- This is another tribute video to my favorite celebrity couple, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. They were just amazing together. :)
It's set to the song "Love me Like you do" by Ellie Goulding. For some reason I just thought it made sense to combine one of the most popular movie soundtracks of the year with a Hollywood royalty couple that emerged at the very end of the golden age of cinema. ;)
My dad had a girlfriend for many years who looked like Elizabeth Taylor. She had blue eyes and the dark brown hair. Elizabeth Taylor loved Richard Burton so much. You can see her face light up every time she looks at him. He thought her to be the most beautiful woman to ever live and he was absolutely right!
Cool that your dad's girlfriend reminded you of Elizabeth Taylor. I agree that the Burtons loved each other a lot.

Wonderfull tribute....it certainly shows I think that it is very true that sometimes you can love someone to much and that you really can't live with or without.i think this was very true with Elizabeth and Richard. 😍

I get what you are saying. They did live a larger than life existance with all the jewellry, houses, the yacht, the flight etc.
the perfect love between a man and a woman.when i see this video i always think to me an my husband.
we fight , we smile, we scream, we love each other since 1995 with the same intensity.
Maybe our love will never end because we are not alcoholics,
i think they were furious , extreme, because they swam in a see of alcohol, but you can read the pure love when they saw each other, and that make your spine tremble, you can feel all the attraction between them...

No I just think I chose the wrong ones who were not right for me. I ignored red flags when I should have run away at first. The ones who would have been good for me I didn’t want or overlooked.

I think he was the love of her life too. But Elizabeth used to say she had two great loves of her life, Richard Burton and Mike Todd.

Loved the video… is it known if they well.. saw each other after being divorced the first time and after the second divorce? I can hardly believe they were able to suppress such a strong love…even though they went on to marry other people
Well obviously they must have met up after their first divorce as they got remarried. Also yes they did see each other after their second divorce too as he was her date for her 50th birthday party in 1982. They also worked together in Private Lives in 1983. :) I believe they would have gotten married again if he hadn't died too soon.
