I had wanted to buy a beautiful teal handbag but thought 'what would I wear that with?' Turns out....it goes with everything! I now only own 1 little black evening bag and my handbag shelf looks like a rainbow.

Socks with non-black clothes always confuse me. Unless I am wearing tall boots, some sock will show. Black socks are such a default and easy option with black pants and black shoes. What do you do with ballet shoes or the part of your leg that shows when you sit down when wearing short boots--and you are wearing colors? I find those thin trouser socks always slip down my leg and tights are not always an option under pants. I'd love to see a demonstration on sock wear once the boot season goes away----but before the weather is ready to allow us to wear sandals.

Transition can be tricky because we're not ready for open shoes but are ready to put boots away. If your boots are colored, like a deep rich shade, I'd look to sock colors that match the rest of your outfit. So, if you have grey pants on then try grey socks, and so on. Question: In winter, when I wear a skirt, I usually wear black tights with black shoes . If I switch to another color shoe, what kind of tights should I wear to avoid looking like a Pantone swatch book?

Wearing only black is just as stupid as wearing only white, blue or grey. Black is fine for funerals, playing in an orchestra, for certain people and young people but not all the time. Also black doesn't go with many other colours. Maybe white, grey or red.
