The sax is LIT , there are a few really short but intense instrumental touches , the synth in the chorus is an onf signature, and with the combination of all of these amazing things , there comes a really great, fun piece of summer music which's not generic unlike 60% of summer songs .... onf is so amazing , the music , the concept , the really amazing talent and skills of each member .... I never get tired of watching them on stage , they are so comfortable as if they've been performing for YEARS and people who don't know this group are missing something out .... I'm just sad that they are underrated.... Side note : I've never seen kevin being as critical as he is in the latest videos 😂
Best 2020 summer song for me Usually summer songs are very generic and that is why I don't prefer summer songs. But this is something different and I really enjoyed that difference.
And also fun fact : There is a sort audio snippet of sukhumvit swimming at the end of Moscow Moscow's instrumental video which was uploaded on their official channel , which means that the producers have been working on this song since then and their comeback got postponed because of pandemic and rtk !

i'm so glad you're a fan of onf! they deserve so much more recognition, and i hope that more people will become fans after watching your content! i listened to their debut song on repeat when it first came out, and i remember thinking to myself that they had a really strong debut! subsequent comeback songs were so catchy, and the mvs are such amazing quality too! when i watched their promotion stages and youtube content, i never bothered looking at the views because i thought they were doing well. only when i went back recently did i notice that some of the videos i watched only have several thousands of views. (and some mvs only have 1-2M views??) :( when they ranked highly on mixnine as well, i was surprised that they didn't get more popular then. maybe their songs don't suit the tastes of korean fans...? i'm glad to see comments from people saying they became fans through road to kingdom, because it shows that they've earned this well-deserved appreciation through their hard work.

For your TMI: This song were composed by Hwang Hyun and MK(ONF) and Hwang Hyun is their main composer since their debut album! Hwang Hyun took classical music as his major if I'm not mistaken! So he likes to add classical musical instruments on his songs! I would like to recommend you guys react to their 2nd mini album 'Complete' by ONF ! They used a lot of saxophone in there and is beautiful yay!

Agree with Demitri. It's also incredibly problematic to dismiss reggae as a genre one "despises" then, in the same video, dismiss trap as not even worthy of being called a genre. I'd check the receipts in k-pop and all international pop for the last 10 years about whether or not it's a genre, let alone an impactful one. Every other big pop song for the last decade has had some element of trap 808s. Maybe he should unpack what these genres have in common before saying such things and maybe try exploring further other artists within said genres instead of dismissing them as a whole. Makes him sound incredibly snobby at best and bigoted at worst. One can always say "It's not my cup of tea" and leave it at that.
A genre doesn't just have to because of musical elements. Aside from that fact reggae has distinctive musical elements reggae songs are known for their lyrics that are usually strong social commentary or political criticisms. Also no one labels trap as a separate genre from hip hop everyone knows it's a sub-genre.

I don't want to accuse him of anything but his elitist attitudes of black created genres that haven't been whitewashed yet rubs me the wrong way.

However, this is directed at Kevin, I get you don't like reggae, but feels very dismissive and dare I say, disrespectful in a way to say "you barely call reggae a genre..."
