    Recap:
    1. Make an idea worth spreading
    2. Is it better if people talk about it?
    3. Have practical empathy-Be a teacher and have empathy for where people are starting since you are not in control.
    4. Use ads for either measured or unmeasured marketing depending on the nature of your offer; also consider your specific audience. Ads require money and patience.
    5. Make a marketing promise and deliver on it; But, deliver it to the right people, consistently.

    Love this guy! I've used the purple cow analogy in my sales and marketing training sessions than any other example. If you don't know about Seth's purple cow, look it up NOW! Game changer.

    I really like Seth and agree with him, but I dont know about him saying not to use Podcast as direct marketing. I did it to some level of success

    What Seth calls 'practical empathy' , in negotiators language is called 'tactical empathy'.
