@@Daniel-rd6st not sure. My original post was quite awhile ago. However, I was raised on a farm and have had quite a few kitties in my lifetime. Like other species, the gender is often apparent based on the feminine or masculine look in the face without having to look at the business end of things so to speak.
I’m more concerned for the owner than I am for the puppies. That glare at the end promises retribution.

@@djbenje4019 That's incorrect. I've had cats for years. When a cat hisses at something it can be expressing many things, you've got to look at the body language too. In this case the hiss meant the puppies were invading personal space and making the cat feel uncomfortable, despite this the cat was still interested to be friends and have cuddles. Just needed to accustomise. Animals are generally more emotionally intelligent than people, as you prove.
