Demon's Souls: Best atmosphere/ambience
Dark Souls: Best world design
Dark Souls 2: Best hub area
Dark Souls 3: Most replayable
Bloodborne: Best art direction
Sekiro: Best combat system
Elden Ring: Everything else basically (bosses, secrets/exploration, build variety, quality of life, lore, music...)

Music goes to dark souls 3 and lore goes to dark souls 1 but i agree with everything else honestly and elden ring is my favorite souls game

Bloodborne DLC is the best, by a mile.
BB has the best lore and atmospphere lol. Also has best combat along with Sekiro
but bloodborne base game have 90% shit bosses
Ds1: level design - atmosphere - narrative - the fact that everything has a reason (ecept lost izalith lol)-characters
DS2: balanced built variety - new game +
DS3: bosses
BB:weapons -lore -music -npcs
Sekiro: not a souls game but a very unique action adventure
ER: world design - enemies - exploration - combat
+ I didn't play demons souls but I realy enjoy atmosphere of the orginal one in videos but I can't say anything else
Ds3 bosses are the best. They are so fucking balanced. Tho one complaint they can be too easy if you have played elden ring for over 300 hours
Glad to see demon’s souls get some love for once. Also I agree on BB’s atmosphere. One of the few times I felt uneasy playing a game. Especially in the Gaol area.
Elden Ring's forte for me was the NPCs
Specially with the DLC
They finally felt like characters and less than dialogue checklists

but i think Elden ring legacy dungeons have better level design than all the souls games combined
@@anukthotawatta982 that’s an interesting take mate, I get can behind it. I say DS 1 only because it’s the first game in the series to have such an amazing level design, and it was to the point that future games couldn’t replicate until recently 🍀
Stormveil castle is probably the best legacy dungeon they ever designed.
This would be true if there werent so many checkpoints as to remove most of their tension

Without doubt. Elden Ring has way too many flaws to be considered a masterpiece like Bloodborne, or even Sekiro and Dark Souls 3. And because of my bias I prefer Dark Souls 2 over Elden Ring

@@drfabulous2804 Elden Ring has flaws but BB doesn't?? Bloodborne has meh base game bosses and little to no build variety and weapon variety. Those are some huge negatives. Sekiro has one flaw in which the exploration and level design are not as interesting as the other games. Elden Ring's only flaw is the repeat mini bosses but i would take that flaw when the game gives me so many build variety and amazing world and dungeons to explore.

I wont lie for bloodborne a thing i would like highlight are the npcs they feel like their own bosses and are scary like the kidnappers

Agreed, at least with the very few fromsoft games I've played.
Sekiro definitely has the best combat with how creative you can be with it. Bloodborne has the aesthetics, weapon designs, monster and enemy designs and personally, no other souls game comes even close the soundtrack in Bloodborne.

I really like this list. I would say bb has better combat than sekiro and Sekiro has the best storytelling. Also I would give bosses to elden ring but u get what you mean by the blueprint factor of ds3 bosses

Dis you rly just gave a point to elden ring for exploration? Rly? Yea its sooo good that you always are either way to overlevel or undrlevel vs bosses. The best example: i on my first playthrou fought margitt, in the begging he absolutely demolished me because of his huge heath and dmg for early game boss. I ignored him for a while, killed 4-5 “optional” punchbag bosses updated my weapon as much as i could, went to margit again and i run him down in less than a min. And not only him, in this game because of open world there is no golden middle, you always are either way to overlevel, or way to underlevel for a boss, which is a bad thing because you have 0 fun getting demolished over and over, or killing bosses in leas than a min (if not faster)
@@SilverBoy-er4kb I see what you mean mate, but how does that take away from the exploration? Elden ring is not dark souls both games play differently and are different experiences.
The exploration is part of the fun not necessarily to go there and farm but to just find new area explore dungeons and fight new bosses!
The point you are making is valid, and I can see what you mean 100% but the two games are not the same.
Also the point you made is why the game has such a mass appeal, because people who are not soulsborne players can get into it easier than for example me and you.

DS1: Best world building and ambience.
DS3: Best Bosses.
Bloodborne: Best art maybe sound and lore too.
Elden Ring: Biggest, though it sins with quantity over quality, and best build variety.
Sekiro: Wont necessarily say best combat but most fresh combat sure.
Lore is very interesting in all games in different ways, wouldnt nacessarily point to one as the best, also DS2 and DeS have nothing where they exceed at compared to others, not going to pretend every souls has to be the best at something, thats just not true, both games good though.
My list will be (people probably disagree):
Demon Souls: as you, boss concepts.
Dark Souls: best npcs.
Dark Souls II: same as you, also I will say... His unique atmosphere and the biggest dlcs.
Dark Souls III: bosses design/movesets, balance and level design. Maybe is not as good the map conections of ds1, but I zones of Ds3 are more complex and replayable.
Sekiro: combat and progression. Not any other souls felt so good sawing you learning it than Sekiro
Bloodborne: atmosphere and lore yeah, but I will say also weapons. I don't get the neccesity of having 20 swords if they are basically the same, only 5 of the 20 have any difference. I prefer less weapons but different and with no janky and recicled movesets.
Elden Ring: best piece of shit. Some zones are pretty good if you explore it good but... Most of the time you are on an autistic horse crossing and empty land.
A few very good bosses and variarety in builds and opcions. Elden Ring has my favorite magic of all games, in terms on design, visual, possibilities, etc. But come on man, 90% of the enemies are no worth killing it, if they not recicle a thing from other game, they recicle a lot of times the same thing over and over like facing the same boss. Main bosses are in general good (not you Malenia), but some of them looks like the wet dream of the masochist hardcore modder (yes DLC, I am talking about you, also the worst of all dlcs, the camera issues with bosses, the recicle things, the npc with boss health bar and more).

Demon Souls: Nothing still a great game though
Dark Souls: Lore, Dlc, Interconnectivity
Dark Souls 2: No No No just No
Bloodborne: Combat, Areas, Atmosphere, Trench Coats
Dark Souls 3: Nothing still a great game though
Sekiro: Nothing still a great game though
Elden Ring: World, Bosses, Variety
And I have proven my point
ER has the best bosses, ds3’s best bosses are just roll 1-3 attacks and then punish simulators which is very boring.
Plus half of ds3 bosses are trash, the first half of ds3 is a complete slog because of them and is why I never replay the game anymore.
eldern ring bosses are just reskins bosses with bullshit attacks. ds3 bosses have best design, quality, difficult but they are fair

@@MakioGoHardio Challenge does NOT equal fun. Souls games need to be challenging AND fun. Elden ring bosses are far too aggressive and fast, Don't get me wrong many of them are great! (8/165 max) The problem is that "bosses" in elden ring feel less special because of how many there are. When you stumble upon a boss in DS3, it's a different feeling yknow? Plus, dark souls 3 has better bosses than elden ring.... but imo sekiro tops
