The pattern comes with symbols to guide you through the sewing process but not the written step by step instructions that you’re used to commercial patterns coming with. Some knowledge of garment construction is good to have .
You’re right! Thanks for pointing that out. There are symbols to guide you through the sewing process. To clarify, if someone looking for step by step written instructions, that most commercial patterns come with. I’ll edit my pinned comment to make that more clear. Thank you
I remember 25 cent patterns! In the seventies I took a pattern making course in college and the instructor said she could draft a pattern for any style-but didn’t, because patterns were so cheap. Things have changed.
I purchased a new system last year, and I enjoy using it. Very straight forward. I need to set aside more time to using it more. It's a great tool for creating a base pattern and then creating your version. Good purchase!
I remember going to a demo of the Lutterloh system at my local fabric store when I was in middle school. It was so inspiring. I hope it serves you well.
the first time i got introduced to this system was actually last year. a representative of lutterloh came to a popular fabric store in my country to basically guide us through and tbh it did look like a good investment. i hope i can actually buy the set soon
I'm excited to see how this works for you! Honestly, I've been alternately curious and trepidatious about this system because I've primarily seen it work best for women who are B/C cups and smaller and who aren't very curvy. Colour me intrigued!
It's wild to me that you have supplements over 250, cause I have a supplement no. 7 :D Yes, single digit :D from 1940, this system has been on the market for so long. Other than that supplement I also have one book from the 1930s and one from 1940s. I need to finally try and make something out of them. :) If you're curious how they look, I have two videos with a flipthrough of both. :)
I went to an event selling this system in the 80s, it seemed expensive at the time but I thought it sounded awesome. But eventually I learned enough pattern alterations.

It kind of does as it tells what what parts to sew together if you look on the pattern

Things have certainly changed.
I never heard of Lutterloh. Game changer for home sewists! Thank you.
As long as you have some knowledge of garment construction, you should be good! But cool system
@@Sashasewing thanks! I am 73 and learned how to use a sewing machine when I was 7. I think 64 years probably qualifies!😂😂😂
Definitely qualified

Thank you for the video. Your glasses are amazing and look great on you!
Oh thank you!
This system is so interesting! Thanks for the thorough review. Also, your fit is great and I love that it is entirely me-made 🎉
Thank you sew much!
Thank you for your honesty. 😂 I buy stuff for the same reason.😂. Have fun on your sewing journey.
I’m not proud but it’s my truth lol. Thank you!

I wonder where these demos because I’ve never seen or heard of one but I hear many have been to one.

Yeah me too! We shall see!
I'm looking forward to seeing you use the system. I like sewing vlogs better than lessons.
Good because I can’t teach lol
Thank you for sharing this. I have this in my cart for awhile trying to decide if worth getting. Thank you!
Love to hear about your experience if you get it.
Thank you for explaining this! I do a lot of modifications & dupes & this is prob very helpful for that!
I think it’s a great starting point
I did look for one on eBay a while back but, I was hoping for deeper discounts 😂. It's seems like a cool system to try.
I was looking for deeper discounts too. Took some hesitation to spend that $100

Wow I love hearing about the older supplements. Im definitely going to take a look at your video
I do sew but clothing isn't my jam. Looking forward to more videos. This system sounds interesting. Algorithm is working for you. Subscribed
Yaaayyy!!!

I really love hearing people mention either using or attending the demos in the past.
