I have shoulder-length hair and purchased the sephora hair sets for the last couple years and found them all to be an incredible value. Maybe 1 or 2 products are gifted out, but in general, the set lasts me a solid year, therefore making it a fairly inexpensive hair care routine. I wash my hair 2x per week with shampoo(purchased separately) and use the products in the kit for conditioner, masks, etc...and when I find a product I love in the set, I usually purchase a full size later on. Happy shopping ladies!

Tarte has gotten so much better within the last year! The pallets are for sure an overemphasized value, but the price is still good for 3, 8 shadow pallets, I might grab it.. but the massive lip package is coming home with me!
I love a face palette and wanted to get the hourglass last year but missed out. I already received it this year and used it today. I bought the dragon and have fair skin and it is perfect.

This is how i used to calculate things to determine whether i wanted to gift the gift sets for my friends in christmas when i was on a student budget. The tartes laughable value is so true not their first time doing so. Other brands like too faced ive seen that as well hahaha
Tarte saying their palettes are worth essentially the price of a Pat McGrath palette made me laugh out loud. Like I agree with you. Their shadows aren’t bad but they aren’t PM good!
I bought the Kosas blush set after watching one of your videos and I love it. The three bushes are in beautiful shades and even as minis they are quite a substantial size and will take me forever to use up. Definitely worth it! Thanks for breaking it down.
I bought the hourglass palette on the deepest complection colors and I totally lived it ( it was kind of my own birthday present for myself ❤ I always wanted one) I'm light to medium but really loved that color palette and it is pretty manageable since you can sheer the product down ❤ I'm really happy, always wanted one
Thanks for doing these Re the hourglass palette, I wouldn’t use all the powders so yes not worth it for me. I have the mini bronzer which I’ll still never finish and I love the project but it is very hard to fit a bronzer brush in that mini, especially when you want to swirl and get a good mix of the marbleized one I have.
I’m the one who loves the mini lip balms because I feel like I can’t get through a full size 😂 if I feel the price is decent, I’m grabbing it. I probably will pick up the mini set from Summer Fridays. Only set I’m interested in ❤
I decided to buy the Hourglass Veil loose powder mini, just to try it out. I don't use a lot of powder, so it has lasted SO long. I did discover that the Elf Halo Glow powder looks the same or better on my skin, so I won't be repurchasing it....but I'm glad I bought the mini size!

I just got an email from tarte for the 10 piece set. I only have one of them already and I had $25 in rewards so I snatched it up. I own some of the originals, and plumping, and a liner and love them all. So with my discount I got them for $7.50 each. Which is less than drugstore prices! So excited to get a 'good deal'. Makeup prices are getting out of control so I have really tightened the reins on my purchases and only buy things I really want and think I will love.
Love these videos. Sol De Janeiro every year has terrible value sets. When you add in the 10-20% off for the savings event, it makes it a little better. a little. Their minis really are grossly marked up. I think the same thing when I buy the jumbo shampoo/conditioners! Makes the normal ones feel like overpriced minis.
😊I love the Tarte sets because they are good value for the quality of the products. Tarte has really updated their eyeshadow quality the last 2+ years and has some very sparkly or foiled shades. The mattes are so easy to use. I love all their powders and lip products 😊don't know why they make up some of these crazy values 😅

To each their own, but I don't understand that people actually spend $36,- on a lip balm! Even the set price, $55,- for two of them, is utterly ridiculous to me. It's a lip balm! This intire lip balm hype train is not for me, I just don't understand it.
I basically wasted my money on the Hourglass Elephant palette. It became hard panned real fast on me. Now last year I went for the Snaks palette because of all the new shades. I picked the Owl to put it in. I love that palette. Not interested in buying anymore.

hi how does the patrick starr one size foundation work with the regular milk makeup hydro grip? and how does the makeup by mario powder compare to huda beauty? is one more blurring than the other?
I actually didn’t have great luck with the Patrick Starr foundation and any sort of gripping primer! For some reason, it makes the foundation cake up and apply unevenly so I definitely prefer it with a smoothing primer. The Makeup by Mario powder is even more blurring and lighter weight than Huda but Huda is longer lasting and definitely more mattifying!

They have people dedicated to this kind of thing working for them to engineer and price these products, so they def know what sells. These are meant for your average consumer, so even though you may not see value in it, consider who it may actually be aimed at.
Am I the only person who LOVES the toofaced lip injection plumping liners? The shade puffy nude is PERFECTION. I haven’t heard one person say they like them. I know it’s off topic.

I always wear it up but not usually when I’m filming! My filming days usually line up with hair washing days so that’s when I have extra time to actually curl it for the next few days.
I really really really really really really would appreciate if you would try the Maybelline define a lash in the lime green cylindrical tube on your channel. I have been using this since the early early 90s. I still to this day have not found a mascara that's as good as what this is. It does not clump it leaves your lashes very long it doesn't smudge it leaves them full I'm telling you you absolutely love this mascara and it is ultra black. I don't know if they have a brown I don't use Brown mascara but I'm telling you you will not be disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please try this mascara!!!!!!! Again it's one that that's in the lime green cylindrical tube they have another one that has like a weird shape to it that's not it. It's just a regular plain old tube. You have a really hard time finding it in the store but I know you can order it off of Amazon it is only $7.99!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! I will be watching as always hoping to see you try it
Ahhh I would totally try it because it sounds amazing but I only use cruelty-free beauty products and Maybelline isn’t considered cruelty-free! 😭 If they end up going cruelty-free, I will definitely try it out! 💗

I always wear it up but not usually when I’m filming! My filming days usually line up with hair washing days so that’s when I have extra time to actually curl it for the next few days.

I really really really really really really would appreciate if you would try the Maybelline define a lash in the lime green cylindrical tube on your channel. I have been using this since the early early 90s. I still to this day have not found a mascara that's as good as what this is. It does not clump it leaves your lashes very long it doesn't smudge it leaves them full I'm telling you you absolutely love this mascara and it is ultra black. I don't know if they have a brown I don't use Brown mascara but I'm telling you you will not be disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please try this mascara!!!!!!! Again it's one that that's in the lime green cylindrical tube they have another one that has like a weird shape to it that's not it. It's just a regular plain old tube. You have a really hard time finding it in the store but I know you can order it off of Amazon it is only $7.99!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! I will be watching as always hoping to see you try it
Ahhh I would totally try it because it sounds amazing but I only use cruelty-free beauty products and Maybelline isn’t considered cruelty-free! 😭 If they end up going cruelty-free, I will definitely try it out! 💗
