I just purchased in June 2019. A pre certified 2016 e350 with the AMG features. Didn’t have a clue as to how good/bad it would be. OMG this vehicle is outstanding, astounding. Honestly I’m beside myself regarding my decision. Every time I go to drive this beauty I can’t help but smile with pure joy.

I currently own this exact same model 3rd hand.. I have to admit the interior is quickly deteriorating and showing signs of age even though i'm so delicate with it.. the arm rest leather cracked and the mechanism of the sliding storage unit is faulty now its stuck... most of the buttons are chipped which is annoying :( sunroof mechanism also failed recently

Bought same car for a daily. It has sport package black exterior, interior, black amg wheels 101k miles for $13k. Never owned an german car before. I’m surprised how smooth this car rides. Gets me better mileage that my 4 cylinder wrx that averages 15mpg 🤣. Decided to get a w212 since this generation looks conservative or elegant as you mentioned not over stylish as the newer ones. This cars depreciate so much over the years, my 14’ wrx which was half the msrp new of this car is worth more to this date unbelievable.

My suggestions. If you haven’t owned a Mercedes-Benz. I strongly suggest an E class. First timers you won’t regret your decision. Personally I was very lucky to find an E350 w/sport AMG accents. Honestly I test drove a white w/black interior, wasn’t so impressed. For me the white w/beige interior. It’s classy, elegant, plenty pizzazz. Excellent sound system. Options galore. Very happy.

    Hi,
The E350 is an excellent vehicle.
However, the E250 Bluetec 4Matic is everything the E350 is with one important difference : Twice (2X) the fuel mileage, nearly a 900+ mile range at 50+ MPG. I just purchased an E250 4Matic and drove it up and down the Rockies from Salt Lake City Utah to Colorado Springs, Colorado, averaging 51 MPG. And yes, I do have pictures to prove it.
    Best, David

David Simmons I had a 2015 E250 Bluetec and I still have a 2011 E350. That Diesel kicks ass. That car is faster than my E350. By the way I used E250 for Limousine service. It’s a superb car. I put 128,000 miles on it in about 2 1/2 years.

Nice review, I got the 2015 E350 Sport in Alpine White. By far the best car I have owned. Also one of the best value when you are looking at preowned. Can pick one up certified pre owned from a MB dealer for 50% of new retail. I do not like the command center however, it’s just not user friendly enough in modern times. The option cost thousands so I am wondering why it cost so much when a $1000 iPhone can do so much much more. Way faster to use the phone gps and the voice recognition sucks.

I have a 2014 e350 Sport trim. Bought it coming off lease as a CPO in 2016. It had 14k miles when I bought it, has 79k now. Actually bought it from Walnut Creek BMW. I enjoy it, but it has not been trouble-free and I doubt I’ll buy another MB. I’ve spent thousands on things that should not break: driver seat cushion heater, motor for the tilt/telescope steering wheel, sensor for the hands-free trunk release, and have had to replace the auxiliary battery 3 times. It has an oil leak, and the dealer tells me the engine and transmission mounts are going bad. I’ve owned a couple of Acuras and drove them well over 200k miles without unexpected repairs.
