Most likely the reason why Caine didn't kill any henchmen in Osaka was out of respect for Shimazu his friend. Who he ended up killing in the end anyways.
He was leaving and tells shimazu to live but shimazu wanted to die fighting so he had no choice
@@kaiverse9568 I mean, shimazu kinda deserved it. Caine did stop cause he has a daughter and his daughter was held captive. And Caine tells Caine to take care of his daughter but Shimazu just insisted on continuing the fight so Caine had no choice
I think John's fate is implicated with his semi-final exchange with Caine towards the end of their duel.
John: "Those who cling to death live."
Caine: "Those who cling to life die."
If John is presumed dead, he can quitely move on with his life. If he is known to be alive, he can never escape.
If they do end up doing a 5th movie, which has been suggested, I think they have a golden opportunity to bring it back down to a smaller scale like the 1st movie. But either way, if it ended here it's a perfectly fine ending and one helluva great final film.
Well, they usually say if you don't see the character die on screen then they really aren't dead. I mean, he did lie down but we didn't see John in the coffin and get buried. John might have died but The Boogeyman lives. So maybe he did it to say that John wick is dead, but the Boogeyman isn't. So maybe he's taking a rest

Both Stahelski and Keanu have said they’re taking a break and are in fact doing a different movie together. Guaranteed they’re done
@@jacobmcmillan6787 I mean, they did confirm that a part 5 was happening and they were going to do both films at the same time before the pandemic. But then that happened and yeah, here we have a masterpiece. We didn't see John get buried or in a coffin. So maybe he's not dead but did that so he can take a break.

I went to this without seeing any of the trailers (I have well-placed faith and investment from the other movies) and lost my dang mind suddenly seeing Rina Sawayama show up on screen and then getting such cool action scenes!
had to watch this twice in theatres. CRAZY movie. Killa was a big surprise!

You know, 28:22 feels like it was written as a tribute to Lance Reddick, but there's no way they could've shot that scene between his death and the movie being released. It's almost like the writers knew that Lance was going to die. I know that that's impossible, and that even suggesting it is probably disrespectful. I guess I'm just still trying to process Lance's passing.

Aw same. Like I was in disbelief that he passed away. I'm still sad but I went to see this to honour him and because I wanted to see it. But yeah, Lance Reddick will be missed

I wasn't ready for all the feels (Charon is my favorite character in the franchise since the first time I saw the first movie and I adore Hiroyuki Sanada), so I put off seeing this in theaters until a couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed it so much with my dad, but wow did I cry a lot. Great reaction as always!

You can say that to almost every character in John Wick. The choreography is fun to watch, but letting John Wick hit/take away the gun at close range is kind of a staple plot-armor issue for him. 😅
There should be more closeups of Cain/Donnie's ear like in the Martial arts films. Imagine his full skillset as assassin with sight. More dangerous than Johnathan.

This was an excellent addition to the John Wick saga. Simply amazing fan service.
Yen was the highlight of the movie, but Zarraro was also an absolute madman. Probably the toughest Wick's opponent next to Cain .
That "big boy" is Scott Adkins, one of the most renowned martial artists in movie business

Oh man i just finished watching this movie! awesome movie and i didnt expect to **spoiler**
see john wick actually die. very crazy!
This movie was soooo long lol So cool to see Clancy Brown in this franchise.
I mean, any film that is 2 hours and 30 minutes or longer is going to guarantee it's going to be good. Especially if you have Donnie In it.
If you notice, John Wick was shot in the same places he shot the doc in Part 3 to avoid killing him. That had to be intentional. Besides, they've pretty much confirmed another film, but even if they hadn't, I'd still think John survived.
Great reaction. I loved the movie also. But I have seen interviews with Chad and Keanu talking about a number 5. If that happens lets finally hope John Wick gets peace.
Honestly, and this is just me as much as I love the character of John Wick I think it’d be best we just move on from him entirely, cause to me it would just ruin, the ending that he didn’t realize he’d been wanting for so long. I think I would like to see a solo movie about Cain or Mr. Nobody.
I really loved this movie. Loved the Osaka fight, the whole sequence in Paris. I liked this ending for John (assuming they don’t bring him back)
The only part I could have done without was the fat suit on Killa. Not the fight itself, and the scene was good… I just found the fat suit pretty cringe.
So many great new characters- the marquis, Caine, Nobody, Akira
I am guessing Caine giving up his eyes had to do with the protection of his daughter but still wanting to be able to be close to her. I suspect the condition had something to do with “You can never see her again”
Looking forward to more stuff in this world.

Watching this on IMAX was such an epic experience I haven't felt for a very long time since Fury Road and The Raid 2

And it did not slow him...30 paces, 20 paces A duel is turn based until the last man shoots the the other would wait. ,10 paces only one man shot. As you noticed. But to take the coups deep grad is 4th round it was satisfaction to point your to the impetuous Marques who rushed into John's10 paces space...it was still he's turn. So by rules Marques would stand in place and wait his turn... But as was whale spoken just kill him...he realized he had to wait his turn but also he was stupid close,,,anyway guys. My favorite part of the whole movie
I wasn't a big fan of the first 3 films, but this one was so good that I watched twice in theaters.,
For the time being, I believe that John is really dead. Before this movie, I had read that the director said that the only way John's story can end is with him dying, and I was dreading that. But, the ending made me accept his death. He died on his own terms, as a free man, and now he's reunited with his beloved Helen (no offense to anyone who doesn't believe in the afterlife). The writers could easily say that his death was faked if they wanted to do a fifth movie, but for now, I think they should let him rest.

I think this movie was just as dumb as the last one great action but godamn the writing is really bad when you think about it
