Yes. After 2 months it still works perfectly. I can connects my DS3 only pressing the PS button, and sometimes i don't need to start SCP to connect it or playing.
Hi, how can i make it dedicated to my usb dongle because im using a laptop and it keeps on connecting to my laptop's bluetooth and not in the dongle. Thankyou very much
It did work for me but for some reason I lost my bluetooth icon whenever I restart my PC afterwards which led me to reinstall the bluetooth driver and do this process again. Any tips on how to to fix this?
Star-->configuration-->Device-->device administrator-->Right click on the bluetooth divice--> Update Driver--> Find driver on your computer --> Select your old driver
So, im about to quit trying this, i've already check all the guides on youtube but i cant get it working trough bluethoot, somehow the control works perfect via usb, but when i unplug the usb cord, the conection is finished and for some reason it reject the wireles conection while i try pressing the ps button on the controller, since it doesnt even try connecting by itself, can i get some help here please?
it says "you are about to modify a system driver are you sure you want to do this?" I'm too worried to proceed after this screen, would it potentially ruin the controller if it doesn't work?
no its just modifying a driver on your pc the controller will be fine. if you ever need to reset your controller you just power it off and plug it into your ps3
I've tried this about 4 or 5 times, I can't seem to get it to show the right host address, despite installing it successfully, it could be my Bluetooth dongle isn't working for the controller, quite unhappy with this but thanks for the help though, appreciate it.
Teph yes i tried but its say the installation was failed .. i have bt in my computer but i am using usb dongle .right now i using ps control with usb cable and its work.
Teph I don't think I was, but I've heard it makes your bluetooth only work with ps3 controllers so I'm not keen. I just had to reinstall windows because of another issue anyway, so it'll be a little bit before I try doing this again.
It's just changing drivers, no permanent damage can be done it would just be a matter of uninstalling the dongle from the device manager then unplug/replug it to get the default drivers loaded
It works, holy shit. You're the only one that actually helped me and it really works! much thanks!!
no problem
Presto! Worked like a charm Thanks a lot.
It works fine on my laptop. Windows10 + DS3. Thanks!

So, I install this after or before the scp? or don't install the scp driver at all?

Bro if i used a mouse dongle , how can connect my mouse to its dongle again ??
You won't be able to use both, you gotta reinstall your most drivers from the manufacturers website to regain use of the mousr
THE INSTALLER FAILED WHAT I NEED TO DO ?
could you be more specific? did you run the tool in administrator mode?
Teph yes i tried but its say the installation was failed .. i have bt in my computer but i am using usb dongle .right now i using ps control with usb cable and its work.
I don't have zadig....
are you using the download link from the description?

Teph Plugging isn't an option, it's built in.
You could still manually reinstall your original drivers from the device manager, but if you don't have a copy of them then no I wouldn't do it.
