IMO WD1 has the most realistic vehicle pursuits. iirc I read somewhere that police irl in most places will actually try to refrain from doing PITS in towns and cities, as well as when there’s nearby traffic.
So far, I could say that Watch Dogs 2 has the most realistic police behaviour for the whole WD Series (Which is pretty obvious, Ubisoft did a good one on WD2).
I noticed that each Watch Dogs game the SWAT team looks less like a SWAT team in the first game they wore helmets and vests. In the second game they wore vests and caps. There was no SWAT team in the third one
It's because they're mercenaries they're not the actual police there but later in the game they start getting tuffer and will wear heavy armor and helmets looking like special forces

@@rogueraccoon1840 that's true and you make good points I agree with all of them. You got to agree with me on this though. They never fill their armored police vehicles always two guys never a full team. I just wish they would do that.
Kinda wished the SCO19 would hunt you down in WD Legion! I mean, after you've completed WD Legion's story, Albion pretty much lost its public trust to serve as a law enforcement agency, so I was hoping the Metropolitan Police would return, retaking Albion's place...
I like WD1 chases and police the most, especially CTOS scans and search areas because that felt more like what I'd expect from cops IRL and what they do. In WD2, GTA and so many other games, the cop cars conveniently spawn in front of you as soon as youre about to escape
The guy is back, as always, with another great video. Keep up with the good work! I've even played WD1 on my X360, I've always had a lot of fun engaging the police in combat. They are extremely unbalanced after Act 2, especially 3+, as SWAT spam becomes an issue. But, I think this is one point that WD has above GTA, a more "complex" wanted system, and more challenging and fun-to-fight cops.
In Watcdogs Legion, if you fight Albion only unarmed, even in pursuit 5 (max pursuit, they won’t shoot you down. Chase and Riot drones will be sent, but won’t hurt you unless you either run or pull your gun out. Then the counter terrorism drones join the fight. However if you do manage to lose the melee fight, you will be arrested, but yet in the operative’s bio, it’ll say that you’ve evaded maximum pursuit, despite having been arrested XD. I love that game, despite people saying otherwise
I feel like that's less of a realism thing and more to do with them trying to shove that garbage melee system down our throats. It's stupid as crap as even armed gang members suddenly believe in a fair fight and won't shoot you unless you do it first.
@@NuStiuFrate well I mean they’re British… . They’re way too cocky, and they’d never shoot unless you’re outnumbered three to one. Not to mention that they never shoot you unless they see you with your gun out. Then they’d shoot you

Still like WD1 more than WD2. I love to play in it for the camera, background music, the city, police that look like they trying to dispatch crazy maniac during shootout and all that, and for Aiden obviously.
In Watch Dogs 2, some vehicle patrol officers (nearly 2) carry Goblins. They're usually spawns at 3 heat level. But if you're in building or unreachable area, game spawns foot cops and they're always armed with Goblins. Best example for this situation, getting wanted level at Alcatraz. Same thing happens on Umeni-Zulu officers. Vehicle officers always armed with shotgun and micro smgs, except elites and enforcers. But again, if you're in building or unreachable area they'll respond with Goblins.
All games are realistic but when the police are running after the criminal, they will never go lethal unless it is necessary. The same logic applys to pursuits, after the car is stopped, unless escalated by lethal force, its usually non-lethal.
I find it weird how WD2 Managed to get something right and wrong at the same time. It'd make sense for them to unholster their weapons when going in for a arrest on someone in a vehicle, due to the dangers the vehicle poses if they attempt to flee. But it makes 0 sense for them to open fire if you don't do anything.
Good job! But I think you forgot to show in the video the behavior and reaction of the police on the water. In wd 2 and wd 3 there are coast guard boats, there are tactics for prosecuting a criminal on the water.
