Klopp with a horrible, disgusting set of substitutions again cost us the game. Our defence is utter sh*te!
Carra hit the nail on the head when he said that would not happen to Man City or Arsenal. Why we can’t manage a game properly and see it out I’ll never know. Mac Allister is not a 6 ffs stop playing him there.

Disgraceful! Klopp leaves Macca on who was clearly struggling and cost us the 3 points! Can’t wait for the season to end. We have definitely overachieved this season.

Endo should have stayed and Macca should have been the one subbed off. Mac Allister as a 6 is a good option only when we are in search of the goal and have all the control of the possession. In a game like that - it was stupid to play him there. I feel like we didn't replace Milner, Henderson and Fabinho because we miss players like them(from their prime versions ofc not from the last season). Because these type of players bring the balance. Now we have good attacking midfield options but can't control the game completely. The only dm we have is Endo who is good but I think we need a world class defensive midfielder. Bajcetic is talented but the injury really cost him a lot and I'm not sure if he is ready to be a regular part of the first team squad from the next season. Let's see till then but I have the feeling he might need a loan spell in a team like Leicester
I will be more impressed if Slot can get these players to be more stingy conceding than scoring lots of goals. You can win games 1 - 0 if you are committed to defending well for 90+ mins.

@@owenlee3771 that was charity farewell subs. He wouldn’t do that in a champions league final but you do it there. 70th minute. That’s too early when they add on 10+ nowadays. We were comfortable. But anyway I still love Liverpool but we need be real

I know the game meant nothing but it is insanely frustrating how we KEEP letting teams back in the game. Multiple times this season. Blowing a 3-1 lead with 10 min to go is unacceptable, dead rubber game or not. We are incapable of seeing out a game anymore. Once the quad subs were made, I knew we were in trouble. Too many subs at once disrupts the flow of the team.

End of an era. Thank you, Mr Kloppo. Hope the new regime has a better defensive structure cause the high line is done for me. Also, as you said, a new set piece coach. We lack imaginative and creative set piece plays. When I see lower ranked teams with almost cheeky, smart set plays from the training ground routine that led to goals, I'm envious. Be playful and cheeky with set plays. Onwards!
The defence looked shakey throughout the game. LFC ball retention was poor. Slot has got a big job on his hands for next season. Some good offensive play to get the goals but can't keep leaving back door open. There may well have to be serious Upheaval next season so the manager can sort out the wheat from the chaff. It is a shame but the wheels have come off the bus 😮😮
City and arsenal have kept up there winning ways and we have folded like a pack of cards tvis past month. Since first team have come back we have been shocking. Should have stayed with the kids. Nothing more to play for. See you guys in august

Klopp destroyed the squad last season. He'd apparently turned it around for this one... on top/in contention fpr over 75% only to fall at the last hurdle. AGAIN!
It's not imposter syndrome. We've won it before. We were there on merit and weren't reliant on other teams to fail. But klopp once again showed us his shortcomings. His inability to manage a squad rotate BEFORE injuries happen etc etc.
Should we have been? HELL YEH!

Really disappointing result. Fed up with Klopps tactics and setup for ages. been poor defensively for 2 seasons now. Need to look at Arsenals back line and adapt/mold the back line. Need to be stingey with goals. Miserly. It will make a huge difference over 38 games. Will need to spend money in transfer, else got a bad feeling we might be mid- table next season. We can’t defend well and we are not clinical. Poor. Arsenal/Man City feel like way accomplished sides than us.
I think when Klopp first came, the gegenpressing and high line was absolutely lauded. When he got the right, fresh, quality players to do so, we did excellent. He was praised all around Europe and rightly so. But over the years, like how coaches study each other's games, Klopp's tactics have been found out unfortunately. Just 2 months ago, his subs and our game winning ratio after the 2nd half was very good, but we can't always rely on miracles. Now even "miracle subs" have eluded him.
It's the perfect timing to go, however much I forever love the man.
Who can make the 1-3 to 3-3 the last twenty minutes …. And Keeping the useless salah in again …. Only klopp can do that
