So satisfying to see the illustration come to life with the 152 colors ! Maybe Crayola should hire you so you can create a coloring book with crayons for them. That would be amazing & way better than their coloring book options ;)
a heads up if you want t do more colorful stuff but dont want to just stick to rainbows: mexican culture! you can use a lot of colours in a dia de muertos setting, there are also mythical creatures called "alebrijes" wich are spiritual animals that have a lot of colours in them. i would really like to see an alebrije in your cute style, one of my favourites has to be the dragons, they always look amazing with all the different colours on their wings. thanks for the great video!.
ive seen a lot of kasey's videos where she tries a lot of different colours at one and she always ends up doing a rainbow, so i hope this comment helps her find inspiration for her next one.
Omg in art class last year we had to draw alebrijes and the teacher said my mine looked like trash and printed a picture of Donte (I think that’s how it was spelled) and told me to color it for a 100 💀💀
when she said she was gonna organize the colors i let out a sigh of relief, i love organizing art supplies and can't stand for them to be messy like they were before hehe
I almost want to think Crayola has stepped up their formula, because I don't think crayons worked this well when I was a kid. Maybe I just never liked using them, I always preferred colored pencils.
Not sure if it makes a difference in what your referring to, but Kasey tends to have a heavy hand with her crayons. When holding them more gently or as a kid with a weaker hand, they aren’t as pigmented and opaque.
152 colors! My first thought was a kid's birthday party with multi-colored balloons, cupcake icing, streamers, etc. but a rainbow shooting out of a rabbit's butt is another way to go, LOL. I'd say you succeeded with flying colors 😄
I remember when I was younger my foster mom had a massive plastic bag filled with crayons. I used to love coloring with crayons, especially while camping. The reason I remember it so much is because one day we forgot the crayons on the beach. Later that day I went to color and remember we forgot the crayons on the beach so I ran back to grab them. 😅😅 Basically all the crayons melted and stuck together so we had multicolored blobs. We still used them, it didn't really matter to us infact it made it alot more fun. When we grabbed a crayon we never knew which other color we would get with the color we wanted.
This came out so cute! My mom is a crayon obsessed person and the first thing I thought when you pulled out the caddy was oh no now she’s going to want that one too!
That is flat out epic. Love the dimensional quality of the hills and mushrooms. I wanna pet that gorgeous rainbow. Of course the bunny is adorable too. 💕❤️💕
Video concept: with an art supply that has names and make a doodle but you have to use the art supply colors in alphabetical order- I hope that makes sense
It might be a sensory issue! A lot of peoples enjoyment from using different art supplies comes from the sensory satisfaction you get from it! For example, one person might hate chalk because it’s dry, crumbly, and to them makes an unpleasant noise, while another person may love the sensation of scraping and scratching away. As for the wear, I agree with the other person who replied to this, it might be your paper!
Kasey your simple style is so easily made for complexity hidden in plain sight! So well done! Who is gonna believe you used so many different colors to blend the rainbow unless we see how you create your amazingly simply complex drawings right before our eyes! Keep creating those crayon creations! Who says year of the crayon is done?
"All I Really Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten" has a chapter about crayons & world peace. Since reading it, #2 son has sent me Crayolas on Mother's Day & my birthday for 20 years. I have this box & am pretty sure you do not have the illustrious "Blueberry" crayon. I have an extra if you would like for your collection. I have loved all your crayon videos.
Watching your videos makes me want to pursue drawing as a hobby again! The only problem is I don’t know where to get inspiration, but seeing everything you do makes it look so fun to start again. :)
I know the year of the crayon is kinda over but I am shocked you didn't try the adult version of a crayon. It's called Distressed Crayon and I believe they are sold at like Hobby Lobby and on Amazon? They are super creamy and would love to see you try them!
This is awesome it shows how talented of an artist you are that you made this work. That sky and shading on the mushrooms and mountains is so lovely!! And the fog is so cool
I'm glad the bunny is really happy, having the rainbow shoot out of it's butt :) This turned out so lovely and rich, I love how you blend by creating a rough edge and bringing the darker colours up into the older colours.
I very rarely use my crayola crayons because of all that crayon wax dust that they produce but gosh I still want this set anyway just for all those pretty colours! There’s something about seeing a giant box of crayons that just really gets me in the drawing mood
Very interesting to compare something simple and cartoony like this using 100+ crayons versus someone trying to make a more realistic landscape using 100+ markers. The colour sorting is always a toss up between satisfying and unsatisfying. It's unsatisfying when you can see colours that should clearly move to a different spot, but I know that's time consuming.
@@RandomIyProductions 😂 sorry, without context that sounds weird. Crayola (crayons, markers, little crafts) are mainly targeted towards a younger audience. I basically just meant that kids tend to like potty humor. The ol' "HA, you said doody" kind of stuff.
I think i remember crayola and im thinking my 1# favorite crayola crayon color is dandelion im just asking cause i dont think we had enough yellows for sunshine
It would have been nice if you had the counting thing in the corner like in the 350(?) something video where you used over 300 markers ^^. But I love the art you did ❤️❤️❤️ such an inspiration
This was Strathmore mixed media! Sometimes I just use whatever I have around, haha. Not too slick, but it too much texture (it’s hard for the crayons to get in the grooves)!
@@KaseyTheGolden amazing - you got me in to crayons but I’ve been struggling to find the perfect paper. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! ☺️💕
i'm not sure if it's your scene, but if you ever decided to make something will all the crayon shavings you make i think that'd be cool! maybe like one big crayon or a candle or something!
As a Preschool Teacher, the container is perfect to put in the middle of tables for easy access for kids. It's genius

