Snack pack in cans! Cadbury Creme eggs are still around. I remember those little boxes of Nabisco Chocolate Chip cookies. Those were good. And Zero candy bars. ASTRO pops!!!! Yes.
Caramilk was the Canadian name for the Caramelo (More accurately, Caramelo is the US version of the Canadian Caramilk, which came out first) . Space food sticks, chitchat crackers. chippers, shapies, Wampum chips, Sip n chips, kaboom, and Pik Chicks are the only ones no longer being produced. The other 10 items are still in production
How about Charlie's Chips in the can being delivered weekly???? The Charlie Chip man would take the empty tin cans and you'd get fresh new cans!!! We always had a can of salted chips, bbq and pretzels. My girl scout troop made sit upons with these cans!!
I remember space sticks, loved almost everything space when i was little. Sadly space sticks tasted bad. Imagine eating a sugar coated electrical cord, that was the taste of space stix.
Great video! It is always great going back and looking at the great snacks of the past. I’m sure I will watch this one over and over, you did a really great job!
I remember Starbursts, However, I also remember round corn chips called CHIPOS from Frito Lay but they weren't out very long. I think it was around 1963 or 1964.
Did they say "chickpea" flavor? I couldn't hear and thought, WOW!!! That was VERY far ahead!! I don't think I knew what a chickpea was until like 1985😂
@@michellejester9734 I heard them say "chickpea" too, but I've NEVER seen or even heard of those, and a Google search also comes up empty. I think someone must have been reading "chocolate" from poorly handwritten notes. As far as I'm aware, the only flavors they made were chocolate, chocolate malt, chocolate mint, caramel, peanut butter, and orange. I don't remember the orange ones personally, but I ate all the others.
Snack pack pudding had a commercial that took place at a swimming hole, with a cartoon lady riding a mixer and live action human kids. One of those kids was a certain Missy G. Yup, Melissa “Half-Pint” Gilbert, before she traded her bunches for braids and her kiddie-kini for calico.
I remember kaboom never tried it though. I used to like cinnamon plain pop tarts burnt now i think that they taste like cardboard. Never heard of corn diggers or dippy canoes.
We want BACK?????? - Almost half of the products you've mentioned have either never gone away or were brought back! Most can still be purchased at grocery stores, drug stores and/or department stores; things like "Bugles," and other items not mentioned in video like "Fiddle Faddle" and "Dad's" root beer, are still around -- these can typically be found at discount stores, such as "DOLLAR TREE."
Does anyone remember a popcorn snack called screaming yellow zonkers?
I don't think I ever ate Screaming Yellow Zonkers, but I remember seeing the commercials.
My mother loved them...
When it was introduced, it was called a "hundred-thousand dollar bar." It wasn't changed to a "hundred grand" bar until much later.
Thank you.
@TheSme0249, I remember when the name changed. I looked up the year and it was 1984.

Space food sticks were plenty of tasty. I used to take them in my school lunches.

I loved Space Food Sticks! Especially the chocolate and chocolate mint ones. They were a fixture at our house.

Around the 1980's, how about an Abba Zabba? Taffy with peanut butter in the middle.
Caramilk looks and sounds just like a carmelo bar. And we sell razzles where I work they still make them.
ive never heard it called anything else but "carmelo"...
Yeah, Razzles are still a thing in my area as well
Yep back when boys knew they was boys . They had stick shift an 2 ball bearings. An girls had a gerage to park it in 😊😂
I remember kaboom never tried it though. I used to like cinnamon plain pop tarts burnt now i think that they taste like cardboard. Never heard of corn diggers or dippy canoes.
I miss when food was real. No deadly chemicals or additives. What I wouldn’t do to go back and experience it all again.
I enjoyed your video! But it's NestLEES, not Nest-ulls. Brought back a lot of memories.
half this stuff is still available.
I want my TWIGS!
We still have Cadbury Caramilk here in the UK.
5 BELOW has most of these now
The names of half these snacks sound British
yum chemicals
i don't want these back
I don't remeber shapies.
The era of ultra processed junk food.
That would be the current era, with all the GMOs, artificial sweeteners, colours and all.
Space food sticks were nasty
Why did you put a racist product in a video about 'snacks we want back'??
Which was racist
