I love how their relationship is so lax. I have a disability called Spina Bifida and I have always felt the burden of my disability. She is so comfortable with him and him with her, that they can make fun of each other. I love it.

Their sense of humor is different. Not all relationships have to be the same. 3. Hannah doesn't have control over Shane. He can speak for himself and use a phone to call an accessible cab and dip whenever he wants to. 4. Hannah thinks Shane is handsome and she's attracted to him. Why is Beyonce attracted to Jay-z? Why is Kim attracted to Kanye? Why is jessie Williams attracted to his wife? Their partners may not Please YOUR version of beautiful but everyone is different. 5. Why would Hannah fake her love? She's hot she can find another good man. She's not getting paid. They've been dating long before anyone knew about them and RUclips. She's with him because she LOVES him.
You can tell how real their love is and how comfortable they are together by her expressions when adjusting him and getting his pee bottle. There is no hint of shame or embarrassment.
I've come to the conclusion that Liz is pretty spectacular and deserves a lot of credit, you guys are so lucky to have family around to support and love you.

As a fellow wheelchair user, a friendly word of advice: "Do NOT trust your chair to China Southern Airlines!". Basically, everything bad that could've happened to my wheelchair on that trip, did. It also didn't help that that was the trip I was taking to meet my girlfriend's parents, so of course I wanted to present myself as independent and "abled" as possible. Throw in the language barrier, jet lag, the general lack of awareness about disability in China, and you've got the makings of a reality TV show. Somehow it all worked out…our fourth anniversary is later this month!
Awww, I'm glad it worked out for you. Sometimes it's the hard experiences that cement us the most deeply. I have yet to brave an airline since becoming chair bound. And I think I'd honestly choose to use a catheter for the trip. On the train I take I've only tried once. And I'm able to transfer myself. It's awful trying to use the bathroom while the world is in motion around you. If I ever go to Japan to see my brother, I'll take a cruise ship.
Im a 12 year old new amputee and my stump aka my thigh isn't ready for a prosthetic yet and my specialty designed that was personalized just for me got messed up when I was flying back to Florida
Those straps were freaking brilliant! Yeah, I never understand why I can't bring my wheelchair onto the plane, either. It makes zero sense. They always want to take it away and expect me to magically walk onto the plane. Like..... yeah. I can at least take a couple steps, so it must be exponentially more obnoxious for you in that situation. Traveling is so frustrating. I'm impressed that you're in such a decent mood whilst doing it! Maybe I could try that..... no promises, though. :)
@@djpup5384 - I'm not lying. :) I have really severe Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and my joints dislocate constantly. Every time my hip dislocates I spend anywhere from weeks to months in the wheelchair waiting for it to heal. I filmed the lipsync on a day when nothing was out of socket.
I'm not sure how I came across your videos, but I'm glad that I did. My younger cousin (17) passed away at the end of last year from her disabilities. And coming here to watch your videos and see your positivity and attempts to normalise the way people view disabilities is really heart-warming for me. As someone who doesn’t know any disabled people personally I think the fear of the unknown can be an issue. I’m not an asshole who thinks ‘oh god a disabled person!!!’ but it’s more like the fear of offending someone and tip toeing around them because oh god what if I’m staring or I’m obviously acting weird!! Anyway I was getting to a POINT which is after watching about 2 episodes of these it became totally normal to me and that’s just over video. I guess it just made me think about how I think of disability.... you very quickly don’t even think of it as ‘other’ when you see the persons personality. It just becomes a part of them and not the WHOLE them. Also Hannah has AMAZING teeth. Unrelated.
Cait B I personally know LOTS of people born with differences... (I mean aren’t we all) and they are honestly some of the most amazing people ever.... I can understand what you are getting at... about offending someone, but after a while, you start to forget about the way someone looks or talks or moves, and you start to look at what is in the inside.... You don’t need to be worried about offending them all the time. Just talk as you would to any other person. If you act like you are trying not to hurt feelings that’s the only actual offense.
As someone who is disabled, if you have a fear, concern or question I would want you to just be straight up and ask me. Trust me, we disabled people are very much aware that our situations are different than what most people are used to dealing with. Most of us are not going to be offended if you have questions. ESPECIALLY if I want to date you. I mean, I would want to know everything about you and your situation too so why would I be offended if you expect the same?It's not like you would be a random person asking invasive questions, you're a person that I would intend to share a significant portion of my life with. So yeah. If you're scared of the unknown, ask questions and let "unknown" be known. (:
My cousin is disabled he can’t talk right but he has the best personality and we all try to understand him we love him the same and don’t judge I never bring up that I can’t understand him so I tell him I can’t hear him bc I don’t want him to get mad but just saying don’t judge disabled people bc they could be someone you are missing out on so I am going to say it don’t judge a book bye it’s cover

