Vitamin c is an active ingredient, Glycolic acid is a chemical exfoliant and then you go in with the physical exfoliant too, all of this is way too harsh to be used all at once and will lead to over exfoliation

First off, this is the first video I've seen you with your natural eye color - you're gorgeous!!! And without your makeup? You look like you're about 12 years old. My God you've got the best skin - I really need to dupe your skincare routine!!! (Oh, we need the Aldi Lacura line here in the US - we've got a couple of feeble attempts at skincare but nothing like you've got there. I'm jealous!!!)
Superdrug do a Vitamin E hot cloth cleanser and a brightening hot cloth cleanser and they’re both brilliant. Really reasonable, usually on 3 for 2 or another offer. I have dry, sensitive and eczema prone skin and I don’t use anything else to clean my skin now- I am going to give this a go though! Xx
The beautifying serum is honestly my favourite product, I’m nineteen but it works wonders for spots & pimpels!! Go through about a bottle every two weeks😂😂😂
I've been using the aldi day cream for over 2 years now and I wouldnt use anything else, it doesnt ball up on my skin like it did yours though, although I have realy sensitive skin I havnt had a dry breakout since using this cream atall, I'm nearly 30 and I still get asked for my id all the time so it must be working in the anti aging department too 😄
@@rachelperson-brookrealtor9617 there are a lot of US products we can't get in UK or are extremely expensive to buy with taxes, import duties etc. There are many great alternatives and U S you tubers who promote products in your country. Its refreshing to find products here that we can get!!
Frances Hankins oh I get it! I used to live in Manchester. I understand totally. It’s just a bummer. I want the pixi! dupes specifically bc the originals are so expensive and while I will spend the money on them, I’d love to try the Aldi version too if we had them here!
When it says to avoid contact with eyes it just means try not to get it on your eyeballs. It’s fine to use on the skin around the eyes and the lids, just don’t try to cleanse your eyeballs.
Steph, anything with SPF and sunscreen itself: after application it is not meant to be moved for, ideally 20 mins, because it needs to set and create the protective film on your skin. That's why it balls up :) But yeah add that to your daily routine... No makeup, no touching of the face. Hope you see this. It's a game changer.
The hot cloth cleanser works sooo nicely if you rub it in the way you did then ditch the muslin cloth use a flannel and wet it in hot water... Place it over your face til it cools down and then the same as you did take the cleanser off and splash face with cold water to close pores again. It makes youre skin feel amazingand cleans your pores out =) x
Avon is absolutely terrible, as a company and a make up line- not pigmented, chalky, dry & even their best products are just average. Don’t waste your money.
I'm 47 and I use the pink clay scrub once or twice a week, I use the toner everyday along with nip and fab dragons blood fix daily cleansing pads (I couldn't get my hands on the aldi ones) and loreal fine flowers cleansing cream/balm and my skin looks and feels so good and in my opinion I look younger and better than before. I've had days where ive been in a rush so only used the pink clay scrub and toner sometimes even just the scrub and those days my skin doesn't look any worse off for not using the rest of what I use. I tried an Aldi serum (not the one on this vid) cant remember what its called but I didn't like it, to me my skin felt greasy and I don't like that so I stopped using it and went back to my nip and fab no needle fix serum. I have the hot cloth cleaners but haven't tried them yet but after this vid I'm looking forward to using them instead of my Loreal and see how that goes. I also have the mask but again not tried that yet. Before starting using all my Aldi products my pores were quite large and foundation looked horrible over them without using a really good expensive pore primer like the Benefit pore one and the Tarte Timeless one, but now after I changed my skin care and started using my Aldi products I don't even need to use those primers as my skin, especially my pore size, is now so much better the pores don't show so much. I did try one of their moisturisers but didn't like it as it made my skin feel greasy but I gave it to my 75 year old mum who has been suffering with very dry skin patches and she said after the first time of using it her skin was so much better. I wouldn't say I have an oily skin at all and I don't normally have that greasy feel with moisturisers or the serum I use so I went back to them. The only issue I have with the products is my Aldi store had those products in for less than a week from when they was released and haven't had them back in since other than the serum and moisturisers which I don't like or should I say that didn't go well with my skin type as they worked well for my mum and I must admit they did smell nice so they aren't a bad product just not for me. So conclusion is yes I would definitely buy the products again IF I could but it seems they aren't part of their everyday products, well not in my local store anyway. There was other skin items I wanted to get but they sold out in 3 days, I guess where I live we're all tight with our money lol. I should point out I have been using those products over the last few weeks (from whenever it was they came out) so they have been tested over time. I want them to bring out a good eye cream, one that will tackle the drooping skin and dark (black) circles under my eyes as I have yet to find a product that helps with that and I've used nip and fab, elemis and other well know brands that say they work on those issues but don't do anything for me. They are that bad that Tarte Shape Tape cant conceal them.
