OH MY GOSH!!!! That black & white family photo you showed.. that's my greatgrandmum, greatgraddad, grandmum, granddad, great aunts & uncles and the child on the far right.. is my mum! I called the store as soon as I saw it and while they don't normally ship.. this is such a unique & truly once in a lifetime situation they agreed to ship it to me! I only asked for the photo to make it as easy for them as possible. But holy cow!! I'm still shaking. There is only 1 photo we have with my grandmum in it & it's so old, damaged & blurry she can't really be made out. She's the little lady in the very front. My grandmum is to her left , my greatgranddad to her right, my granddad in the center back.. SOOOOO exciting!! So thank you so very much for this video. Had it not been for you I never would have known of the existence of this family photo.
Wow! I can't believe it either! You are so lucky to have been watching the video! Happy for you! You are so right. Old family pictures are so hard to come by, especially when your family was poor and taking pictures was a luxury that they couldn't afford!

Now this is my kind of trip! Antiques, furniture, old toys, cast iron cook pot for this old soul primitive lover❤❤❤❤. My parents graduated in 1957 and looks so similar to their year book!

I adored the vintage chest of drawers, I usually lean towards vintage furniture, but could be swayed to modern at times. I just things back then were made to last.
Amen to bringing punch back, made with 7up or sprite and sherbert ice cream, we usually had it at birthday parties, bridal and baby showers! Bring it on!! lol!
The secretary was pretty! I put one together for my husband, bought writing bureau on the bottom and a shelf piece of furniture on the top,which surprisingly fit!
Loved your clogging photo! I used to watch the cloggers, never really tried it! I left it to the professionals! lol!

Love those chairs. I was given an antique Georgian secretary desk the other day. Been restoring the finish. Now, I need other furniture to change my room into a formal living room. Enjoy your videos, and your bubbly personality. You turn a bad day into a good one.

Great video! Loved the yearbook section-I graduated high school in 1974 myself, so yes indeed I had hip hugger bell bottom jeans and pants. I remember sewing patches into the legs of some peg leg jeans to make them into bell bottoms. Thanks for sharing that pic of you in your clogging outfit too-you looked great! Always a fun visit. ❤❤❤

We should definitely bring punch back! I used to love punch as a kid(in the 70's). My grandmother made a green punch for special occasions.
I also remember the icicles on the Christmas tree. The dog used to try to eat them. 😆

I graduated in 1976! That yearbook looked like how I remembered! My dad looked at my jeans as I was heading out the door for school and I had sewed patches on them. He said that he didn't want me wearing jeans with patches to school. He thought they had holes. He wanted my mom to take me to the store to get a new pair of pants. He grew up very poor and didn't have a choice but to wear pants with patches and didn't want his kids to have too! He was ok after I explained that they didn't have holes, just that i had decorated my jeans with the patches I had gotten. One was a 😊 and one was a flower, I don't remember what the other was but I'm sure it was something to the affect of "have a nice day!" LOL memories!!
Graduated in 1977 and sounds so much like my dad with the patches, peace sign, smiley face and flower power😂
I forgot about adding patches to our jeans! My favorite pair had😃😃. Kathy

Such happy memories for the lady below who saw her family in the book and so kind they can ship for her. When you mention places for your secret papers I always ask my Aunty where hers are and she always says somewhere you will never guess! I think we might be close in age, I graduated high school in 76. I know what you're talking about with the smell of the library. Do you remember the smell of the mimiograph paper? I remember how we always wanted to be the one who went to the office to get the teacher's copies so we could sniff them hot off the press! Thanks for another fun episode Kelly!

I remember my mother picking me and a few friends up from the movies WITH CURLERS! I was probably 12! It was late Saturday afternoon, and she was going out. Remember when they set their hair and it took hours to dry. 😂 Loved that older desk!! 🎉

I live in TN and really want to get a truck and make a trip to NC to some of the stores you show just to see and possibly purchase some of those wonderful things in your videos! I forgot all the furniture I saw after seeing Zoe's comment about that being her family photo and calling to get it from the store. That is so crazy. My old family photos look just like that. I remember seeing some where my great aunts and uncles were standing beside their old cars.

We just bought a Futon, for $80.00, with bears, fish, moose on the cover it's going into our cabin that we are fixing it up last year we spent $199.00 for a six inch futon matteress, so this was a hot deal.😊

They have the clothing section well stocked but lack in housewares & furniture. But at least they have a Great staff.. very nice & helpful.👍