Okay so Depression was kicking my butt and I was just wondering around RUclips. I saw this video and clicked on it. His upbeat attitude and smartassery quickly cured my depression. My boyfriend and I love you!
So I have a condition called ME/CFS and that keeps me homebound and constantly battling random symptoms. Lately I've been thinking how nobody would want me.. when I can't even really go out and if I did.. I'd need a wheelchair because I'd be too exhausted to walk around which would send me into a crash or flare. Or that I'm dealing with symptoms that impair my every day functioning and whoever I date would really need to...significantly shift their life to accommodate my illnesses.. and basically came to the conclusion no one would want to do that. It's nice to see how you have both found eachother. I've been scared that even if someone did date me.. they would grow to resent me due to having to "deal with me". Ps I know that I'm fantastic in alot of different ways that have nothing to do with my physical ability but it's still a hard thought. So thanks for sharing your relationship. I do hope someone will one day be able to see past my physical Illnesses and love and support me anyway. Ps only just a new subscriber :)
I have a bone disorder that makes me unable to walk or do anything that would be too stressful for my bones. They break easily. I have scars all over my body from surgery, and my limbs are twisted and bent. I have scoliosis, and a wide ribcage. I met a boy two years ago that fell in love with my personality. I tell him every day that I don't understand why he could want to take care of such a responsibility, and he told me that everyone becomes a responsibility in some way. If someone truly loves you, they'll even find your body beautiful. He tells me that I'm gorgeous because I'm myself. Honestly, I wouldn't want to date someone who liked my personality but left me because of my looks or lifestyle. Being this way is honestly a great way to filter out the jackasses. I'd recommend perhaps using a dating app to find people in your area. It'll keep people from making assumptions about you before knowing that you're disabled. Or even better yet, just be more social and outgoing. Go to community places with friends or outings where you'll meet people with your same hobbies. Join some fan groups or support groups for random things online. A lot of people are really superficial these days, but you attract what you let out. Surrounding yourself with negative people will give you negative thoughts. Surround yourself with people who love with their heart. Just remember to be safe and never settle. There are plenty of people with chronic illness that got the people that they really deserved.
Hi, I have M.E, have had it since I was 6 now 38, yes there are a lot of thing's to deal with healthwise but you must be happy + enjoy your life my dear, I am mostly housebound + rely on a wheelchair to get around (make's my life sooo much easier!) I am currently waiting for an assistance dog to help me out a little with mobility needs + have found that this has actually helped me out a lot at looking forward to being able to go out with my dog + not feel as anxious or awkward on bad day's, making friend's with the same condition help's too as they can understand how your feeling + you can have a good grumble when needed, M.E (not CFS) is a very difficult condition for most people to understand + life can be very challenging at times but finding good friend's + having the right support help's massively ☺️
I have ME, fibromyalgia and lupus, and I have had 3 spinal fusions (4feet of scars) and I have been with my bf for over a decade. I have had ME for 25yrs (I’m 44), and I was diagnosed with lupus and fibromyalgia about 6 months after we started dating. I rarely leave the house, and he has to help me when we do go out; I usually use a wheelchair, but sometimes I will brave walking while holding a shopping cart if it’s a quick trip. He never complains when I cancel plans at the last minute because I don’t feel well enough to go and he constantly checks to make sure I’m not overdoing it (which usually means showering AND leaving the house for more than an hour at a time lol). I did luck out picking a homebody who hates crowds and enjoys playing video games or watching cartoons (which I do too). I actually met him on OKCupid, and talked for a few months before meeting him to be sure he was not a creep. There is someone out there for everyone, but you have to be happy in your own skin (I know it’s hard when that skin seems to hate you and want you dead) before you can learn to love someone else. I spent so long giving everything to other people to try to keep their love, and I finally realized that I deserved more than that, but it took me 30yrs....
my boyfriend had his wheelchair broken when he went to Vegas, southwest took care of him thankfully, I am so happy to see you guys travel, it is inspiring my boyfriend and I to start planning trips and not just places within driving distance, Las Vegas is great for people with disabilities, by law every taxi company has to have at least 1 accessible vehicle

