Nice, I have seen Gold Fever in a loooong time. Tom looks like he could be related to my Dad he reminds me of my dad when i was a kid before he became diabetic.
You guys are taking it to another level. Almost mystical, making Costa Rica look like a magical fairytale. I will have to step up my game. Love the attitudes and personalities, greeting from the Philippines. Montana Mike.
It’s nice to see you again Tom.Your children have grown .and so has your production.been a long time since I’ve seen one of your shows ! Well done. ⚒️🔦 awesome adventure …
Nobody can describe to you the "joy" of Costa Rica jungle time. 100% humidity, 100 degrees, you have to use an axe to cut your air, and as you said, your sweat has sweat. Add to that the terrain, serious brush problem (damn jungle!), and then one of the scariest snake species on the planet, and you want to run into MUCHO ORO! Depending on where you are in the country, in most places it rains pretty much daily. Rains for an hour or so, then suddenly the sun's out again, hot as Hades, and the moisture evaporates as a rising fog. On serious storm days it's spooky. Serious thunderboomers. The amount of rain that comes down can be startling.
He may be correct at an intersection of rivers downstream. Ive studied a lot about prospecting along with history. Many times where 2 rivers meet, is a vein. Like the Yukon met Rabbit creek, aka Bonanza creek.
I'm going batty LoL 😂 great kids and their the best kids ever ... Most young ones would run from the hard work but not yours lol It must have been cold in that water after dark but she push through until it was done 👍
So, eye and head protection are optional when hammering out chunks above? Seems beyond irresponsible from my vantage. For "entertainment purposes only", I suppose.
@@Johnny2buck My question was rhetorical; get a chip in your eye once and you'd probably have a much different response. This was a wildly unsafe execution of "mining".

Bats don’t bite you! They are more scared of you than you are just leaving them alone!
Tell that to Dracula..
When did this episode originally air?
How do we contact Tom and family
I would give your equipment to him when you leave so he has some proper equipment to use?
So what are the Massie’s doing now?
There was a rumor of Kia doing her own show…
Hello Tom,
may I ask where you were looking for gold near San Jose? I may soon be homeless (emigration), and am looking for a job
You should find Eduardo a good place to find gold for him!
What are the regulations on foreigners mining gold in costa rica?
i saw gold in that last hole!
Those rainbow fish dont bite.
Got to watch out for snakes that could kill you!
To bad you don’t have a dredge there!
Meanwhile Edwardo is still struggling to feed and raise his family. I hope Edwardo knows about that waterfall.
Ha, my Gardener makes more $$$ in one day than Edwardo makes all year. 😂
Which are you, Cheech or Chong?
Well you’re 250 lbs of course the old wood is going to break!

Think so. Tom knows what he’s doing. Been prospecting his whole life.
How's about you keep your mouth shut Karen
