it's HBO.
Hadn't seen Borko for a while. Maybe he flipped?
That scene looks so real. You can almost see Adriananas eyes bulging with the strangulation.
Great acting by Chris and Adriana! Great scene
Even all these years later, this scene breaks 💔 my heart
She knew she fucked up and was just gonna let him kill her because she knew that’s what was gonna happen anyways.
Paulie snitching would kill Tony instantly lmfao
When Adriana told Chris she’s a FBI agent his heart drop n soul was taken
Poor Chrissy ! How much betrayal can he take ?!
Awesome scene!
I never saw Christpher so unhinged, he was seeing himself buried alive in the woods.
Re-watched this series about 6 months ago and realized how phenomenal it was. Definitely ahead of its time. Great writing and terrific actors.
Michael Imperioli is so good in this scene. You can feel Christopher exploding internally, a million thoughts of how he's incriminated himself via Adriana over the last year, the heavy breathing. Much underrated actor.
5:39 That’s the Al Pacino I’M ABOUT TO BEAT YOU KAY face… 😵💫
The whole show was purely hypnotizing
5:30 reminds me of that scene in Goodfellas where Jimmy asked Henry to perform a hit and the movie freezes. Then Henry says, with certainty, that he knew Jimmy would kill him. At 5:30 the look on Christopher’s face said - ‘I love her, but for this there is no coming back’. Adrianna was naive, and thought Christopher cared more about her than the Mafia but he didn’t. Later in life, Christopher would resent the Mafia and realised Adrianna really cared about him. Then his own death by Tony’s hands. It’s a tragic story.
Jimmy walking in there with a ten gallon hat covering a video recorder with a big hole right in the front. 😂😂😂
