So simple, but effective way to study the contents of your closet and figure out what stays/goes. I also like that it helps you make a shopping list of needed items. Thanks Bridgette!

Great info--Bridgette, this way of managing wardrobe makes the most sense to me, rather than trying to piece together a capsule, purge my clothes down to nothing to wear, or trying to pare down to a specific number like 33.

I needed this today! I have been reading a lot about capsules and really want to tighten up my wardrobe because I feel like I just have too much. This was another great perspective and I love the tip about pulling out key pieces and creating different looks. I really like getting the most cpw and don’t want to hold onto items that I might wear once a season (unless it’s for a special occasion). Thanks for all you do!

This is such a great video. I know that there is so much buzz around X# item wardrobe, but it seems to cause as much stress as having a closet filled with nothing to wear.

lightly lumay totally agree! Once the strategy of creating a manageable wardrobe gets more challenging than the wardrobe itself it’s time to reassess your plan!

This makes sense. A capsule just seems way too rigid. I can barely cope with packing for a trip and having to plan on wearing something 2-3 times. I’m sure others would never notice, but it bothers me.
