They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
The batteries in my XM4 swiftly died right after the warranty ended. They suddenly started getting HOT when charging, and within two weeks the battery life dropped to about 20% of what it once was. From what I read, it is a known issue.

My Mrs got pair of them and after trying them only took me 2 weeks to admit defeat and spend the bucks as you really do get what you pair for with these. Like having night club in your ears
I have had multiple pairs of jabras including the elite 7 pros. I have a pair of buds 2 pros and a pair of soundcore liberty 4s. The buds 2 pros were my favorite for sound and comfort but the matte coating wore off pretty quickly and the left ear bud stopped working within a year. Can't really go wrong with the build quality, features and sound of the jabras. Liberty 4s might have the most detail and best frequency range of all but I don't like the stems or the sound controls.
I had this happen with my elite 75t. Grab your ear bud that's not working and on the inside of earbud right below the charging pins.. there's a little hole. Take a toothpick or pin and clear out that a couple times. It completely fixed mine. Lmk if this works
Been using galaxy buds pro for maybe 2-4 years now ( not sure ) from S20+ to iphone13 . I feel my galaxy buds pro has been very stable and i don’t face any issues
@@jlj547idem I used them for 3 years, probably around 7/8 hours a day(dropping them A LOT of times) and they are good as new. Now i just bought the pro 2, i hope they are good too
I bought the Jabra Elite 7 pro, they sounded good and fitted very well, however, they developed a fault within a few minutes where one bud wouldn't connect. I contacted their support, followed all the steps (3 times) and couldn't fix the problem so returned them. Around 6 weeks later they were on offer so I thought I'd give them another go, this time the left bud didn't work at all. No power lights, resetting didn't work, no sign of life. I returned that pair as well. I've owned the Elite 65t for a number of years, haven't had many issues (sometimes they refuse to charge) and like the fit and sound but after my recent experience I won't be going back to Jabra for a while.
I’ve been a long time Apple user for about 10years over Bose time wise, but Bose wins by a long shot in my opinion Bose wins in every category!!! Save your self the headache get Bose. Unless you just simply want Apple
I absolutely love my sony 1000mx4's but now at 18 months suddenly my left earbud lasts about 20 minutes on a full charge. Absolutely ridiculous for something I take very good care of seeing as how they are left in my office at work and only used while sitting at my desk. As much as I like them I will not be replacing them with the same.
I wear my Sonys everyday at work for about 9 hours. I had 2 pair & neither pair made it 5 moths without getting down to lose than 1 hour or use before dying. It happened overnight too! One day I was chatting them after lunch & literally the next day I had to stay charging them by 9! I'll never signed that much on Sony again.
I have wf 1000 xm3, had them for 3 years now and frankly have never been too impressed, would never by in ear Sonys again, that being said I have the wh 1000 mk4s and they are truly some of the best over ears I’ve ever had. Time to upgrade the in ears though if anyone has recommendations from the video let me know
I wouldn't ever go with another bose product I had to send in my wireless buds after the death red and white flashes. Look it up after a year they will blink and brick your buds. Wife had the same thing happen to hers after about 20 uses no joke. She didn't use them often as me at all but hers still bricked while out mowing the yard. 300 dollars of junk now.
Great video! I will definitely take into my consideration. In my opinion, I would love to see some data/test comparisons and emf emissions in future videos.
I’ve had the Jabra Elite 7 Active for a year. Really impressed with them. The Active Noise Cancellation is great at the gym. The battery life is fantastic. And I recently left them in my gym shorts and accidentally put them in the washing machine on a 40° wash for over an hour and they still worked great (they are IP57 rated). No hesitation in recommending them.
I have had B & O E8 and they stopped working very quickly even though the sound was good, but the customer service was terrible. Sony MK4 we're very good sound wise, but never got them to fit very well. I am now using AirPod Pro 2 and they are solid , reliable and good on sound quality. I've just bought the Bose QC2 and I like them a lot. They have better ANC than the AirPods and the sound is a little warmer overall they are the best ear buds I have had.
I’ve always found earbuds uncomfortable but it has been years since I last tried any beyond just a few minutes. I currently have some Sony over the ear headphones that allow multipoint connections that I use at work to switch between music and teams calls. The ANC is amazing. But I’ve been thinking about doing some traveling and earbuds are a lot easier to pack. Given the quality of my Sony cans, I’m not surprised to see you rated Sony the highest. I also just checked and the latest earbuds from Sony also allow multipoint connections. I might just have to give them a try. Thanks for the thorough video!
Took me many Best Buy trips (within return period) to find a pair of earbuds that did not chafe and cause sore spots or fall out. Each persons ears so individual, it seems the only way is a multi-day trial fit period.
Just picked up brand new Sony WF. It was very underwhelming. The sound was very quiet compared to others. Even played with their equalizer app and still got beat by cheaper ones.
Thanks for the review. Very informative. As much as I loved the sound quality and function of my Jabra Elite 75t, I had to return mine to Jabra a total of 5 times due to either left or right bud stopped working. Return process was a pain. So they are no longer on my list of potential replacements. They may have fixed the problem but I’m not willing to take a chance with Jabra again. Just my opinion. But I’m steering clear of Jabra.
sounds like we had the same problem. This is not a technical problem. There are tiny holes in the case which are necessary for full sound functionality, when they are sealed with dirt the sound drops to a very low volume. After cleaning they worked fine again. I had mine for 2,5 years and lost them 2 weeks ago.
@@AmokseppGersame here I've had my 75ts for some years, cleaned them out when the sound went low. However I have lost them a few days ago. Have you found a replacement as good as the 75t??