July 2020: I must say, I love the shape and thickness of your eyebrows. This way you’ve done ‘em perfectly to suit your face, Steph. I realise that in today’s current trend of having obese, hairy, 🐛🐛-brows is necessary in what you do, but it seems to me/anyone, that you have more space to play with eyeshadow. 💋
I love the glycolic pads and the caviar 3 min mask ; I 've also found some good stuff from Lidl, their Hydro range, but sadly it's a special so ran out but maybe they'll add it as a permanent range,it's brilliant. Aldi and Lidl do some smashing toilitries and skincare as well as lovely yet cheap food!
Is alcohol in face products bad? No way around that, it's simply bad for all skin types. ... Just to be 100% clear, there are other types of alcohols, known as fatty alcohols, which are absolutely non-irritating and can be exceptionally beneficial for skin. Examples you'll see on ingredient labels include cetyl, stearyl, and cetearyl alcohol.
Ive had the original Lacura hot cloth cleanse but it didn't compare to Liz Earl.....however that vitamin C one you tried looks delicious I will be trying that one. I also exchanged my clinique moisturiser for the Lacura caviar day cream, love it when you find a great cheaper alternative! Love your videos BTW x
Ooooh cleansing, then using an exfoliating pad, then using a scrub, then using a peeling mask. That is a lot of exfoliation which is probably what caused any stinging
I am in love with you recently....I think you are really genuine....I went off and buy everything my local aldi has:) donyou have a video with your skin care routine? I am really new to kake up and skin care and I don't know what to do, but I am documenting myself. Thank you for this video
Almost all of my skin care is from Aldi. My cleanser, toner and day moisturiser with SPF that I use every single day of my life are all from Aldi. I tend to stock up on the special buy stuff when I can find it. I also use that pink clay scrub and the glycolic pads whenever I need them.
Also I would say the day cream you used is absolutely amazing but only if you use it after just washing your face. If you put it over other products, that's when I tends to pill up.
I use the hot cloth cleanser on my eye make up too. Found the Aldi skincare range so good, the Pixie dupe toners are great. I missed out on a couple of items that I really wanted to try. Patiently waiting for their next beauty event & hoping they bring a lot of these things back!
I use the Q10 day cream and I apply it after I wash my face and I don't like how it sits on my skin so I get a damp cloth and lightly dab on my face and then I dry it
I am sooo jealous of the fact that your Aldi's sell this stuff. Here in the US, we don't have this kind of stuff. I need to reach out to Aldi USA and give this suggestion. I love your video's btw. Unlike a lot of YT people, you seem very real. Like if i met you in real life, you would be as you are are here. Thank you for that.