Most amazing couple,hillarious,smart,really thinking how glad I found this,while we aren't a couple,my mom has multiple sclerosis and Huntington's disease, I've been her caregiver,I promised a longtime ago,no nursing homes,we have had our challenges but love and humor help us,but this couple is so smart,bless them both.

Chiari malformation with multiple surgeries to cardiac issues. But my husband loves me regardless and we enjoy your videos so much. I honestly wish they would have some type of training for these chairs. when I worked at airports, I hardly have seen people leave notes or anything. It was one of those things you learn over time. What you guys did on this chair helps out a lot to airport staff and rampers.

And coming here to watch your videos and see your positivity and attempts to normalise the way people view disabilities is really heart-warming for me.

You can't fake the look on camera that Hana gives Shane. That is real genuine love. Makes me sad some people can be so mean and assume things. I have followed you two for a long while now. You both make me smile and laugh. The bond and love you have for each other is beautiful. I love your guys humor with each other and life. As someone who doesn’t know any disabled people personally I think the fear of the unknown can be an issue. I’m not an asshole who thinks ‘oh god a disabled person!!!’ but it’s more like the fear of offending someone and tip toeing around them because oh god what if I’m staring or I’m obviously acting weird!! Anyway I was getting to a POINT which is after watching about 2 episodes of these it became totally normal to me and that’s just over video. I guess it just made me think about how I think of disability.... you very quickly don’t even think of it as ‘other’ when you see the persons personality. It just becomes a part of them and not the WHOLE them.
Also Hannah has AMAZING teeth. Unrelated.
Cait B I personally know LOTS of people born with differences... (I mean aren’t we all) and they are honestly some of the most amazing people ever.... I can understand what you are getting at... about offending someone, but after a while, you start to forget about the way someone looks or talks or moves, and you start to look at what is in the inside.... I love scrolling through the comments and finding lots of uplifting comments!❤️
You don’t need to be worried about offending them all the time. Just talk as you would to any other person. If you act like you are trying not to hurt feelings that’s the only actual offense.
As someone who is disabled, if you have a fear, concern or question I would want you to just be straight up and ask me. Trust me, we disabled people are very much aware that our situations are different than what most people are used to dealing with. Most of us are not going to be offended if you have questions. ESPECIALLY if I want to date you. I mean, I would want to know everything about you and your situation too so why would I be offended if you expect the same?It's not like you would be a random person asking invasive questions, you're a person that I would intend to share a significant portion of my life with. So yeah. If you're scared of the unknown, ask questions and let "unknown" be known. (:
My cousin is disabled he can’t talk right but he has the best personality and we all try to understand him we love him the same and don’t judge I never bring up that I can’t understand him so I tell him I can’t hear him bc I don’t want him to get mad but just saying don’t judge disabled people bc they could be someone you are missing out on so I am going to say it don’t judge a book bye it’s cover

So I have a condition called ME/CFS and that keeps me homebound and constantly battling random symptoms. Lately I've been thinking how nobody would want me.. when I can't even really go out and if I did.. I'd need a wheelchair because I'd be too exhausted to walk around which would send me into a crash or flare. Or that I'm dealing with symptoms that impair my every day functioning and whoever I date would really need to...significantly shift their life to accommodate my illnesses.. and basically came to the conclusion no one would want to do that. It's nice to see how you have both found eachother. I've been scared that even if someone did date me.. they would grow to resent me due to having to "deal with me". Ps I know that I'm fantastic in alot of different ways that have nothing to do with my physical ability but it's still a hard thought. So thanks for sharing your relationship. I do hope someone will one day be able to see past my physical Illnesses and love and support me anyway.

