as soon as the SWAT shows up then it's an almost guaranteed victory for the SFPD
Pretty much like real life it seems, SWAT shows up and it's over for someone.

There’s parts of Oakland where even SWAT can’t hold out without backup, around that big gang hideout in north Oakland there’s a good 20 or so 580s who spawn, and if they keep calling backup they can fight SWAT to a standstill

not gonna lie making the police and criminals fighting each other was the only reason I played that game

Though watch dogs 2 process is still much easier.

I really like the POV style of recording and the sparatic movements it really immerses you and makes it look like real life shoot out

Agreed! Gives it a "shootout news reporting" vibe, especially with the camera zooming in and out. Watch dogs can let you experience some pretty cinematic moments in the open world, which is why I love this game.

I wish games would let us use AI more effectively in battles because large scale AI battles have always been way more interesting in my opinion. Plus it's a lot more plausible in a game about building up a resistance or army, that the AI would be a lot more useful in games like that, instead of having to solo everything.
Get yourself arma 3 buddy you will love it, Vindictia and Overthrow are 2 of the mods that sound like what you are looking for.

Watch dogs A.I. is actually pretty cool! They duck and find cover like they're afraid to get shot which makes it seem pretty realistic
Yeah bro, and on real life are same to the police and the criminal are going search for the cover to not getting shot
The only problem is that they throws grenades way TOO often

@Sickotato Watch Dogs NPC and AI is on par with GTA 4/V. What GTA does excel at is physics simulation, all courtesy to the Euphoria engine.

Yeah, the first time I realized some random stuff was on going (or things I as the player didn't cause) I was hooked into this game. Love it!
@@namedoesntmatter9330 yeah same i was just walking around in Oakland when i heard gunshots. It turned out to be a guy with a bike who shot some pedestrian.
Random crimes kept the world so fresh. Wish GTA would've implimented more of that.
3 types of police in video games
LSPD: hyper aggressive for no reasons. Idiots with a ton of fire power.
SFPD: more realistic. Effective and fairly smart. Still sometimes aggressive.
Spiderman PD: effectively useless but friendly

I remember spending hours just calling NPC cops and gangs to fight each other. One of my favourite features of Watch Dogs 2.
The first time I called a gang hit on a random homeless man (profile showed he had HIV) I died laughing as a team of Bikers drive up all cool, did a driveby and took off, I lol for so long, the rest is history. Such a fun game.

Watch Dogs 2 far surpasses Watch Dogs Legion in textures and dynamic camera, greening the environment by far. WD Legion gives me depression, it doesn't feel the same energy, WD Legion was supposed to have surpassed 2 but it only backed down on the good it had just to want to be "unique"
Yeah it’s sad , I wished they improved on the foundation of this game and polish it for a great 3rd game, instead we jus got a stupid recruit system.

It makes sense in gta5 that they'd die very quickly to any gun in that game but its really stupid in watch dogs 2 that they literally absorb bullets

in GTA they realistically stumble when getting shot, but in WD they recover from shots way too quickly.

@@MrNationalWonder Plus the second officer actually nails him around 17 to 18 seconds in. So yeah irl shootout either ends there or ignoring that, the first officer dies and the second finishes. Pretty realistic tbf given they were taken completely by suprise. I know I'm overanalyzing but the first minute is probably how a real shootout would go if there's no quick access to rifles.

Tbh I like the phone recording way better than up in the air recording. It seems more lively, if that makes any sense.

I’ve always loved Cop Vs Gang battles, and the occasional Gang vs Gang battles in Watch Dogs Legion 2. I remember I’d spent hours in eastern San Fransisco having the max gang enforcer pull a hit near SWAT who in turn are near multiple gang hideouts. Sometime I’d even get involved either intentionally or not. Good fun!

There is a mod called WD2 script hook, you can spawn vehicles and civilian NPCs with it, it is similar to gta5 in game trainers.