Yeah mine had issues as well and the battery stopped lasting and 2 weeks after the warranty ran out they weren't interested in helping. The battery lasts about 30-40 min now
I have the bose , sony and air pods pro 2. I think the bose is the winner for daily driver ,the comfort and for overall sound. Thats my opinion. The sony its very good for bass but for the clear and smooth for your ear bose is the winner . I know bose its pricy but you will satistfy with it. Sony its also good too but when i use sony for more than 1 hour , my ear start to hot and hurt. Sony linkbuds more comfort from xm4 but more than 2-3 hours its start to hurt too. Different with bose i can use the QC2 until shutdown.
@@aurorared2222 Just curious at first, looking for the best, until you realise that the sound will be wasted when your ears start to feel uncomfortable.
I’ve used a Lasuney T15 for a few years and they worked great, it I stepped on them and need something new.. I like touch control, but that doesn’t seem common on most earbuds anymore.. A lot of people are also saying their earbuds break or malfunction really quickly.. A few people I know who got new ones say they fall out of their ears.. It also doesn’t help that the cases are so large, for seemingly no reason.. Why do they make them symmetrical, when slightly shifting the earbuds let them fit in a small space? I just want a nice, small set of earbuds..
Thanks to this video I ordered a set of Bose Quiet Comforts II and I must say they're even better than the review gives them credit for. So thank you for alerting me to these.
I've owned 3/6 of these earbuds (XM4, Elite 7 Pro, AirPods Pro 2). If you're in the Apple ecosystem the easy answer really is to just get the AirPods Pro 2. They sound great, have great ANC, have the best transparency, and work really well with your Apple devices. The Elite 7 Pros are the best ecosystem-agnostic all-rounder with great fit, sound, battery life, and good transparency mode and call quality with their only real weakness being their ANC and the occasional connection bugginess. The XM4 have the best ANC of the three and a really satisfying bassy sound, but I had the most fit issues with them, since they were so big, so I had to return them. Wouldn't recommend to people with smaller ears. The cheaper Linkbuds S are arguably a better all-round package than the XM4, but even then I think the Elite 7 Pros have them beat in that regard with the Linkbuds S only really having the leg up in ANC.
@@rinhallee4375I switched from apple to Samsung, Airpods will work just fine for you as all the controls still work (including noise cancelation). And the sound is still great
i really love jabra product... it fits well and gives most comfort in my opinion... wear it and forget it.. you can even use it while sleeping or laying without too many pressure to your ear canal... but i kind of disappointed with the bass of the jabra elite 7 pro... wanna buy another one with better bass..but i never found better one than jabra in size, fit and comfort...
I think I have really small ear canals because most earbuds either really hurt my ears, or won’t stay in (some even projectile out of my ears, not kidding!) I thought the Jabra sounded good from your video. I’m able to buy the Bose Quiet comfort for cost through a family member. What would you suggest for my choice? FYIi use them daily for books or music and taking calls. Switching from iPhone to iPad to laptop.
if you only listen to music (mp3 320kbps) will it matter if you use a budget or a expensive earbud? will there be a difference in sound quality? and wich earbud do you reccommend for using it for only mp3
1) Oh yes it matters. 2) Find the best discount on any top model of recent years, like Sony wf1000-xm3. They would not be on par with modern ones in advanced ANC etc. but the sound quality would be great.
Yes, it matters. But it depends on your hearing abilities too. Some people can't hear certain frequencies, and everyone has their own preferences for sound, like more midtones or bass, etc.
People , just go for airpods pro, they last years! Mine are 3 years old and still working! But when im in a call kinda cuts my voice , but after 3 years its not that bad.
@@emir07268 not at all, one thing they said it was the noise cancelation, but honestly first generation do great aswell, you wont tell the diffetence because i tested them both and the diference is very slight.
I own the airpods pro2. It has great sound. But i had teouble accepting calls. Also it so slippery when trying to handle it on the head and mot the stem. When you accidentally drop the case with the airpods in, it would just opens and scatter the airpods. Falls off your ears a lot when u bend over and that’s what i hate the most anout it. I am ready to try bose but so expensive.
I use Master & Dynamic MW07 great sound quality. After year use, the left earbuds frequently disconnects while using. Battery life also depletes especially my right side after about 20 minutes use

