Pear's trilling to the babies is beyond cute! "I don't remember having ten babies!" 😄❤️🧡
You'd think that's the kind of thing you'd remember.
I love that Pear is trilling to them. ❤
Just a little background: This is a kitten rescue near Langley, BC, Canada. The mother cat is semi-feral and has six kittens of her own. The kittens in the clear plastic enclosure are an orphaned litter, which is why they are housed separately. When these orphaned kittens were found, this tiniest kitten in the back was near death from dehydration and starvation. In this video, the mother cat is saying hello to the orphaned kittens, but this ferocious little guy is hissing at her because she's not his mama. All of the kittens are currently recovered and are healthy.

They are checked daily, sometimes more often, depending on who visits. They are readjusted as needed. TK team is very good at keeping their inhabitants safe and healthy. ❤
Tiny Kittens is very experienced with kittens. The collar is merely to differentiate between the two identical kittens.
When they check the coats they make sure they can easily slip a finger under the collar. Also, TK just passed the 100th litter mark, so Shelly and all the Aunties are well schooled on virtually every possible thing that might cause a problem for a tiny fluffball. Anyway, kittens this age have such thin necks that even a loose paper collar looks like it must be too tight, especially if they're on the fluffy side.
We do understand your concerns. As a long-time "Villager" I can assure you that the other comments are probably meant in a reassuring way (which may be lost in text translation) and not dismissive.
Shelly and Tiny Kittens is a very experienced rescue. They even have made **huge** contributions to Neonatal (mumble mumble) where the kittens and mom have the fatal blood type mismatch. TKHQ **pioneered** a new approach in partnership with their vets and universities that is now saving newborn kittens.
