I have a easy trick: Just transfer the decimal at beginning and multiply it by the number
Example
37.5% of 640
.375x640
=240

It takes a lot of calculation . It's easy yet time consuming. That's why he's teaching us various shortcuts. These shortcuts may seem long but with practice these will be easier as well as quick.
So try to do the way Sir is telling.
Bro this is the conventional way to solve this..

=640*.375