I would like to get the "Bose 2 Quiet Comfort" for use when riding my motorcycle. But I am not sure if they will fit under my motorcycle helmet. Does anybody have experience with earbuds in motorcycle helmets? Cheers.
Okay so they are noise canceling but which ones are noise canceling for the recipient of your phone call. I have AirPod pros and everyone I’m on the phone with complains they can hear all the background noise around me. Help i want headphones that don’t have this issue
I’ve had the Sony 1000xm4 and Jabra elite 7 pro I like sound and volume of the Sony better but it lacks multi device connectivity, so I prefer the features of the Jabras
@@meegssan5716I have both Sony xm4 and Jabra Active 75t. The sound on Sony is marginally better if you pay close attention. Jabra fits better and more importantly Jabra which is well over 2 years is still in perfect state whereas Sony is pretty useless now as the right earbud does big last more than 20mins. Maybe xm5 will be better but still it’s a little worrying as after paying so much it’s not guaranteed how long it would last
😂 Drop this Video I've bought and Used those All ANC in this Video except the Apple since the first Ipod I bought I've had the hard-drive stopped working and and the data was corrupt. So I never ever bought any other Apple IPhone. I have owned the #1 (Sony) pick for over a year now and can say they are nice, but the tips are sold as replaceable. So after about a year the noise canceling diminishes so you will need to buy more of the little foam tips. Other than that they are great. I wear them to the gym. I will say do not wear any headphones in the sauna as it destroys the battery. After a few months your battery will not hold a charge.
I got the wf-1000xm4 earbuds and they were very uncomfortable in my ear probs because my ears were to small and they weren't great for all day in my opinion
Great video. However, I have some doubts about whether these in ear earbuds are really suitable for running. They have two drawbacks, one is insufficient stability, and the other is that they cannot hear the surrounding sound when worn in the ear, which is very dangerous. I prefer to use Bone conduction headphones when running. Now I use Wissonly Hi Runner. It works well and is worth recommending.
The AirPods Pro are probably the most suitable for running out of all of these thanks to their great transparency mode, but I agree that fit stability is an issue, and that bone conduction is probably the way if you're a serious runner.
That's old thinking. New tech can make them easy to hear sounds or not. It's up to you to be smart when running outside. Don't blast the music and have some ambient sound.
I've had both the Sony and the Bose earbuds mentioned here. As others have mentioned, battery life decays on the Sony after a while, although I did get more than a year out of them. I haven't had the Bose ones as long but they are excellent imo. They sit more comfortably than the Sony version and the battery life is absolutely insane. The only downside for me is that the Bose+ app is really buggy, almost to the point of being unusable.
Sony xm4 has severe battery problems, one earbud will get decent life while the other one will die in an hour. This is a problem that occurred to me from day to another
@aXque I am watching new videos to replace mine. They are only 1.5 years old and have been having issues for the last 3 or 4 months. They won't charge all the way (or at all sometimes). It will overheat and flash red. They have good sound, comfortable (imo), good Noise canceling, and used to have good battery life. Now they are not trustworthy to get even 2 hours out of at the best.
@@aXque Yes. Started a month ago and has gotten worse. It's gotten so bad the concept of a "battery life" pretty much no longer applies to the left earbud as it will just disconnect after a few minutes every time no matter what the charge is. Shame too, they were really good quality sound and noise cancelling was good too. Had them for a little over a year.
@@aXqueyes.. that’s why I’m watching this vid.. left side started would only last about an hour after a firmware update. I contacted Sony.. sent the earbuds back as they were going to replace them. Once they were received by Sony they informed me they didn’t have any to send a replacement so offered a buy back. Trying to decide if I want the Sony again.. other than the battery issue I had no complaints.. and Sony is addressing the charge issue which has been a pretty straight forward process so do have confidence having another go with them.
I’ve had some real issues with my Bose, they randomly disconnect from bluetooth, can’t find my phone, and I have to “forget” them and reconnect them which sometimes doesn’t even work. Very annoying. The microphone sometimes doesn’t work right either, because people can’t hear me. Not worth the money, despite great audio
Dont go for sony mine left one failed in 1 year 1 month and now i have to buy another left side its a very common issue. Go for any company other than sony
Help me, with the Sony xm4 do you need a Sony charger for them to work and keep charge for ages. I'm using some other charger and they do not last long, I've used the app and it's in the latest update, please help lol
No. I just had mine sent in for the same thing. Insurance couldn’t repair them. I think it’s a firmware problem. Try to reinitialize them. It might help.
@@dennissantander Or just get Sennheisers with much better battery life so you don't have to go without earbuds while you mess around with getting them replaced under warranty.

