Love the cast iron design. It holds up to heat better than the steel stuff you find on the market today, that's for sure. I see other manufacturers copying that round shape idea, which doesn't look like the conventional wood stoves of the past. I assume they are quite a bit more expensive too. Nice looking stove for sure!!
You could always fit an external Chimney and duct the exaust gases out of your home via same... also duct in the primary combustion air to the stove from outside .... this is what greatly increases the effeciency of saome stoves relative to outhers so that you arn't thowing ambient air in you home up the chimney.....
hi you say it does not get hot to touch. im interested in the morso 8150 with soap stone top and sides but worried its not hot enought for our home.35000 btu , is that cord btu or epa btu. i am replacing my old open fire place that we use all the time and want something that we will feel the heat sitting 10 to 15 feet away. hope you can answer and help. thanks shaun
GoldHustlin13 nope but we got the one with squirrels on the sides! The 1410. The kitchen gets hot and the living room is comfortable so I don’t feel it is to much for our house.
No. Currently all woodstoves, Morso or otherwise, require full venting past the roof line. Unvented gas stoves aren't the best idea anymore, as we are realizing the importance of indoor air quality. But, for wood especially, it may more work to install, and there's added expense, but it has to be done.

Which one is better the 1410 or 1440? My house is 925 square feet. It’s going into the kitchen.
You ever get an answer? My house is 850 sq ft?

GoldHustlin13 I could be wrong on the 1410 we got the one with the extra insulation so we didn’t need as much space because our kitchen is small!
My insurance man will never permit 4" clearance. Never. Regardless of make/model.
thank you very much for sharing
