    These look sick, I'm starting a new job soon and will be close enough to commute via bike, an agile and zippy xc would be perfect for detroit potholes and I have some back wood trails on the way back. Can you tell me how long the sale will last? I'm not ready to buy until the end of July, just don't wanna get my hopes up as $1899 is out of my budget.

      Don't stress it - we are still waiting for more Superior stock to arrive. July should bring even more models to the website, and that could work out for you quite nicely!

    Hi, have a question about suspension upgrades on my bike and really need your help. I’ve got a 2018 Santa Cruz 5010 (27.5 Small) I’d like to put on fox float x2 and fox 38. Not sure if they’re compatible. Please let me know. Thanks! If not, any upgrades you recommend?

      You'll need to compare it to the spec sheet of your bike and make sure they're the same dimensions to be compatible.

      I think your Santa Cruz came with 130mm forks so geometry wise I think the Fox 38 would mess up the head angle as it would be 170mm. Maybe look for a Fox 34 140mm fork as it gets great reviews, plus it will save you a lot of $ & grams.

    Hi bikes online. I recently purchased the XP 929. Im trying to lower my seat post but theres a small screw inside that limits how low the seat post goes. How do I fix this?

    • @bikesonline
      @bikesonline  2 месяца назад

      The 929 should have an alloy post which if need be can be cut shorter!

    I'm considering purchasing a bike. I am considering either the Specialized Rockhopper Expert or 929 version of this bike. It seems like this comes with higher end components and I am attracted to the lightweight of the carbon fiber frame. My only worry is if the handlebars being skinnier are going to make it weird? Can you offer any advice? Thanks.

      Well the good news is, handlebars are really easy to swap out. They're not THAT narrow though - still a modern size. You're absolutely right about this bike being much more bang for your buck.

      As Jared said you can swap out the handlebars & if you have a carbon frame you should have carbon handlebars. Also, ride the 760mm wide bars first as you may like them. That's what I ride with after having to chop my Oneup carbons down from 800mm after I kept clipping tree trunks.

    Im debating whether to get the Superior XP 929 or the Polygon Xtrada 7. Is the 929 worth the upgrade from the xtrada 7 or are they very similar? Right now the price difference is about $200. Is it worth to pay the extra 200 for the 929 or the difference is not worth it?

    • @bikesonline
      @bikesonline  3 месяца назад

      The current pricing we have for the XP929 is introductory so that people will give them a try, since they're new to the states. Under normal pricing circumstances, the pricing difference between the two models would be much more significant. The Xtrada 7 is an amazing bike for its price, but it's important to note that the XP929's spec sheet is superior (no pun intended) in almost every way.

    These bikes are amazing, especially for the price they're at right now. I'm pretty set on getting one this summer, but I'm struggling to find any information on the website on which bikes come with wire bead tires. I've heard that the XP 919 comes with wire bead tires, but what about the 939 and 929? I've been unable to find that info. As both the 939 and 929 would pretty much completely max out my budget, I was just wondering if they came with tires that would need to be upgraded eventually for a tubless setup. I also had a question about the carbon frames on the 929 and 969. Are they literaly the exact same frame? I know that some companies will have a slightly worse molding/manufacturing process for their cheaper carbon frames, just wondering if Superior did this. Awesome video, can't wait to get my hands on one of these sick bikes!!!

      The XP929 and the XP969 have identical frames with slightly different colors. As for the tires, I'll follow up with you to make sure we have the right information - I forwarded it to a product specialist in the company.

      Update: only the XP969 comes with Tubeless ready tires - Wire beads on all of the others. This is coming from a manager who just checked the bikes. Cheers!
