yes.. the dvdrental itself (zip file) is the file you will be using.. dont open the zip file. just use the zip file. It doesnt matter if there are DAR files inside.. just use the zip itself@@brentthomas7736

The problem I've now is that there's a message of PROCESS FAILED restoring backup on the server PostgreSQL 16 (Localhost5432), I can't open the dvdrental.tar archive, who could I correct this?

This very helpful but still can’t be able to add .tar file downloaded to the PostgreSQL. The dvdrental downloaded was a zip file but trying to unzip it to .tar file has been a challenge for me. I am having loads of individual files after unzip the zipped file.
I'm guessing your computer is windows 11. When you Double click the zip file once, you should see another folder which is also a compressed folder. However, if you double click again, you will then see the .DAT files. So, you shouldn't double-click the second time. Just double-click once and then use the compressed folder you obtain to load the database. Let me know if it works.

Hello sir. Pls why do I get "No archives found" when I click on extract to dvdrentals. Also, my downloaded dvdrentals is not showing as a zip file. Even though when I check properties, it says it is a .tar file. But under type, it's showing as WINRAR Archive.
First thing I think you should do is to start the process afresh and follow the video step-by-step. Make sure you delete the previously downloaded zip file. It may have been corrupted. Let me know what you find. Thanks!

What can you do when it say failed instead of completed?

It won't restore the zipped file or the extracted version of the file.
