I got the 82 open box from Bestbuy....completely blown away...I got Q70 soundbar and literally have to fight my wife everyday when I get home from work for the TV now thats wasnt a thing before..we've been married since we were 18 that was 25 years ago. Just saying amazing.
@@franciscodsmalls mine is 75" and as you can see it takes up all the space I have. I wish I had a bigger spot for it cause 82" sounds amazing. I think this is one of the best TVs for the money out there and I absolutely love the operating system. It has a couple of small bugs but overall the fact that I can eliminate all the other set top boxes is awesome.
I have the 82 inch and it’s an all around great tv for the money. I love it. I paired it with the Q80 soundbar which is also amazing. My one and only complaint are the reflections in bright sunlight. Just flip the blinds up a little and it’s good. If you’re looking for a large tv at an affordable price get this one. Stay away from the 2020 version Q60T. It is a downgrade.
Good review! Different than all the tech reviews that don't really apply in a normal person's life like watch a game or play RUclips for your baby :) Good job! Thanx!
Echobas3 the Sonos sound bar is good but I feel like for that much money I could have done a little better. I think there are great units out there at half the price.
Nice tv just bought same one I like your set up it's all white mask off tv and paint black trim white to match Sonos and entertainment center 👍 that would look sick
Paul Stein Have you happened to use it with Xbox One X? I’m considering getting it for gaming. It’s the only use I have for it. I use my iPad Pro to watch RUclips and Netflix
The Samsung Q60, 65" will not display Dex correctly when using a Note Ultra 20. I have tried it on a couple of Q60 and same results. I have tried the Notre Ultra 20 on other Samsung TVs and it works just fine. There definately is an issue when pairing a Q60 and a Note Ultra 20.
I have not noticed that at all, but I will make it a point to look for that effect tonight in a dark room with dark content and let you know. Stay tuned.
I’ve been paying attention to this the past few nights and haven’t noticed anything. Mind you I’m not a TV reviewer. I know those guys find faults like there’s an award for it.
I own this panel, bought it (manufacture refurbished) and it’s has wonderful blacks! No bleeding while watching content. UI is very strange to get used to but it works well. But if the screen is on a completely black screen, like switching source you can see that it’s edge lit. No glowing while watching content so far
Mine has backlight bleed in the corners. It is annoying when viewing dark scenes in movies or games but its not noticeable in normal lit scenes. The blacks are pretty bad when compared to oled tv's but this is probably partially because the screen is very reflective.
This tv is a step up from the ru8000 hdr and inn thinking of taking back the ru8000 cause this seems to have a nicer pic what’s your thought would you switch TVs
I bought this TV a few months ago. It is definitely a step up from my folks black and white portable TV from the early 70s It's even got a remote. Don't get sucked in, TV is amazing.
Spaceninjax Gaming Videos from what I’ve read the HDR is not super exceptional on it. But xbox games play great so far. I haven’t noticed any hitter or shaking or delay issues myself. But mind you, I’m really not the pickiest gamer so it’s possible a discerning gamer would notice some flaws.
Did/Have you had any problems with your Sonos Beam syncing up? You dont need any additional remote to control the volume for that do you? Ive seen mixed results in my research
No problems. I use only the Samsung remote for everything (TV, Sonos volume, Netflix, AppleTV, Hulu, Prime, RUclips, ...) The remote, even though it only has very few buttons it's actually quite capable once you learn how to use it properly. I really like the remote. I think there is certainly room for improvement but it's quite good.
Hey, so I recently bought the same TV! But the speakers that it comes with arent loud enough for me. What would you recommend and was it easy to install also did you install it with or without a TV receiver??
I went the the Sonos Soundbar and Sonos On speakers for surround and the sonos Sub woofer for bass. Its a really pricey setup but it works really well. Honestly if you were to ask me if I see the value, I'm somewhat neutral to it. I think it's very good, but not excellent as the price would have you expect. Guests that come over the house (rare these days) seem to be impressed by it but for the money I can't help thinking you might do better. But Sonos is very plug and play. It plugs into the HDMI port and integrates via an app and becomes fully integrated with the TV. No other Amplifier necessary. I just updated the description with the links to all the components I used.
Great thanks! Is the app a must have and once you connect the sound bar to TV (hdmi) do the other speakers connect with the sound bar automatically? Thanks!!
@@toronto9497 Yes, the app is necessary to set everything up. The setup takes about 30 minutes because it has you walk around the room to assess he geometry of the room and do some magic. Or it could all be fake, who knows. But you won't really need to mess with it once you set it up. I still use the app at least once a week when I want to turn the subwoofer and surround on/off because if someone wants to watch TV late at night it's nice to turn the sub off. Otherwise the app has some other features that honestly I haven't bothered exploring.
Great minds ... buy the same stuff? What are you thoughts on Sonos? While I like it I'm just a little disappointed ... I'll do a review on that next I guess.