I have a bone disorder that makes me unable to walk or do anything that would be too stressful for my bones. They break easily. I have scars all over my body from surgery, and my limbs are twisted and bent. I have scoliosis, and a wide ribcage. I met a boy two years ago that fell in love with my personality. I tell him every day that I don't understand why he could want to take care of such a responsibility, and he told me that everyone becomes a responsibility in some way. If someone truly loves you, they'll even find your body beautiful. He tells me that I'm gorgeous because I'm myself. Honestly, I wouldn't want to date someone who liked my personality but left me because of my looks or lifestyle. Being this way is honestly a great way to filter out the jackasses. I'd recommend perhaps using a dating app to find people in your area. It'll keep people from making assumptions about you before knowing that you're disabled. Or even better yet, just be more social and outgoing. Go to community places with friends or outings where you'll meet people with your same hobbies. Join some fan groups or support groups for random things online. A lot of people are really superficial these days, but you attract what you let out. Surrounding yourself with negative people will give you negative thoughts. Surround yourself with people who love with their heart. Just remember to be safe and never settle. There are plenty of people with chronic illness that got the people that they really deserved.
Hi, I have M.E, have had it since I was 6 now 38, yes there are a lot of thing's to deal with healthwise but you must be happy + enjoy your life my dear, I am mostly housebound + rely on a wheelchair to get around (make's my life sooo much easier!) I am currently waiting for an assistance dog to help me out a little with mobility needs + have found that this has actually helped me out a lot at looking forward to being able to go out with my dog + not feel as anxious or awkward on bad day's, making friend's with the same condition help's too as they can understand how your feeling + you can have a good grumble when needed, M.E (not CFS) is a very difficult condition for most people to understand + life can be very challenging at times but finding good friend's + having the right support help's massively ☺️

I have ME, fibromyalgia and lupus, and I have had 3 spinal fusions (4feet of scars) and I have been with my bf for over a decade. I have had ME for 25yrs (I’m 44), and I was diagnosed with lupus and fibromyalgia about 6 months after we started dating. I rarely leave the house, and he has to help me when we do go out; I usually use a wheelchair, but sometimes I will brave walking while holding a shopping cart if it’s a quick trip. He never complains when I cancel plans at the last minute because I don’t feel well enough to go and he constantly checks to make sure I’m not overdoing it (which usually means showering AND leaving the house for more than an hour at a time lol). I did luck out picking a homebody who hates crowds and enjoys playing video games or watching cartoons (which I do too). I actually met him on OKCupid, and talked for a few months before meeting him to be sure he was not a creep. There is someone out there for everyone, but you have to be happy in your own skin (I know it’s hard when that skin seems to hate you and want you dead) before you can learn to love someone else. I spent so long giving everything to other people to try to keep their love, and I finally realized that I deserved more than that, but it took me 30yrs....
my boyfriend had his wheelchair broken when he went to Vegas, southwest took care of him thankfully, I am so happy to see you guys travel, it is inspiring my boyfriend and I to start planning trips and not just places within driving distance, Las Vegas is great for people with disabilities, by law every taxi company has to have at least 1 accessible vehicle

Most amazing couple,hillarious,smart,really thinking how glad I found this,while we aren't a couple,my mom has multiple sclerosis and Huntington's disease, I've been her caregiver,I promised a longtime ago,no nursing homes,we have had our challenges but love and humor help us,but this couple is so smart,bless them both.

@@wbjsle7379 I haven't,cannot afford the test plus no insurance,I pray it'll skip me, multiple sclerosis skips a generation usually, Huntington's disease doesn't necessarily get passed down but it is possible from all that I know.

Chiari malformation with multiple surgeries to cardiac issues. But my husband loves me regardless and we enjoy your videos so much. I honestly wish they would have some type of training for these chairs. when I worked at airports, I hardly have seen people leave notes or anything. It was one of those things you learn over time. What you guys did on this chair helps out a lot to airport staff and rampers.
