    If I might add a little caveat, taking the secondary coil reading from the spark plug boot is fine if you get a positive result but an out of specs reading doesn’t mean you have a bad coil as the problem could be with the spark plug wire itself. Regards and thanks for the video !

      Or a bad connection at either end of a spark plug wire due to corrosion.

    Zero need to isolate the coils from the armature plate, because the windings are already isolated.
