This is just a bit reminder for you guys who want to make the trident killing machine. When you make it like the video, the xp sometimes will stuck inside the hopper. If so, you can add a mud block or dirt path block on top of the hopper or use the exact design in the video, there's should be a hopper section on top of the hopper that faces the chest, replace that upper hopper with a path block or mud block, so the item will still enter the hopper but the xp doesn't get stuck again

lets to be honest its a perfect farm, i didn't see something like this before that they target to move toward fall off point in the matter of seconds after spawning it won't spawn spiders and it works non stop i made it with 8 layers and it works very well, i playing on ps5 a perfect tip remember its not needed to make it with amethyst first just make it with ladders later on change them all one by one with amethyst buds its so faster with amethyst i added them to 2 layers the first 2 layers creepers will walk toward them at once and they will fall off

Pro tip for Xbox players make the farm with ladders and then change them all to amethyst buds they are not common but it takes 30mins to find them in caves I had 20 before so changed first 3 layers with amethyst buds
this farm worked great for me. I am on a xbox for those wondering. the spawn rates were good using the videos instruction, but I increased the output by putting slabs all over the roof and expanding it so the farm would be extremely dark( I only used laders, not the coral) wish y'all the best!!!!!!
I FINALLY FIX THE FARM bc is not working in my world… i had to go up 8 blocks for my chest zone (and build the same chest zone like the video) and 13 blocks up for the afk point, in the front block of the original point in the video (stuck in the corner to the “creeper tunnel” some blocks after the trident killer). JUST USE LADDERS, the amethyst don’t work for some people like me idk why The farm produces the half of the loot in the video but i had to build it 2 times in survival bc it hasn’t working at all… basically i recommend this to make your farm functional

So I made this last night on Xbox. Followed video to the spec. The creepers don't fall off the buds or the coral but work a lot better with ladders. Playing on sim 4 and only the first 4 layers are spawning creepers. Its working but not super fast. About 8 stacks and hr. Not knocking the video as I have an actual working creeper farm. Some of the others are barely 3 stacks an hr so I'm happy with this one. Guessing there maybe a few snags to iron out. Maybe on my end but I'll keep tinkering. Thanks for the farm 👍

I’ve built mine high up, away from mountains. 10 stacks high (I’ll increase to 16 for maximum efficiency) but I get zombies and squids drop down in mine. Along with drowned. The rate of which I’m getting creepers is super slow. I’ve put some Glowstone at the opening of the hole which has stopped the drowned. But creepers haven’t increased must be getting 2-3 creepers every 40 seconds.

Do you need to use trident killer or can you build so you kill them with your sword or will that effect anything?
The trident killer is 2x as efficient

its not jsut this farm but every mob farm ive built recently gives literally 0 rates? even if i build high up do i still need to light up the ground now... the rates im getting are so poor 15 minutes of this farm i got 20 gunpowder, 16 layers leaves in the middle to stand on , not over an ocean .... is it direction sensitive or something? (yes im on hard)

I have a problem. I built the farm but it doesn't work. I rebuilt it several times but it still doesn't work. Its performance is less than 40 gunpowder every half hour and I don't know what to do.
Bro built in ocean , try find ocean near icespices or normal ocean the rates increase and also in every video it shows that it producing a lot but it never happened it is just a 150 or 2 3 stacks only in a hour it never be 1500 gunpowder
So how many blocks away from rivers do you think will be ok cause I have a base that’s in between to 2 rivers about 100 blocks In between
U can use buttons instead of ladders, it will work same, but lot more efficient