I have extremely sensitive skin I break out easily and spectacularly, I've used Liz earls products for years.one of the best products I ever used was a plump and lift and it was amazing.after that I was hooked not a single item has ever caused a break out the exact opposite as its always worked for me
I love watching your videos. I need to get to Aldi to pick up a few of these items. Also your strawberry headband reminds me of Too Faced peaches and cream 😀
Great video Steph. Next time you do any skincare dupe videos could you please include percentage comparisons, like if they had a percentage of a certain acid or whatever, just made me think when you mentioned the pixi glow tonic. Because some of those glow tonics are only 2% but pixi is 7 I think.. but if anyone wants to try that but not pay the hefty price tag.. the ordinary do the exact same thing with 7% for half the price or less xx
Have been round a shed load of Aldi stores trying to find a lot of the products you showed on your video, I have been stalking the place and getting in there for opening time and make up products are not anywhere to be found where I’m from in the UK...not a single piece of make up at all. I was desperate to try some of them and nope all disappeared. That Lacura Q10 is better than the dupe it is meant to be, much cheaper and feels bloody beautiful
Seaweed washes are amazing for blocked pores...I have a shed load of products I could recommend to you that you could test but I would have to include the page link on your video and you would have to contact Lisa who runs the page. The products are phenomenal
You may not be getting bad results from the manual scrubs because some people are just blessed genetically with more resilient skin that doesn’t break out much but later down the line once you start ageing you will start to see the bad results from the harsh scrubbing and the micro tears like you mentioned that may leave scarring too
I use skincare from beauty pie and the lacura caviar illumination anti age night cream and love love love it. I also use their wipes if I am away from home - 39p and amazing! We pay so much for our makeup and skin care because of advertising and store overheads. Cost per unit is actually very very low.
My mam swears by the Aldi caviar range and her skins amazing. I’ve just the Q10 range, didn’t like the day cream just cause of the balling up situation, but the night cream in the Q10 range is fab, calms down any redness I might have and my skin look great the next morning
Thank you for this video. By the way I have got the Caviar day cream and it’s just as good as the night one and has SPF 15. Also the Moisture Boost gel cream which is a dupe for Clinic 😊
I need go get some aldis stuff bfore all the good stuff is gone. I see everyone saying Charlotte tilbury is suing them..shoulda got that dupe while i could
Oh really.. I didnt even know they did online. No doubt steph has mentioned it before or someone else's video I've watched but I must of missed it and I've never checked for some reason. Thanks so much for your help x
It's very sad that she would sue them. Like she don't have enough money. But the truth is, is that Aldi stuff actually works and gives people a chance to be able to buy something without going broke. Even if I could afford her products I would never buy them because of what she is and does to the little guy. I mean it's not like they stole her ingredients and made it identical, truth be know she's butt hurt because it was probably better then what she made. Just remember, money is the root of all Evil...
@@Anonymous07164 I don't know, I just read it in their comments. I would like to try them also but here in ohio they don't sell make up or skin care products here. Wish that would change, around 8 to 10 yrs ago they sold a little make up and skin care but don't understand why they stopped.

I am in love with you recently....I think you are really genuine....I went off and buy everything my local aldi has:) donyou have a video with your skin care routine? I am really new to kake up and skin care and I don't know what to do, but I am documenting myself. Thank you for this video
❤️ I love you Aldi dupe videos 😍 happy Sunday!
Ur hairstyle with the makeup looks sooo nice!!! Stunninnnnn🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love the eyeshadow colour, really suits you!
Sorry but am I the only person interested in that lash glue? They were ON THERE 👍👍👍
Kellalizard duo lash glue :) xx
Absolutely love youuuu, so iconic always love seeing you in my notifications💛🥀
Have a nose on ebay people sell lacura on there including the original hot cloth cleanser which smells exactly like liz earle and the pixi dupes x
Yes needed this! Will defo be purchasing as many of these as I can! Thanks steph, fabby video!!❤️
can you do a skincare routine vlog or something because I'm always in awe of your skin😍😍😍😍
I use the Q10 day cream and I apply it after I wash my face and I don't like how it sits on my skin so I get a damp cloth and lightly dab on my face and then I dry it
WE LOVE THESE ALDI VIDEOS 😍😍
I am sooo jealous of the fact that your Aldi's sell this stuff. Here in the US, we don't have this kind of stuff. I need to reach out to Aldi USA and give this suggestion. I love your video's btw. Unlike a lot of YT people, you seem very real. Like if i met you in real life, you would be as you are are here. Thank you for that.