i would definitely buy a kasey coloring book‼️🙀

Oooo yes. Kasey's style in an Alebrijes would look really cool

Yeah, lots of different cultures use many different colours in their traditional things, it’d be interesting to see her try exploring some
when she said she was gonna organize the colors i let out a sigh of relief, i love organizing art supplies and can't stand for them to be messy like they were before hehe
So did i
Same I thought I was gonna have to be tormented by the non organized carrier😭
Same omg!
same here
This turned out great! I love the 3D look to the mushrooms.
Totally agree with the mushrooms!

You say “a little extra” , more like- super impressive!!! Your swatches are so nice 🥺💜
Video concept: with an art supply that has names and make a doodle but you have to use the art supply colors in alphabetical order- I hope that makes sense
So like a rainbow red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, the first color would be blue?
This art is so impressive! I love the way the background looks.
Every time I want to use crayons- I end up giving up because they either wear down too quickly or I hate the feeling-
They wear down too quickly?! I didn’t have to sharpen a single crayon this entire video. 😳
The kind of paper you use is probably contributing to the wear. More texture will hold more product and need more to cover the white underneath.
I write / color too hard with them and they break

The swatching was SO satisfying!!!! 💙💙💙 The final piece is super cute!!!

uhh it'd be nice to make colourful comets with these crayons!!!
you inspire so much kasey 😊😊
I was just watching your crayon playlist last night! Thank you for another great video. Can't wait for the next one. I hope you're doing great
Gosh I love these crayon videos. Kasey's style is so detailed, even when the shapes are simplified!
I would not have the patience to name and swatch all of these. Bless your soul tbh

This is awesome. Your dedication to showing and demonstrating the product goes way beyond extraordinary.

Probably one of my favourite of your artworks
I have the same 152 crayola crayons
And I use them in my children's coloring books
I need a print of this! I love it so much!
When I saw the big paper, I knew this was gonna be good, and I wasn’t wrong 😍👍

What an awesome picture... Worthy of a frame 🌸💕🌸
Maybe you should make your own challenge cards😅😊✨IDK just an idea 😁
That's some fantastic swatching
Every crayon artist dream so much color 🎨
your videos help with my anxiety and sooth me to sleep. i love watching your videos
It’s like something the teacher would put in the center of a table in elementary school (the container)
I love the streaks of orange and yellow in the sky, they worked great!
outer space and eggplant are my favorite crayon colors
I love how fun it looks
This is awesome. In my opinion this is one of your best illustrations.
Omg Kasey has so many crayons
😂😂
I love the ✨texture✨
The hills and mushrooms is the best part!
Crayola needs to get their crud together and sponsor you ASAP!
I think I draw too many butts for their taste. 😂

I love this piece! ❤️😊👍 You really killed it.
I remember I had a very similar crayola thing when I was younger. Except mine looked like a fountain
Why is this the most satisfying color swatch yet?
i had this exact set when I was a kid, so this video is very nostalgic for me lmao
I hope the year Of the crayon never ends. These are so satisfying to watch.
*cries in Dandelion Yellow*
Anyways, cool video! The gradients you're able to make with crayons are always pretty cool, along with the textures.
it keeps me up at night that these things never arrive in rainbow order
Right?! 😂
I definitely think this is your best crayon illustration yet!
I’ve always felt like it was a cop out when they included the glitter and other fx crayons because the colors aren’t always different.

another thing that you could have maybe done was a unicorn casting a rainbow spell :)
I love your handwriting
REALLY strong Alice In Wonderland vibes from this one. I love it!
Mustards : at the end of yellow, just before green
Poop Greens : yellow-greens, so at the very start of green next to yellow

I love this picture, it's so CUTE and unique!! ☺️🥰
The best color swatch! ❤️
Have the same set but my spaceship part is yellow. 😊
rabbit with a cat's paw. cute animals combined
I’m surprised with all these crayons Kasey hasn’t tried the colors of the world crayons
this video didn't show up in my sub box wtf!! glad i came across it

so colourful!! fly bunny fly!
I love the sky!!
Love your art and videos!
You should do a drawing using up 1 entire crayon
Lol Kasey did her own version of the ohuhu challenge
Omg the amount of time it must’ve taken to complete this video, Kasey! You’re so awesome! ❤️
You ever done a melting portrait with crayons? They're lots of fun but it makes the room smell like crayons for a bit 😅
I did something adjacent to that… kind of a disaster. 😂
I just blew on my screen to get the crayon dust off of it, then realized it was in the video. 🙈
beforehand in Order 152 crayons forevermore ever seen
When I got this the glitter crayons had names
You should do extreme huevember with these.
^o^ omg that was way too much off colours.
It was cute and huge 🤓.
