As you know I’m a DeLorean nut myself. Personally been in 17 DeLoreans and counting. It’s a pleasant car to drive. It’s not the fastest but it does nicely. Did you know the factory was working with Legend industries to come up with a twin turbo that used the same engine. They had a few prototypes made I think 2-3. At full boost it beat a Ferrari 308 and had a 0-60 in 5 seconds. Such a shame it didn’t make it. But you got to think of its time period because USA regulations kind of hurt the car in performance. I can go on and on and on but go drive a DeLorean because you’ll love it. The doors are always fun because they never get old. Makes you feel like a 2 year old again.
The Detomaso Mangusta doesn't have gullwing doors and neither does the Toyota Sera. The Mangusta's engine bay opening looks like gullwing doors. And the Toyota Sera has butterfly doors that hinge diagonally around the A-pillar.
You get a nice cross breeze with both gull wings doors open, they also can shade you from the sun if half way open, perfect for a drive up window (no more reaching up or down while leaning out of the window), You need a high definition picture of a Bricklin to do it justice in the movie. BTW The full size window rolls all the way down on a Bricklin. The only gull wing car to do that. Contact me if you want some good pictures & yes you can drive it too. Can't include the Tesla in the list, they are not true gull wing doors. They are falcon wing style and have and extra fold in them. Mr. H
Disqualified for not being true Gullwing cars: The Model X (Falcon Doors, as defined by two hinges pioneered by Tesla. Elon would be insulted). Mangusta (only the engine compartment opens like that, and I’m pretty sure it has to be held up by a prop rod. Not an entry/exit door). and Sera (Butterfly doors like McClaren and the new Gord GT). I HAVE REPLACEMENTS THOUGH!...... 1: The Vector. Appearing in 1990. It had a few changes over the years but always had the Gullwings. 2: Marcos GT Xylon. Came shortly after the Merc SL 3: The Eagle SS kit car. Has a VW power plant and you can go buy one right now, provided you can find one and the owner will let it go. :-> And an alibi: the Gumpert Apollo.

The Sera's looks more like of a beetle opening its wings than a gull raising theirs.
They could of call it "Elytron" doors.
#9 has butterfly doors like a McLaren or LaFerrari plus you missed out on the Gumpert Apollo s or Apollo IE
my fav car:
1:54
2:09 [for the DeLorean DMC-12] "0-60 happens in a sad...10.5 seconds"
The more important question is: How long does it take to get up to 88 MPH?

Toyota Sera does not fit - it has a door opener like on a Lambo.
No. Lamborghini pioneered the scissor door. The Sera and McClaren are considered butterfly doors.
And the doors on Toyota are butterfly doors noob
@LuckysGMG no , they are not. Gull wing is something like a Mercedes SLS but butterfly door is something like a Mclaren F1 or Lamborghini Aventador
LuckysGMG you should do a research first before calling someone stupid
