    I love the bias technique. I have a bunch of my father's old ties that I use as bias so that I have a part of him in my clothes.

    Love! Also love the matching top and bottom trend, because it makes our silhouette appear taller and slimmer. I see the top fashion designers are continuing this trend into 2024 - I’m here for it.

    Lovely jacket! Looks good with the pants especially with the jacket open so you can see the contrasting color underneath.

    Oh Karina! That is so inspiring. I LOVE what you have made with the Coda pattern, again! I love how my Coda quilted jacket turned out and have worn it heaps! Added a dart and made it longer, thank you for showing me how! So, it now makes sense to do a linen jacket with a collar now that I have a pattern that fits me just fine.

    That jacket is fabulous! I actually like that a lot more than the basic Coda pattern. The contrast binding is a wonderful little touch, it makes it look more upmarket. The jacket coordinates so nicely with the skirt & pants. This is going to be an exciting week on your channel 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
    When i do contrast bindings, facings, waistbands or pocket bags I call them ‘buried treasure’. They always make me smile when i catch a glimpse of them 😊

Me podrías dar algunas sugerencias.

      Para forrar es solo replicar los moldes pero con tela de forro y los facings con la tela principal. A mi me gusta coser el forro a la basta a mano y se deja más largo. Te mando un link para que veas cómo lo hago ruclips.net/video/Arf1SuCSCv8/видео.htmlsi=M_iE_DmWti1cpApE

    Hope your husband didn't love that shirt, 😊
    I was wondering why you don't use a double needle. Great video

    • @LiftingPinsandNeedles
      @LiftingPinsandNeedles  Год назад +3

      I really dislike the look of the double needle on wovens. The distance between the needles is never wide enough to look nice. Also, it’s impossible to pivot and the seam is weaker. For firmness, I prefer sewing two rows. I only use the twin needle to hem knits.