The galaxy buds 2 were probably the most disappointing thing I have ever bought a second generation of. They fall out constantly, they twist in my ears, and if anything damp even comes near them they think you touched the pause button. I was a HUGE fan of the original galaxy buds and wore them 10 hours a day every day until they finally died. The whole reason I am watching earbud videos is because I hate the galaxy buds 2 Pros so much I need other earbuds.
The Sony WF-1000XM4 are crappy sounding and not loud at all compared to the Denon PerL Pro. To me, those are really noticeably superior to the Sony's in every aspect. Sony WF-1000XM4 = SD Denon PerL Pro = 4K
Bullshit, I have them for one year, and recently left earbud stopped charging. Did some research and people are having the same problem. So much money spend to only have them work for 1 year? pfffff
@@MariuszSemSemik I was folley to marketing. I bought the Sony WF-1000XM4s which the ANC never worked. Also the buds did not get loud & had poor bass compared to all those paid influencers praising the deep bass (sale reps out there.) Maybe my ear shape is incompatible. The range, battery life etc are good. I returned them & bought the Sennheiser M3s. I am an audiophile with a liking of beep bass and crystal treble. These were the loudest buds I tried from the Sony WF-1000XM4, Sportbud S which the mic was faulty btw returned as well & the WF-C500. (Diclaimer -I haven't had the luxury of testing various units as I am not sponsored or paid to do this.) That would also destroy my impartiality. I also have a pair of Panasonic RW-300s, a bargain basement special as a backup. It's mic works the best, has reasonable battery life around 5 hours at max volume. The sound is bad because it can't go "down low" but that's the cost saving you save for the product. The fit is pathetic and will fall out if you are doing physical work. The only reason I praised the Technics is that I know their hi-fis from the 1980s where really in good in the low end of the market and Panasonic is affiliated to them. So basically I praised something blind which is pretty disingenuous & apologise accordingly. In closing the Sennheisers are not perfect. They drop connection at times and you have reconnect them which can be annoying. The range is pretty paltry as my head unit is a Samsung Note 10 with Bluetooth Version 5.0 whereas the earbuds are Bluetooth Version 5.2. The mic is not the best however it picks the sound around you quiet well in transparency mode which is pretty useful when in traffic or on the road or just want to be aware of your surroundings. The ANC on the other hand is simply not good enough. Charging time & running time are excellent. Playing time is around 5hours plus. I did not pedantically time them. Charging is also just over 30 mins which is fantastic. I had not tried Bose, Apple Buds nor B&O which I feel can knock these the M3s out for 6 but unfortunately until I try them I cannot comment. Good luck with your purchase.

