Two things! The NYX Butter Blushes just launched on the NYX website for $10 each. I’ll keep you posted once they are at Ulta. Also, Natasha Denona just released the Hy-Glam Powder Foundation. It looks like it’s coming to other retailers tomorrow too though. It comes in 36 shades for $55, which feels like a lot for a powder foundation. It does look nice in the videos I’ve seen but essence and elf make two of my favorite powder foundations so I think I will skip this ND release for now. I’m still waiting for the liquid Hy-Glam Foundation because the concealer is one of my favorites…it has to be next!
Natasha said that she is working on the hygen liquid foundation, so hopefully soon!

Never had anything against dupe products in the past. With the cost of living these days...food, rent, utilities, gas, insurance, etc...you better believe I have no problem at all paying less for a dupe product. Can't even remember the last time I bought a high-end anything. Maybe 2018. You do what you gotta do!!
Yeah but its not fun anymore when brands make it obvious what theyre duping and copy names and packaging. Before there was sm yt videos where people hunt for them and they werent purposely duping it was a coincidence.

Very true! Makeup prices are getting outrageous and it’s hard to justify when you can find amazing quality at the drugstore.
Couldn't agree more. I fell like, if there's no copyright or pattern infringement, it's OK. I have less and less money so if I want a beauty product, paying less is now a major factor in my decision process.

The blushes of RB, I wish they don't have their minis as limited editions, since the full-size is too hard to be finished off in its shelf life, especially when you want to try different blushes.

Im oldrr, Im not wearing blue, purple, hot pink, but I would wear a light pink matte. That eye shadow pallette is my worst nightmare. 😮 Ill try the NYX lip products and powder blush.
I'll have to sniff the CT perfumes. Im not big on bottle style. I dont display them. 🤷♀️

I have oily skin but I love a dewy finish. I have a couple of foundations that are a bit too matte for my liking and I like the elf dewy setting spray on top of those! But I do agree that it’s too oily for really anything else
I need to try it with the Fenty Pro Filt’r matte foundation! I feel like that could be a good combo.

Ugh i have so many fenty fails which sucks cus i love rihanna but the other foundations were horrible on me, concealer horrible, loose powder too, the brand new concealer was superrr drying on me. In fact all of those products were so drying on me. What is in them?! I like the cream bronzer fine but revolutions is better. Powder bronzer is just meh ok i have drugstore. I still love the glosses tho and the eaze tint.
I own the Kayali yum pistachio and Lychee and I love them especially the yum pistachio so I’m definitely interested in the new fragrance but I want to wait on some reviews and pick it up at Sephora.

8:05 I love the butter glosses! But I don’t really care for the new butter bronzer. It just looks too orange on me. I might try the butter blushes when they come out.
I do wish the bronzers were actually more on the rosy side like they look in the promo photos!

thoughts on dupes: they’re not doing innovative trends, just overall listening to the overall public popular opinion. however, i think the increase in dupe is correlated to the rate of inflation

I’m all for dupes. I think it’s a great way to offer an alternative to people who just cannot afford the more luxury product. However, when every brand does their own version, it gets so boring. It’s like who cares anymore?
I have the Kay Ali pistachio everyone raved about it well the smell not good at all
Nobody ever mentions Sheglam makeup and it's really pretty good IMO.

There's nothing wrong w dupes. If a company wants to patent or trademark something they can do so. If they choose not to then I'm not worried about protecting their intellectual property if they aren't.

Don't like the NYX Butter Glosses. They're too thin and there's no staying power. Personally, I love dupes. Especially when the formulas are better than high end.

That’s how I feel. I honestly don’t think that dupes cost high end that much in sales because if someone is buying Drunk Elephant they’ll probably continue despite cheaper options being available.
ALSO! I think a cool video might be one talking about 90s/00s makeup they should bring back, leaning into the millennial nostalgia idea. maybe poll your viewers for their input too! I think it'd be fun. I'm 37 and in about 9th grade I had this AMAZING Bonne Bell "Gear flip gloss" 😍 It's really silly how much I want elf or someone to do them!! 🥺 They had clear colorful packaging like those apple computers and a little slider thing to push the product up. I had a clear vanilla one in a light blue package.

Personally CP missed the mark on the Beauty and the Beast collection - they should've done more fun stuff surrounding the rose and incorporated the characters better. It's one of my favorite Disney films (I was Belle for Halloween when I was little!) and I was initially excited but it's not for me. Another neutral palette with a pop of blue 🥱
I feel like all of their Disney palette are so similar. 😭 Leaning into the rose theme would have been so fun. Someone mentioned a mirror too and I think that would have been perfect!

CT is all about magic, and the fragrance bottle is meant to resemble an old school alchemist ‘potion’ bottle. So I personally see the CT signature connection magic and potion bottles- that’s CT if u ask me. I bought the CT discover set, I’m curious to try a fragrance that was partially engineered using AI. Let’s see! Went on market today.

I'm not in the market for makeup but Beauty and the Beast was a fave for me when I was little (Though Aladdin will always be No.1 hands-down!!) Anyway. I remember really loving Lumiere when I saw Beauty and the Beast in theatres. Idk if they have one, but a lil highlight with him on the packaging might just get me! the Millennial nostalgia is STRONG! 😮💨
