What a lot of fans don’t realize is the anime is fake. The manga shows what actually happens in the story. Goku never beat Jiren, Beerus knows how to use ultra instinct (to an extent), etc.

But, when you mentioned Vegeta fighting Goku as Majin Vegeta, let's not forget Goku, unfortunately, could've beaten Vegeta whenever he felt like doing so, Vegeta even said so himself, due to him having achieved, but yet to reveal, Super Saiyan 3. Still, it was an epic fight to behold.

Doesn't it suck that Vegeta had a 6 month headstart training with Whis, but somehow Goku still came out on top? If Bardock is somehow resurrected into this Manga I fear it'll become even more about Goku as Vegeta slowly slips into the background, again.

There's something that is surprisingly not talked about and that is power fission that vegeta was able to get through his training in yardrat.. He touched granola so many times I feel like he's taking away his energy as well. Also if ultra ego gets stronger with the damage He takes, but his body can't really take the entire damage, he can use power fission as way to continuously replenish.. In a way it would render the Senzu been obsolete and would make vegeta a genuine strength to reckon with
That is only if both of those abilities are compatible though. Doing so could cause an overload of sorts. Like the warnings King Kai used to give Goku about the Kaioken.

What if Vegeta needs forgiveness? He knows he's participated proudly in Frieza's empire at the cost of entire planets. He died once trying to devalue his own existence. That part in the Morro arc when he claimed to be a villain himself was a tell tale sign that he hasn't forgiven himself. His desire to die shows just how deep his affliction is. It shows that he feels undeserving of the life he's enjoyed and feels he never payed for his crimes. His journey of atonement has went on for some time. This would've been his third death. If the Heaters seeked the seat of the strongest, Vegeta hasn't fully awakened his power yet. This may just be the beginning.

i feel, vegeta hearing that a saiyan saved granolah may help him come to terms with his guilts.
I used to make comics in high school about how vegetas limits to his power was in his head and the doubt he has. It makes me so happy that it is cannon how he has to move past it to achieve this new power.
Vegeta understood Granolah's quest for revenge and was honorable enough to actually give it to him. I did like that aspect of the chapter, they touch on it at a surface level but it IS very deep. I just wish they executed on it a little better. I don't think Ultra Ego is an Omen but it would be cool as hell if it was SSJ3/SSJ4 hair. Fans always come up with cooler shit than the Manga itself. Vegeta does take a 'mentor' role with Granolah. I fully believe by the end of this arc Vegeta will promise Granolah that he, Vegeta will destroy Frieza in his sted.

That means technically, Vegeta won the crown of coming back as the strongest mortal, although we have to watch out for the heeters.

Truly, Vegeta is carrying a lot of load and guilt of his and Saiyans' past sins on his shoulders. He keeps on admitting himself as a villain suited for hell. I think, if by the end of this arc, if Vegeta reverts completely to his old ways like he was way back in Saiyan saga then he will come out as a complete maniac, ready to destroy and torture anyone he comes across in a battle, thereby setting the stage for one final battle between him and MUI Goku. In which Goku will try to bring back the reformed Vegeta.

Vegeta has the most character development in the entire show. Vegeta’s interactions with the namekians during the Moro arc gave me hope, but.. when he was knocked down from Kami’s lookout, I was disappointed.

The 17 that wanted to kill everyone was from a different timeline. The current timeline 17 was just a laid back android that wanted to travel around with his android siblings and fight here and there. And MAYBE kill Goku, but wasn't hellbent on it.

Again, we keep forgetting about his training on Yardrat. There's a technique that does something similar to the energy siphoning. He did during the Moro arc. Plus we don't know else he learned on that planet. Truth to be Vegeta should OPd not just a tank.
Even before that spirit fission in order for him to master it he needs to master cloning, teleportation, size alteration, regeneration and combined them to create spirit fission so before that he still have plenty on his sleeves for this fight butas he said he's trying to act as the person he used to be and also have he's not trying to kill granola since he's a consequences for what saiyans used to be and this is his way of taking pride on the behalf of his race by accepting punishment for it so basically he's holding back all this time around
Honestly, they should have give Vegeta learn a lot of hax instead of Forced Spirit Fission only. I hate this pride thing a little if he want to beat Goku then he need to learn those technique.

@@NexusMerbok also the principle of ultra ego is absorbing the energy of the attack and make it his own but also he can use the accumulated energy to amplify his attacks power which makes sense since he already take alotof damage also if I were vegeta I'll play my cards like this were during converStation I'll send a clone that uses size alteration then use it to use spirit fission while inside granola and send the energy as power up for the original and while doing that I'll make clones that uses ultra ego that alternates between hakai and spirit fission to power up the original as well then the original will heal himself then after that I'll use final explosion which might not kill granola if he's as strong as he claims to be but since he's worn out this strategy might work enough for both saiyans to persuade him also once he sees vegeta take the last senzu eventually he'll lose the will to fight it's a shame since vegeta was known as a great tactician yet they waste his character for plot convenience

MUE Vegeta would be so powerful, due to him having trained on planet Yardarat.
With his ki amplification and nullification, him in that form would be a danger for the whole planet. Similar to when Goku went SSJ3 for the first time. But 100x worse. Would be pretty cool to see doe, looking forward to the next chapter.

I think you’re wildly wrong that granola needs to die to be a catalyst for vegeta perfected ego …. What your argument has going for it is that the death of a important character has been a catalyst for sayain transformations since dbz (ss1,2, ultra instinct)…
However EGO is a wildly different form and I think you did NAIL the connection to his guilt… which means it’s not granolas DEATH that will catalyst the perfected ego form… but rather his forgiveness and vegetas enlightenment that the past is the past and his actions moving forward are what will redeem his race. I.e. letting go of the guilt and moving on

As much as I would love to see Vegeta achieve a new level of power through Ultra Ego where he could sky rocket above current Granola and unlock new abilities like being able to surround himself with Hakai energy. But as a logical and nonbaised dragon ball fan it wouldn't make any sense for Vegeta to get this much stronger because he already did better than UI Goku against a much weaker Granola. If Vegeta hasn't mastered the form and does becoming even stronger that would mean Hakai > Ultra Instinct. Or at least Ultra Ego > Goku's Ultra Instinct, but that would be bad for plot because Goku has more experience and skill with Ultra Instinct.

Edited - Wither UI Goku got weaker Goku still had enough energy to substaine his form and Granola a weaker Granola had enough speed and power to knock Ultra Instinct Goku out. Also, Ultra Ego Vegeta was already pumbling Granola after Granola EASILY defeated Goku. Granola broke his limits becoming a lot stronger and manager to turn the tables on Vegeta becoming a lot stronger than Vegeta and Vegeta was able to better against that Granola aswell because I recall Goku getting knocked out nearly killed multiple times against Granola.

I think this would likely happen because in Super Dragon Ball Heroes they showed Bardock and few weeks or days later Bardock "appeared" in the manga and now in the SDBH SS3 Rose was shown so maybe their hinting at this Mastered Ultra Ego form ... Who knows? I could be right or wrong 😅
