Enjoyed the video. Nice haul for the Llano river, especially from the slab area. I mostly get skunked when I go out there but enjoy the scenery and peacefulness of being out there. Thanks again for the video!
That's a pretty good pan of gold for around here! I've heard about gold in the Llano, but I was under the impression that it was very small. That's awesome! Great video!
Very well explained. If the flow of the Sluice Box is low, it is exactly the right method. A slightly larger bucket would have been beneficial when cleaning. Anyway, we old men like it. Best wishes to Texas, Peter 🇩🇪🤜🤛🇺🇸👍🤠
Might be a silly question I've never panned for gold or even found anything gold with a metal detector. Do you get interference or anything from naturally-occurring gold when your metal detecting? Or is it just too tiny to even register?
You should look into a real bucket classifier made by arber fabrication company and make sure to get the tabs. Their primary production is for coffee filters. I've had one of their classifier for four years and am very happy with it.
@@ProspectorsCache what about small electric pumps? I know we're kinda free spirited out here in Texas but I have a setup I'd like to test out in nature before heading up to Colorado this summer Also shout out you and Dave for finding and SHOWING the gold here in Texas
@@BinkkDoesStuff No it is not very concentrated. The place to look is roots of saw grass, black sand deposits behind large obstacles and deep cracks in bedrock in the center of the river. It is hit or miss and you have to know what you are looking for.
