    I remember this pattern and probably still have it with my older patterns. I made several versions in 1981 when I was pregnant and added some extra gathers at center front. It was super cute then and super cute today! Will have a rummage in my old pattern box and see if I can find it.

      That is so cool. I’m picturing gathers at the center front. I bet that really is super cute. I love how these patterns are being re-released. So good that you may have held onto yours. I’ll have to make sure to do the same. The dress is my fave. :)

    I’ve been sewing for over 50 years, washable markers are genius for marking. I went straight to Walmart after watching your video. Markers and a hole much made very quick work marking fisheye darts in the 3 garments I was working on. Very cute dress. P.S. I also made this dress in the early 70s.

    • @Manecoarse
      @Manecoarse  Месяц назад +1

      I love the washable markers for marking fabric. They work wonderfully, and I've never had an issue getting the marks to wash away. I have the thicker tipped markers and the thinner tipped ones. So glad you picked some up and it helped with your darts! That's great. Definitely worth having for sure!!! So cool that you made this dress in the 1970s. I love how these patterns are coming back around.

    What an interesting video! Wow this will be a letter by the time I finish with my comment. The lavender jumpsuit you had on, you looked like a model doll, did it fit you perfectly!😊 The ruffled top was nice and so was the dress. I'm glad you enjoyed the reunion! But... how did your cabbage and chicken turn out? Then I would like to know, when you was putting your dress on the manican, the light brown dress you had on, did you make that? I also would like to know the dark green cargo pants you had on, were they ordered or you made them. I love cargo pants with deep pockets! You done an amazing job as always, I enjoyed watching, and keep up the amazing work. Love, Aunt Irene