Ive had mine for 3 years, and have used them pratically everyday for 5 hours its built like a comfortable tank.

I used them for 3 years, probably around 7/8 hours a day(dropping them A LOT of times) and they are good as new.
I've owned the Elite 65t for a number of years, haven't had many issues (sometimes they refuse to charge) and like the fit and sound but after my recent experience I won't be going back to Jabra for a while.
wtf
Can confirm on the elite 65t issues
I’ve been a long time Apple user for about 10years over Bose time wise, but Bose wins by a long shot in my opinion Bose wins in every category!!! Save your self the headache get Bose. Unless you just simply want Apple
Nah Get Soundcore Space series or Sony Linkbuds S.
Just change the battery, look it up it's not that hard

EVERYONE KNOWS BOSE IS KING 👑
My favorite buds are probably Purple Kush, White Widow and Trainwreck.
What about the Sennheiser?
Just picked up brand new Sony WF. It was very underwhelming. The sound was very quiet compared to others. Even played with their equalizer app and still got beat by cheaper ones.
I have had the wf 3s for three years now, was also extremely underwhelmed I see a common occurrence with these in ear Sonys smh.

I have a Samsung phone but intend to switch to Apple when I can and I need new earbuds. would the airpods pro 2 work well with my current phone?
@@rinhallee4375I switched from apple to Samsung, Airpods will work just fine for you as all the controls still work (including noise cancelation). And the sound is still great

What about Technics ex80?
if you only listen to music (mp3 320kbps) will it matter if you use a budget or a expensive earbud? will there be a difference in sound quality? and wich earbud do you reccommend for using it for only mp3
I study for my personal training certification in a factory, online over the phone ap, so I need noise canceling buds.
People , just go for airpods pro, they last years! Mine are 3 years old and still working! But when im in a call kinda cuts my voice , but after 3 years its not that bad.
are the first generation airpods worth it? is there a big difference?
@@emir07268 not at all, one thing they said it was the noise cancelation, but honestly first generation do great aswell, you wont tell the diffetence because i tested them both and the diference is very slight.
Sony’s pods are extremely big and uncomfortable. Hurt my ears pretty good every time I was wearing them. Already returned them.
What about Huawei Freebuds Pro 2 ?
I use Master & Dynamic MW07 great sound quality. After year use, the left earbuds frequently disconnects while using. Battery life also depletes especially my right side after about 20 minutes use

I am thinking about getting the Jabra elite 10. Any thoughts or someone with experience? They are 200 euro now
Great video.
I run everyday and I use the Samsung's buds 2 pro. No issue so far.
That's old thinking. New tech can make them easy to hear sounds or not. It's up to you to be smart when running outside. Don't blast the music and have some ambient sound.
Jabras hold up pretty well when doing sports
If you want awareness then you're probably gonna want bone conduction ones
Jabra is very nice am using near 2 year bass is very nice bettry also good

I've had both the Sony and the Bose earbuds mentioned here. As others have mentioned, battery life decays on the Sony after a while, although I did get more than a year out of them. I haven't had the Bose ones as long but they are excellent imo. They sit more comfortably than the Sony version and the battery life is absolutely insane. The only downside for me is that the Bose+ app is really buggy, almost to the point of being unusable.
Sony xm4 has severe battery problems, one earbud will get decent life while the other one will die in an hour.
This is a problem that occurred to me from day to another
I've read that on too many places to ignore it. Can anyone confirm that owns xm4?
@aXque I am watching new videos to replace mine. They are only 1.5 years old and have been having issues for the last 3 or 4 months. They won't charge all the way (or at all sometimes). It will overheat and flash red. They have good sound, comfortable (imo), good Noise canceling, and used to have good battery life. Now they are not trustworthy to get even 2 hours out of at the best.
Same here.
