I like the leading door edge trim to cut down noise, never have seen these and went to gowesty and there they were just ordered a set the noise has always bothered me and I did not know of the fix. THANKS for the tip. My van is already pretty quiet after I put sound deadening and insulation in all doors, dash, hatch and under back seat but this will take care of the whistle.
@@luek-b Check gowesty give them a call and give a description I bet they can help. I forget now. I sold my van last year and now have a 4wd Mercedes sprinter, its like my vanagon on steroids. Good luck on your search, I think gowesty can help you out.
I have those mirrors, and they are great! Well worth it. You will want a full size spare tire, and the swing away systems are really nice. Although I find I use the hatch less because of it.
Very wise of you to chose mefro steel rims. I have hit some serious pot holes and drove on a flat tire.Aluminium rims would have been destroyed ,but my steel mefro rims are just fine.
Hi Westyman, i'm also a big fan of campervanculture! Thanks for the nice video! I'm also looking for 16" mefro rims, but it seems they are hard to find these days. Where did you get them?
Hi - am having trouble finding those door leading edges. Searched various descriptions at both CamperVanCulture and GoWesty with no luck. Do you have a link you can share? Thanks!
Can tell me about your bike rack? Do the struts hold the weight of the rack, sans bikes of course? I really want to take bikes but need a good system. Does it work well for you Is it a hassle to remove the bikes to access the back? Thanks in advance.
Hey, the struts hold the weight of the rack but the spare tyre is really heavy so when I have that on, the struts sag. Taking bikes off the rack is easy though.
christianna jones Hi, what do you want to know? :-) there’s a factory box (an option in Europe) behind the passenger seat, which has a PP 345 model in it. Works very well, odour and liquid tight.

Nice walk through. I just put the door wind blockers on my list. They work good?

My workshop guy got them together with the tyres - but this was late 2017. I've also heard they're hard to find now.

wilcoxtube Hi, they’re at campervanculture.com/shop/whistle-stop-rubber-top-section/ I had to sift through the whole site to find them too!
westyman.com thanks much!!
Did you have to use any trim adhesive to get them to stay on? I yanked them off after a day and haven't tried again, thanks
What size tires are your Ko2s? Did you have to do any mods to get them to fit?

Hi, whats the bracket on the floor between the gear leaver and handbrake?
It’s called a Bearlock, it locks your shifter in reverse.