Right the Aldi's here in the US most definitely do NOT have ANY of these items but the most definitely should
I have extremely sensitive skin I break out easily and spectacularly, I've used Liz earls products for years.one of the best products I ever used was a plump and lift and it was amazing.after that I was hooked not a single item has ever caused a break out the exact opposite as its always worked for me
I love watching your videos. I need to get to Aldi to pick up a few of these items. Also your strawberry headband reminds me of Too Faced peaches and cream 😀
Can you please do an everyday and a night skin care routine with your favourite products💗
I wish America Florida to be exact had this makeup and skincare in our Aldi's.. im so jealous ❤❤
jennifer macrina same! They don’t sell it where I am in Massachusetts
We love an early gal #proudofmyself
Great video Steph. Next time you do any skincare dupe videos could you please include percentage comparisons, like if they had a percentage of a certain acid or whatever, just made me think when you mentioned the pixi glow tonic. Because some of those glow tonics are only 2% but pixi is 7 I think.. but if anyone wants to try that but not pay the hefty price tag.. the ordinary do the exact same thing with 7% for half the price or less xx
I've been using all of these products for ages.....much better than the original....dupe away Aldi
Steph have you ever used a liquid peel to get rid of all the dead skin on your face??
Seaweed washes are amazing for blocked pores...I have a shed load of products I could recommend to you that you could test but I would have to include the page link on your video and you would have to contact Lisa who runs the page. The products are phenomenal
I love these videos lol....my aldi sucks it has none of these products ☹️
Makeup Girls World go online xx
Sadie Kerridge depends. The US doesn’t have a website you can buy products off of unfortunately
Only recently found your channel, since I have, I’ve learned how to do my makeup 😂 one of my favourite channels x
I love Aldi skin care but I am a mature woman lol love watching your videos x
Omg steph love your makeup in this and hair
Can't wait to watch this!!
Always love your content xx
Ooh do an Aldi vs Asda vs Primark beauty/skincare
You may not be getting bad results from the manual scrubs because some people are just blessed genetically with more resilient skin that doesn’t break out much but later down the line once you start ageing you will start to see the bad results from the harsh scrubbing and the micro tears like you mentioned that may leave scarring too
I use skincare from beauty pie and the lacura caviar illumination anti age night cream and love love love it. I also use their wipes if I am away from home - 39p and amazing! We pay so much for our makeup and skin care because of advertising and store overheads. Cost per unit is actually very very low.
Don't quote me but I SWEAR I've seen Lacura in TK Maxx... Might be worth a look for the things you can't get hold of? 😍 xx
I see everyone saying Charlotte tilbury is suing them..shoulda got that dupe while i could
Freckin loving these dupe videos steph!!!! Xxx
I swear by aldi skincare my skins never looked better 😍
Claire Pockley I can never find anything in my Aldi.. except the Nivea dupe.. what’s your faves if you don’t mind me asking x
@@Laura-xz8kv have a look online on their site you can order items! Love the toner, hot cloth cleaner and the facial oil 😍 oh and the caviar eye gel
Oh really.. I didnt even know they did online. No doubt steph has mentioned it before or someone else's video I've watched but I must of missed it and I've never checked for some reason. Thanks so much for your help x
Did youbhear Charlotte Tillbury is sueing Aldi? You called it in your last Aldi dupe video lol
I just don’t why she hasn’t sued w7 as well, she’s just salty because you can get the same effect with the dupes as her overpriced stuff 😂👍🏻
@@BeautyChronicPain1 I hope Aldi releases the same products again but change the packaging this time. Salty ass money mongers can eat shit lmao.
Kim Sikorski why did she sue aldi? I didn‘t even know. Now i wanna try aldi‘s products lol
@@Anonymous07164 I don't know, I just read it in their comments. I would like to try them also but here in ohio they don't sell make up or skin care products here.
Wish that would change, around 8 to 10 yrs ago they sold a little make up and skin care but don't understand why they stopped.
Always excited for your videos! ❤️
I love the charcoal cleanser, smells so good!
Just when RUclips’s getting boring Steph uploads 💗💓
Omg you look so stunning with brown eyes!
Are you going to review the revolution conceal and hydrate concealer and foundation in the near future because I’m verrrry curioussss I wanna know what you think
Oh my God I love that eye look 😍
I love the nip & fab dupe pads! And I have about 8 other products. The cream to foam charcoal cleanser is amazing and I love the pink scrub too, that is just the scrub they still do the sand and sky dupe with the glass tub and brush, you just have to be quick. The dupe for pixi toner is great too.
P. S the pads sting like fook after you've shaved your face 🤦♀️
