- DJ is forced to resign on-air from in-store radio station due to artistic/creative differences. (From Series 3 Episode 3 of the Channel 4 series of "The Armstrong & Miller Show" from 1999).

Miller's tone is perfect in this. I used to really enjoy their Channel 4 series, it had some wonderful bits.

Mike VanIn it's a pisstake out of some old Radio 1 DJs that were told to hop it in the late 80s/early 90s....Peter Powell, simon Bates, Dave Lee Travis, etc. Unfortunately if you weren't around then it's not so funny
Part of the joke is how seriously he takes himself (like most DJs) while only working as a DJ for the jeans section of a department store.
It's also the randomness of him being hired as a DJ for some generic jeans store in london
