the 118% of 2346 had a silly mistake. it should have been 115-46 = 69 AND .2-.9 = .7 so answer should have been 2768.3 . Otherwise your way of teaching is superb.

those who haven't paid attention to the question of time 25:00 , there is a simple mistake....sir calculated 46.92 in addition to that whole sum..instead it should get subtract by the addtion amount which is 2815.2...

Firstly thank you sir for these awesome lectures they are really helpful specially for those who are self studying for CAT....and for other students I guess it better to find out value of 10% and 5% everytime and then just multiply it with the multiple for example if you want to find 75% just find the value of 5% and multiply it by 15 you'll get the answer more quickly

Tricks to finding 10, 1, 25, 50 percentages is good but speaking of other complex questions u could just use this formula - Given Percentage × The Question ÷ 100
But how to solve 166.66 of 3309. It might have been a long calculation to solve without calculator. If you could help me in this ques.

The 39% of 4662 have one little mistake because 2331-466.2=1864.8-46.6=1818.2

Just one piece of advice - "Keep it simple"
Don't collect different study materials from different sources.
Just clear your basics and practice previous years and similar questions.
Don't bother with difficult questions until and unless you are comfortable with normal questions because solving normal questions is more than enough to score 95 %le in quant.

Earlier this week I took demo in number of classes near me, but couldn't found professor like you. Legit those people charging 60,000 k for 6months prep with truly horrible lectures no worth. Thanks a ton sir your videos helping alot especially to all of them who can't afford fancy fees :-)
166.66% of 3309 is even easier then what sir told us
We know 1/6=16.66% therfore 1/6 x 10 = 166.6666% that means just calculate 3309 x 10 x 1/6 = 5515 solved in under 10 sec
isnt an on screen calculator provided in exam and instead of calculating 16% of any number this way we can just multiply 0.16 x (the number) and we get the answer. IK this method is better for overall IQ development but I feel for CAT we should use the fastest method there is.

= (50 - 10 - 1)% of 4662
= 2331 + 466.2 - 46.62
= 1818.2

466.2*4 can be broken down into 460 * 4 which can be further broken down in 45 * 2 = 90, so 450 * 2 = 900 * 2 = 1800 + 40 + 24 = 1864 - 46.62 = 1818.4 approx. It sounds complex but I'll suggest the fellow students to try it once

Simplest method can be done as if we have to take 16.66 percentage of 3309 we can just multiply 1.6666 with 3309 because 166.66 / 100 wlb be 1.6666 . And it wld be more easy to remember than remember this all formula

in the 1234 example, 2/3 is shown as 0.66% but 2/3 is 66.67%, 0.66% is 33/50. How is it solved then?

Search on RUclips "0.66 simplified form(2/3)" you will get the answer
how is 0.66% = 2/3...shouldn't 66.66% = 2/3
That is because 0.66 is 2/3 of 1% ans 66.66 is 2/3 of 100%......i also missed it when he explained it and got confused..... If you still get confused try experimenting with the calculator so that you understand.. I also did the same
When you will solve just the fraction 2/3 you will get 0.66 which is 2/3 of 1% but when when solve the fraction and multiple it with 100 we will get 66.66 which is 2/3 of 100
If you understand this and after experimenting with the calculator just watch the video again you will understand about the remaining doubts which will be there in you mind even after learning this fact

Hello Sir, you have done it wrong calculation here (by mistakenly). In place of subtracting 2% i.e. 46.92 you have added it to the main calculation. I am not able to see any comment correcting you so writing this comment.
The correct answer is 2768.2

There are n no. Of methods it depends on you in which one you are quick.
