I'm no guitarist or musician, so I'm not gonna say he's "underrated" or anything, cos what do I know. But I absolutely love the way Jamie Hince makes his guitar sound, it's feral, wild, sexy, distinctive and just about the most rock n' roll, cool as fuck sound on this planet. If I was ever going to learn guitar, I'd want it to sound like that. Just awesome.
He comes by his style honestly; he's lost the use of his third finger on his fretting hand, therefore much of the tunings and chord voicings he uses is a workaround for that injury. Also, there's an interview of them talking about their musical influences, all of their music makes sense after watching that and listening to the albums/bands they discuss. But you are absolutely correct, largely underrated guitarist. If you find yourself picking up guitar, search Jamie Hince Rig Rundown on yt and watch it. He discusses his guitars and effects as well as a couple other components of his style.
Ouch. This musical artwork gets your attention when you usually have none to give. It would be a crime to watch this and not say something. What an incredible vibe, message, sound, it's hypnotically cool and very beautiful
dude i dont think alison actually ever gave up her black balloon, just saved it for shows like this one. i dont really care but i swear you can tell like the house of strombo gig she almost seems dopesick.
If i had a chance to i would so be with both of them at the same time i like them that much bit first hopefully i could do music with them but its whatever i don't care i think they are that lovely
They are hot and the audio is great, but gotta ? Seems like she is always wearing the same blouse, not complaining, there music has gotten me through a lot of bad times . Thank you!
Some acts have the no video "demand?" In their contract. I suppose hoping to sell more tickets, or possibly to encourage the audience to enjoy the live experience. Performers feel and feed off the energy of their audience. Looking out into a crowd holding their phone perfectly still instead of grooving to the music could aggravate performers and could distract the surrounding attendees. IMO It appears that Live Nation has promoted and recorded this show. Possibly to air on TV, a subscription based site or to sell to fans? Promo West airs live performances on NBC late Saturday nights in Columbus Ohio
does allison actually play guitar?i mean obviously shes holding a guitar and is playing one bar chord ......but thats it i can see does anyone see her actually "playing" anything? jus wondering. and remember jamies got that floor pedal that records loops that playback while he plays something new over the loop....
Prof. growth progresses .. I like the energy! But it is likely that there will be an endless exploitation of waste material .. although it is clear that Alison & Jamie right people. I wish you guys do not end up ..

Underrated is very fitting. He's amazing.

unbeatable! Allison and Co and on fire!
Jamie Hince's guitar playing is awesome and has a primal raw sound. He also looks sort of like Jimmy Fallon.

Even now in 2024, Mosshart and Hince are boss level 👍😊
Allison y Jamie, llevan el rock a otro nivel. Hay apartes donde pareciera escuchar a los NIN. Super. From Colombia
I was at this show! Awesome
When I find a source of unique inputs... well, it touches me on a lot of different levels.
Cranking this July 16, 2022 in a log cabin in the UP of Michigan...do they even know how far and wide their art travels...Alison is a total babe
Alison 'Vee Vee' Mosshart always looks so damn happy after a song. It means something for her connecting with an audience. She is awesome.
She's just on drugs
@@happy_lee453 lol, they look to be effective

And where might St Andrew's Hall be located?
Detroit, Michigan.
Thanks!
I wish they would give all players on the stage equal on camera time.
I like 'em better with just the drum machine.
