Agree. Bought the 24pound and totally having trouble with 8-12 mph & strong currents. Honestly if their is any wind it’s a nightmare so I’m def gonna upgrade to the 34 👍🏽
Sweet video. I got one of these last week. 24lbs and was wondering would it even last on the sea.. It looked choppy and windy out there for you. Same as here in Ireland. I here the mounting bracket is crap? I haven't fitted mine yet but I see the 2 X 4mm screws, supposed to hold some shaft! as the motor goes at 24lbs thrust. Hmmm, mine says revolutionary new bracket design, hopefully it is but I'm going to use a 30mm nut and bolt to go straight through, instead of them 4mm screws into soft plastic at each side. Cheers and enjoy.
Hey Tony can you tell me how you were able to put that chair on your hobie kayak please. I see you added something on there to mount the seat but would like the details please!
Purchased on EBay. There are Two collars on the shaft where it connects to the Hobie bung which stops it from turning. All steering is controlled by the rudder.
Just bought one today mate..looks like awesome fun!at least for when u need a break from paddling
I’m so tempted to buy one I love it
Cutting waves like butter

Aussie design killer product..
Awesome trolling motor. I tried it for the first time last wk and I'm impressed💯🎣🛶
Pay the little bit extra and get the 34lb thrust, it has 5 speeds forward and 3 reverse speeds. Much quicker but more importantly much more versatile
Totally agree. I did that. the only con is that the propeller motor weighs a lot!
