I feel Shoresy's arch nemesis needs to be just a super friendly dude that just loves to play so he's not very competitive, but is still super good. And he's so friendly that he appreciates the quality of Shoresy's shit talk that he genuinely laughs at them and says "good one" so instead of Shoresy getting a rise out of him, Shoresey works himself up because he can't get a negative reaction.
Awhile back there was a clip going around of Brad Pitt saying he was a big fan of Letterkenny. I remember trying to think of what a good role for him to play in the show and thought Shorsey's step dad...who is banging his mom...would have been epic. They didn't go that direction but I did notice they put in some references to Snatch and bow howdy that is good enough for me
This was basically Frankie in Letterkenny. The only time we saw the God King bleed.
There is one guy Shoresy chirps who is profoundly unbothered by it. He's big, left of frame and has a half-cage and that's almost all I remember. Shoresy's like "I'm gonna cross-check you in the face, I'm comin' for your top row" and the guy's like "Ok, get after it". I'm striking out on finding the clip but I'll keep looking.
@@JasonFahy I don't know if there's a clip for it but it's the scene in season 1 against Timmins, first game with the new additions to the squad and they set up Frankie for the go ahead goal late off the draw. It's part of the shit talk to get the Timmins player to cross check Shoresy off the draw instead of caring about the faceoff

Enjoying the season so far but is inflation effecting season 2? episodes seems short, last 2 didn't even make it to 20 mins.
Well the first episode of Season 1 is just barely 20 minutes, if that. Then everything afterwards was like 23-25 minutes, not including the last episode. So I get the first episode being short, but the second episode being short also may be concerning if it continues into episode 3.
