- Last year, Ellen's field producer, Aaron, wanted to propose to his girlfriend, Ellen's wardrobe assistant, Jen. He asked for Ellen's help and together they planned an elaborate -- and romantic -- on-air engagement!
Ellen believes in love. You can see it in her eyes. She is just so pure of heart. She's built her empire to make fairytales come to life. I truly love her.

Kirsty, have you tried messaging Ellen on her Facebook Page, or even on her website? It's really something that should be on all major RUclips Channels. People seriously need to consider their Adapted (I don't call it a disability, I call it an Adaptability because that's what we have to do, adapt.) audiences. Especially Ellen!
Tiggie2000 I didn't know which was hers as when I typed in her name there was lots of them. But I agree with you some stuff on tv we can't watch if we don't have the channel so you tube works but then there isn't subtitles for deaf people, or other language users.

Ellen is one of the nicest people i have ever seen. She goes around helping everybody from military familys to her own staff... kinda like an angel. Some of her videos like this one really make me tear up cause i love them so much. Please keep doing what you're doing Ellen :)

I always see these kinds of comments on such videos and all I think is, I am sure the one proposing must've thought things through. I believe that most, if not all, of these couples have already passed the obstacles of doubt and it is much less a matter of approval that that of the thought and effort that goes in such proposals. Surely no one would like to be rejected on an international platform
They don't film live. They tape ahead of the air date and when most people propose, they have already talked about marriage with their partner.

I believe the Ellen show does a lot of good and I'm happy to see things like this. A man wanting to show the world how much he loves this woman is beautiful. Like Ellen says at the end of her shows "be kind to one another", so no negativity about the show people.

I commented some time back about all the many videos one can watch on RUclips. Videos of violence, suffering - many many dark videos. And there are videos of goodness - happy stories of giving, caring, love. What I enjoy about Ellen's videos is that these stories are of people overcoming trying times, adversities and being recognized and applauded. RUclips will let you see life as it is. The good and the bad....all of it.....life as it is. I want to see it all (within reason). When I think I've watched to much darkness I watch videos like Ellen's. They remind me of the hope and light that exists in this world also.

Oh Ellen I'm watching all these clips on you tube and my heart is doing flip flops. The dog the adopted all the emotional upset. Erin coming in to propose such normal everyday human interactions that we can all appreciate and understand. You've had your lows, l myself was sexually assaulted when l was nine didn't tell my mother until I was 17 she couldn't cope or didn't want to be believe my brother 9 years older than me could do that. Real life emotions on your show relatable and heart reaching. I don't know why I'm opening up maybe because l relate to the real trauma that you yourself have opened up about. Children are my great love my grandchildren are everything to me, we several years ago had to move to a more affordable area so we could retire there however it's a three hour drive and due to back issues don't see my family often. Life can definitely throw some sad things in your path. I'm glad you found Portia a true Aussie!
